New Hannah Episode with Jon Cryer

I still think it's weird that Disney's going to burn through the last of the HM season three episodes before the end of next month.

But after Lilly overhears Miley complaining about their new living arrangement, she picks up and moves into her dad Kenneth's cramped apartment, only to find his antics even more harebrained than Miley's, in a new episode of "Hannah Montana" premiering SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. "Hannah Montana" stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, Emily Osment as Lilly Truscott, Mitchel Musso as Oliver Oken, Jason Earles as Jackson Stewart, Billy Ray Cyrus as Robby Stewart and Moises Arias as Rico. Guest starring is Jon Cryer ("Two and a Half Men") as Lilly's dad, Kenneth Truscott. "The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps on Turnin')" was written by Jay J. Demopoulos and Steven James Meyer and directed by Bob Koherr. "Hannah Montana" carries a TV-G parental guideline.
This whole "best friend moves in" thing seems to happen a lot on Disney shows...

I refuse to like Honor Society on principle, but they did a pretty good job on Real Gone. I won't deny that. Another strong showing from Tiffany Thornton. We already knew she could sing, but she continues to impress. Any chance of a album? If Demi can cut one while filming and touring, Tiff can too. :) Wow. I guess Bridgit Mendler can sing. I don't know why I'm so surprised, but I was very impressed. Ruby Summer gets a mention because she picked one of my all time favorite Disney songs, from one of my least favorite disney movies. LOL Alyson Stoner did a nice job on What I've Been Looking For, although I don't know why she did something so contemporary. Could Demi Lovato not make time to record one new song? The Gift of a Friend does not belong on this album. Last but not least, they finally got Debby Ryan to sing a real song! Based on that 30 seconds, I wanna say good - not great. Of course, I reserve the right to change my opinion once I hear the whole song.

Webmaster Greg on the Wizards Set!

It's not everyday you achieve a lifelong goal. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement, but I did fulfill a huge dream of mine when I attended the Wizards of Waverly Place filming on Tuesday (02/02/10) in Hollywood.

Now, if you follow Todd Greenwald on twitter, you would know that tuesday's episode was huge: "Shooting another episode of Wizard's today that I know many of you will be happy to see. That's all I can say about it... Hehe."

Now, I'm not gonna say anything about what happened in the episode except to say that it involves Wizards vs. Werewolves and that I took a picture with a certain blond that I'm sure you'll recognize.

The coolest thing was that Bridgit Mendler actually remembered me from the Good Luck Charlie filming! Her GLC co-star Jason Dolley remembered me too. :)

He's a really cool guy. Jake was fun to talk with as well. But of course, I was there to see Selena. And not only did I speak with her without making a fool of myself, I got a picture with her...

I'm still shocked that they actually let us all play on the sets. The GLC filming kept us all up in the audience area.

This was by far the coolest thing I've ever done. Trumping both my last meeting with Selena and my Ashley Tisdale concert.

But before I wrap up this post, I wanted to make sure you all know about the Save Wizards of Waverly Place movement hosted by Save Disney Shows.

Disney hasn't yet renewed the series for season four. They'd be crazy not to, but this is the same company that canceled Phil of the Future after only two seasons. We need as many fans as possible to write to Disney and let them know that they need to order a fourth season. Hopefully we can nudge Disney into making the obvious decision before they do something really stupid...

Good Luck Charlie Filming Update

I'd like to thank Emily for asking Bridgit for Wizards vs. Werewolves was her last appearance on WOWP when she went to the GLC filming on Friday (1/29/10). Bridgit answered "I don't know", with a wink. Unfortunately, Emily didn't have the chance to ask her about why Wizards hadn't been renewed. Friday's episode was #117 "Girl Bites Dog" directed by Eric Dean Seaton. GLC is taking a break from filming and will resume the week after that. Meanwhile, Eric is going to be back to work on SWAC. "Last GLC until Mid February. Busy week then back to SWAC." And if you where wondering, Eric's also given us the past few GLC titles: Episode 117 "Girl Bites Dog" Episode 116 "Kwikki Chick" Episode 115 "Duncan Talent" Episode 114 "Charlie Goes Viral" Episode 109 "Boys Meet Girls" Episode 108 "Dance Off" Episode 106 "Curious Case of Mr. Dabney" Episode 105 "Up a Tree" Episode 104 "Double Wammy" Episode 103 "Take Mel Out to the Ball Game" Looks like only a couple months until they're finished filming. Then maybe we'll all get to see it! :)

Ahh, so this is the episode with Austin Butler. And could it be, we actually get to see Cheerleader Alex? Heck yeah!
LONDON OFFERS HER FRIENDS ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO INVENT SOMETHING IN A NEW EPISODE OF "THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK," PREMIERING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "London's Apprentice" – When London's father gives her one million dollars to find an invention to market, she enlists her friends to come up with a unique invention and offers them the cash as a prize. At first everyone comes up with their own ideas, but then they combine their resources, wreaking havoc on the ship with their multifunctional robot, in a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," premiering FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
A million dollar robot? Okay... I'm not sure I'm feeling this one. Of course, we already know that Starstruck is airing on February 14th. And Radio Disney's Jake Whetter says that the new season of Sonny with a Chance "airs right before "Starstruck" premieres on February 14th. ;-)" via Twitter. But if that is accurate, it seems strange that Disney wouldn't mention it among all these other press releases. Maybe it will be Spring afterall...

Suite Life on Deck Season Three

It's official! Production has started on Season 3 of The Suite Life on Deck. Official Disney Press release:

A spin-off of the hugely popular "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," the series follows identical twins Zack and Cody Martin, hotel heiress London Tipton, southern belle and Cody's girlfriend Bailey Pickett and former singing teen sensation Marcus Little on a semester at sea aboard the luxurious SS Tipton. More often than not, the group's antics make the dutiful cruise ship's hotel manager, Mr. Moseby, want to walk the plank. "The Suite Life on Deck" stars Dylan Sprouse as Zack Martin, Cole Sprouse as Cody Martin, Brenda Song as London Tipton, Debby Ryan as Bailey Pickett, Doc Shaw as Marcus Little and Phill Lewis as Mr. Moseby. Recurring cast members are Erin Cardillo as Ms. Tutweiller, Matthew Timmons as Woody and Windell Middlebrooks as Kirby.
Alright, I'd admit that press release doesn't tell us much that we didn't already know, but at least we know they're back to work now. :)

Q&A with Jake T. Austin

I'm sure you're all tired of me talking about the D23 Expo, but it was just so amazing to see the whole Wizards cast! (Plus all the other stuff, as well.)

Brian Rogers of TV.com recently spoke with Jake T. Austin about the expo:
I was at the D23 Expo a few months back and the crowd really went crazy for the Wizards cast. Were you surprised at the size of the crowd and their reaction? I was! I’m not that loyal and dedicated to anything, so it’s a foreign concept. [laughs] But it’s such an amazing feeling to see all these people who know more about me than I know about myself. You kind of go on auto-pilot and don’t know what to say when a crowd is that kind.

Sonny With a Chance: Season 2

As obsessive fans know :), SWAC began filming season two last November. Over at the SWAC forum, we where hopeful that Disney would push the first few episodes to air sooner than they normally would due to the delay of filming caused by Camp Rock 2. But despite the obvious tie in with StarStruck and the fact that they're running low on new episodes of all their shows, it looks like the second season will still air as originally expected, this spring. Ali (AKA demistylesource) recently revived the following response from Disney Channel's press department:
We have not yet released the premiere date for season 2, but it will be this Spring. You can go to our Medianet website (www.disneychannelmedianet.com) for photos and info about the show. Thanks.

Hannah Montana Season Four

Well, it's official. Production begins on Hannah Montana season four this Monday. This final season is intended to give a proper ending to the series, and bring the series to a total of 101 episodes. The current season three is scheduled to end this March, so there will likely be a several month gap between the end of the third season and the beginning of the fourth.   Official press release follows:

I'm excited to see production resuming, but the sad thing is that Emily's concert tour is at an end.
