Camp Rock 2 News!

Well, we finally have an official Camp Rock 2 Press release. It sounds like they're gonna release the Soundtrack more than a month in advance of the movie! And for some reason, they're holding back the actual movie premiere until the end of summer. I thought it was supposed to be the start of Summer movie? Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of Demi Lovato and Meaghan Martin. :) Official press release follows:

All the Camp Rockers have returned, eager to tune up and rock out. Nobody's more excited than Mitchie, who anticipates more than a summer of music. Fresh from a world tour, the rock band Connect 3 are hanging all summer - Shane to pursue last summer's crush on Mitchie, his band mates as moral support. Guitar legend Brown Cesario, Camp Rock's owner, is ready to rock 'n roll. But all is not copasetic at this rocking teen paradise. Across the lake glistens the new Camp Star: a high-tech, big-money music camp funded by Brown's former band mate-with-a-grudge, Axel Turner. Down-to-earth Camp Rock may have passion, talent and commitment, but Camp Star boasts resources, infrastructure and money -- enough money to poach Camp Rock's counselors and put Camp Rock out of business. But Axel isn't counting on a natural born leader named Mitchie, who vows to save her beloved camp and her friends' summer. Clipboard in hand, she organizes the older Camp Rockers into counselors and keeps the camp running. Then Mitchie steps it up again… by challenging the egocentric Camp Star to a Final Jam -- an end-of-summer performance duel… may the best camp win. It is based on characters created by Karin Gist, Regina Hicks, Julie Brown and Paul Brown. The director and co-producer is DGA Award winner Paul Hoen (Disney Channel's "The Cheetah Girls One World" and "Jump In"). The producer is Kevin Lafferty and the executive producer is Alan Sacks. "Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam" is a production of Coin Flip Productions, Ltd and Alan Sacks Productions.

My third Good Luck Charlie filming!

Yes, you heard me right, I went to another Good Luck Charlie filming! Yesterday (04/09/10) was the filming for episode #124 "Pushing Buttons."

Good Luck Charlie Autographs

This show is amazingly well written, and the cast is amazing. In this newest episode, Teddy writes and produces a video about an important day in her life using kids in her drama class - and her mom. Meanwhile, PJ and his Best friend Emmett have girl problems and Gabe wants a new bike. I almost didn't get in. The main audience area filled up sooner than expected (eight people came out of literally nowhere ahead of me) but they had some room for a few people in what looked like an overflow area, but was really more of the "lounge" for the family of the cast! Jason Dolley, Micah Williams, and Bradley Perry where hanging out between takes like four feet from where I was sitting. Carmen, the actress who played the Emmit's girlfriend and her mom where sitting right behind me. I even saw Eric Kramer talking with his wife in the back. It wasn't an ordinary filming, that's for sure! Of course, I made sure to ask the cast members if they had a chance to check out my fansite Good-Luck-Charlie.com and they all said that they had. Even Jason Dolley! :) Simply put, this is an amazing show. I hope you've all checked it out. The pilot got an astounding 5.7 million viewers last Sunday, so I'm sure many of you did! And be sure to tune in this Sunday for another new episode! :) Edit: I don't know what happened in the comments. "Never mind" apparently wants to see a Good Luck Charlie porno or something. While I'm sure there will be a DCOM at some point, I have a feeling he'll be disappointed with that too. LOLz

Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures

Wow, this year is looking like it's going to be a busy one for Ashley Tisdale! Aly tweeted earlier today that her and Ashley are leaving for Hellcats filming in Vancouver on Sunday. And now we know that Tizz is filming a new Sharpay spinoff movie this summer. But not only is she staring, she's also an executive producer. So she's gonna make some really good money on this project. :)
SHARPAY EVANS IS BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT IN "SHARPAY'S FABULOUS ADVENTURE," A DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE SLATED FOR A 2011 PREMIERE ON DISNEY CHANNEL -- Ashley Tisdale Stars and Executive-Produces -- The irrepressible diva Sharpay Evans, recent graduate of East High School, seizes the spotlight in "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure," a Disney Channel Original Movie scheduled to begin production this summer for a 2011 premiere. The incomparable Ashley Tisdale will reprise the role she made so popular in the "High School Musical" TV movies and feature film. Tisdale will also serve as executive producer of the movie which was written by Robert Horn (producer of Broadway's "13" and writer/producer of "Designing Women"). Barry Rosenbush and Bill Borden (both of the "High School Musical" movies) will also serve as executive producers of the movie. In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: "In 'Sharpay,' Ashley Tisdale brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters we’ve seen in years. This movie captures the absolutely perfect next chapter in Sharpay’s life, as she tries to cultivate the humanity buried, deep, deep within her - a challenging and hilarious endeavor." Aspiring thespian Sharpay Evans, who was once a big, fabulous fish in a small pond (a man-made pond at a resort country club that her father owns), is finally about to meet her destiny on Broadway, and luckily, theater lighting highlights her hair and skin tone beautifully. Her big break comes after a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, and now there’s not a marquee big enough or lights bright enough to contain the glorious fame she plans on having. Sharpay and Boi head to New York, but theatre is a dog eat dog world, and nothing turns out as Sharpay expects, especially when she meets her match in a rather daunting Broadway starlet (who arrived in Midtown Manhattan as a recent winner of "So You Think You’re America’s Most Talented Performing Idol"). The Great White Way is all Sharpay's ever dreamed of, especially since she already has everything else. Life in the big city is a shock, but there's an even bigger bombshell when Sharpay finally realizes the Broadway role is really for Boi, not her. Putting her disappointment aside, she sets out to make Boi the most fabulous canine star to hit the stage, with the hope that his fame will become her fame (after all, she is his entourage and she holds the leash). Before long, Sharpay makes a new friend in a student filmmaker, Callem, who finds her to be a fascinating subject. Meanwhile, Boi finds puppy love on a Big Apple adventure of his own.

Shakira Guest Stars on Wizards in April!

We already know about the Good Luck Charlie premiere on April 4th, and the new SWAC on April 11th. We we now know that Disney has another night of premieres planned for April 16th, with the kick off event being a special Wizards of Waverly Place episode guest staring Shakira!
Two-time Grammy and seven-time Latin Grammy Award-winning artist Shakira and comedian Jeff Garlin guest star in a new episode of the hit comedy series, "Wizards of Waverly Place," during Disney Channel's popular programming event, "Night of Premieres," FRIDAY, APRIL 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT). The evening also includes new episodes of the hit series "The Suite Life On Deck," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Phineas and Ferb" and the Disney XD comedy "I'm In The Band." The schedule for FRIDAY, APRIL 16 is as follows: "The Suite Life On Deck" (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) • "Rock the Kasbah" – While docked in Morocco, the shipmates go shopping at the famed Kasha, where Zack insists Cody try his hand at haggling with a shop owner. Meanwhile, London, Bailey, Marcus and Woody discover what they believe to be a magic lamp and meet a genie who offers to grant wishes, causing the friends to argue over which wish should be granted. "Wizards of Waverly Place" (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) • "Dude Looks Like Shakira" - Alex, Justin and Max are shocked to discover that their Uncle Kelbo (Jeff Garlin) has transformed into international music sensation Shakira after he failed to follow the Main Eleven Wizards Rules. "Phineas and Ferb" (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) • "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers" – After an all night sci-fi movie marathon, Candace is convinced that Ferb is an alien and she gathers evidence to prove it. The boys admit to doing something alien-esque, and Candace becomes increasingly frustrated when her plan to bust her brothers is compromised by the alien disguised as someone else in the family. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is trying to sell an evil "-inator," ostensibly as a cleaning device. • "Ain't No Kiddie Ride" – Phineas and Ferb decide to trick out the kiddie rides in front of the Tri-State Mart. Determined to bust them, Candace sits in a rocket ride so it can't go anywhere until Mom shows up, but the rocket launches and Candace flies across Danville. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans to leave behind a legacy by burning his name into the atmosphere using his ozone "deplete-inator." "I'm In The Band" (9:30 -10:00 p.m., ET/PT) • "Annoying Arlene" – Tripp takes his annoying classmate, Arlene Roca, on a date after he discovers her dad is a famous record producer. He gives her an Iron Weasel demo CD for her dad, but realizes it has the song "Annoying Arlene" on it. Now Tripp, Derek, Burger and Ash must find a way to retrieve it.
The premise for the I'm In The Band episode sounds rather interesting, actually. I'll have to check that out. :)

Hannah Montana Seasons 3 & 4

This past Sunday's special Hannah Montana episode was the original series finale.

Thank goodness Miley realized that this ending was forced and that she asked Disney for a fourth season.

Of course, this new fourth season is only half of a regular season, but it looks like they're using the few episodes they have to properly cap off the existing story lines. For example, we know Cody Linley's character Jake Ryan returns to Hannah Montana in the final season.

Big News about Good Luck Charlie!

We've known for a little while that Good Luck Charlie is set to premiere on April 4th immediately following the premiere of High School Musical 3.

But now we know that Disney is going to offer a "free preview" (the whole episode?) on iTunes this Friday! And the entire episode will be on Disney on Demand two weeks from today. We've also learned that the title song is called "Hang In There Baby" by Bridgit Mendler. I've actually heard it once before, but everyone was so noisy I could hear much except the beat. LOL And then on the Monday after the show premieres, they're gonna offer a second new episode exclusively online. It's a little different than how they've premiered shows before. With more emphasis on building buzz and using technology. It'll probably work, but sometimes I think they're just making things unnecessarily complicated. I mean, just show the dang episode! LOL Anyway, here's a new promo (three whole minutes!) for the series. Most of the scenes are from the first episode, but there are a few scenes (like the photoshoot) that I haven't seen before! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiSYyJwQwvU Anyway, the official Disney press release follows:

Sonny Season Two – Sunday!

Is everyone excited for the Sonny with a Chance Season Two premiere Sunday night?

Sonny with a Chance Billboard

Disney really seems to be pushing the series, I can't recall any other DC season premiere getting a billboard in LA. I posted an overview of the first episode "Walk A Mile In My Pants" last month, and I invite you all to join us at the Sonny Fan forum to discuss the episode tomorrow night!

Wizards Season Three Wraps Production

Well, it looks like Wizards season three is finished or at least winding down. @AlexKade13 was on the set yesterday for an exclusive filming set up for her by Creator Todd Greenwald himself. She says of the episode they shot: "Todd specifically told us not to say anything about the ep since it's the season finale, in particular." Then today, Selena tweeted a picture of their "last table read of season 3.... :(" But, if they filmed the episode yesterday, why the table read today? That seems backward. Maybe she meant to say it was yesterday? Either that or there's one more episode after the one Alex saw yesterday. Anyway, we're pretty sure that the show has been renewed for a fourth season. Todd just tweeted a picture with the caption: "Relax everybody. Now you can go back to not doing your homework. ;)" Selena added: "P.s. Wizards is not over. We'll be back :)" Which I guess is as close to a confirmation of a renewal as we're likely to get. For this reason, we will be suspending the Save Wizards campaign until further notice. And if something changes, we'll be ready and waiting.
