And amazingly, not only did she remember me, she remembered both my name and my websites! Among other things, I asked her how many SWAC episodes are left to film (four) and congratulated her on her engagement.
Her SWAC co-star Sterling Knight was there too! I got a pic with him and asked him a question on behalf of the girls of the SWAC forum.

Maybe I have a future as a talk show host. LOL
Finally, All Star Weekend preformed - minus lead singer Zach (Or is it Zac? Zack? I dunno)
Breaking news! Disney has just picked up a new live action series scheduled to premiere this fall!
Which, honestly, is kinda surprising. They're going to begin filming in July, which doesn't give them very much time before they intend to start airing the show.
Considering Disney's obsession with musical and performance shows, it's no surprise they'd take an interest in a dance show. I'm just a little surprised at how brazen they are about it in this show.
Anyway, the Official Disney Press Release follows:
DISNEY CHANNEL ORDERS NEW DANCE-FILLED
BUDDY COMEDY SERIES, "SHAKE IT UP!"
Disney Channel has ordered "Shake It Up!," a buddy comedy centered around a teen dance show, created by Chris Thompson ("Laverne and Shirley," "Bosom Buddies," "The Naked Truth," "Action") and executive-produced by Thompson and Rob Lotterstein ("The War at Home," "Ellen"). It stars 12-year-old Bella Thorne ("Big Love") and 13-year-old Zendaya. The multi-camera series will begin production in Hollywood, California, in July for a scheduled Fall 2010 premiere on Disney Channel. The announcement was made today by Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide.
Marsh said, "Newcomers Bella Thorne and Zendaya make for one of the most likable and engaging BFF duos we’ve ever seen. And while buddy comedies have been around since the start of television, what makes 'Shake It Up' unique is that this is the first time anyone has incorporated dancing into the underlying premise of a sitcom."
The comedy series introduces two high-spirited characters, best friends CeCe Jones and Raquel "Rocky" Blue, whose dreams of becoming professional dancers are realized when they become background dancers on the most popular teen dance show, "Shake it Up, Chicago," a gig they land thanks to their longtime and well-connected friend, Deuce. Between learning a wide range of new dance styles, navigating the backstage antics at the show (especially with their rivals, Tinka and Gunther) and their newfound social status at school, the girls are on their way to new and fun adventures, some that will test their friendship.
Starring are Bella Thorne as CeCe Jones; Zendaya as Raquel "Rocky" Blue; Kenton Duty ("Lost") as Gunther; Adam Irigoyen ("Wizards of Waverly Place") as Deuce; and Davis Cleveland ("Good Luck Charlie," "Desperate Housewives") as Flynn Jones, CeCe's precocious younger brother. The series was created by Chris Thompson and will be executive-produced by Rob Lotterstein and Thompson. Rosero McCoy ("Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam") choreographed the pilot episode. "Shake It Up!" is a production of It's a Laugh Productions, Inc.

Well, it looks like disney is accelerating the production of DCOMs again. They've just announced another one, Lemonade Mouth, based on the book from Mark Peter Hughes.
Official Disney Press Release Follows:
PATRICIA RIGGEN SET TO DIRECT "LEMONADE MOUTH,"
A MUSIC-DRIVEN DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE
Award-winning film director Patricia Riggen, who directed the critically acclaimed "La Misma Luna" (aka "Under the Same Moon") and this week presents her short film, "Revolución" at Critics’ Week in Cannes, will direct the music-driven "Lemonade Mouth," a Disney Channel Original Movie.
The "Lemonade Mouth" script was written by April Blair based on the popular novel by Mark Peter Hughes. Executive-produced by Debra Martin Chase ("Just Wright," "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," Disney Channel's "The Cheetah Girls" movies), it will begin production in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in July.
In making the announcement, Ms. Martin Chase said: "Having Patricia at the helm of this movie is a dream come true for me and a testament to the climate Disney Channel creates for a flow of new ideas, interesting talent, creative risk-taking and willingness to explore new areas -- all essential for our business."
A native of Guadalajara, Ms. Riggen worked as a newspaper journalist in Mexico, then as a photographer, before moving to New York City to attend Columbia University's Masters Film program, where she pursued her interests in screenwriting, producing and directing. Her first documentary was 2002's "La Milpa," followed by 2004's "Family Portrait," which won the Short Filmmaking Award at Sundance and the Best Documentary Award at the Aspen Film Festival.
Riggen's "La Misma Luna" premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and was quickly acquired for worldwide distribution by Fox Searchlight and The Weinstein Company. It was released theatrically as "Under the Same Moon" in March 2008, setting records for a Spanish language film opening in the U.S. It is the third-highest grossing Mexican film of all time in the U.S. and the fifth in its own country.
Casting is underway for "Lemonade Mouth," a script about five teens from different walks of life who meet in detention and go on to form the greatest high school garage band ever. The ensemble features Olivia on vocals, Stella on electric guitar, Wen on keyboards, Charlie on percussion and Mohini on bass guitar, and their wide-ranging music, from pop to rock and hip hop to soul, ultimately brings them together as friends and inspires their classmates to speak up and be heard.
The over 80 titles in the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise are the ratings success stories around the world. In the U.S., across all basic cable, the DCOM franchise has produced basic cable's #1 movie with Kids 6-11 and/or Tweens from 2002-09 ("Cadet Kelly," "The Cheetah Girls," "Halloweentown High," "Twitches," "The Cheetah Girls 2," "High School Musical 2," "Camp Rock" and "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie," respectively).
We already know that Disney has renamed JONAS to JONAS LA.
Last week (05/06/10) Nicole Anderson let us know via Twitter that they've wrapped the season.
That's a wrap. Season 2, it was a pleasure working with you. Wow.
So, any thoughts on season three? LOL
I guess Nicole and Chelsea are unemployed now.
Okay, that's not true. Nicole still has a role on ABC Family's Make it or Break It. It's the only ABC Family show I watch (hot girls in lotards? heck yeah. ;) ) that hasn't been cancelled.
And Chelsea Staub has that new Fish Hooks cartoon. Overly Dramatic Goldfish FTW!
Anyway, here's to another season of a show with exactly two good parts ;)
So it looks Debby Ryan's 16 Wishes is gonna be the Summer kickoff DCOM. Its a familiar premise, be careful what you wish for, but from what we've seen already, I think they've done a pretty good job on it.
Plus I think Debby's amazing, so I'll enjoy it no matter what. ;)
Official Disney press release follows:

They changed the name! The series formerly JONAS is now JONAS L.A. - Wow. That's definitely gonna fix everything. LOL
Disney has a lot banking on this series and on the JoBros in general.
It looks like they really are shaking things up for the second season; ditching the sets of the first and filming the entire second season on location in LA.
I wouldn't hold my breath for season three...
Disney Press Release follows:
KEVIN, JOE AND NICK SET OUT FOR A SUMMER OF FUN IN THE CITY
OF ANGELS WITH THE SEASON PREMIERE OF "JONAS L.A.,"
SUNDAY, JUNE 20 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
New Jonas Brothers music, a new So-Cal setting and a new serialized comedy format mark Season Two of the Teen Choice Award-winning series "JONAS," newly named "JONAS L.A.," premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It stars pop culture superstars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. The Jonas Brothers also star in the short-form series "Jonas Brothers Living the Dream 2," which gives viewers unprecedented access to their lives on stage and off during their European tour, and in the contemporary movie musical, "Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam," premiering Friday, September 3 on Disney Channel.
For its first season, "JONAS" was TV's #1 program among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and was cable's #1 program in Total Viewers (3.4 million) in its Sunday time period. For 2009, it was in cable's Top 10 programs among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.
The "JONAS L.A." episodes showcase music performances and fuse clever comedy with an authentic portrayal of a band of brothers navigating new waters. Recurring guest stars include Debi Mazar, Adam Hicks, Abby Pivaronas and Beth Crosby and fan favorites Rob Feggans and Frankie Jonas.
For Season Two, the production has gone stage-less and is produced entirely on location around Los Angeles. New executive producers Lester Lewis (Emmy winner, "The Office") and Paul Hoen ("Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam") have joined in on the fun, as "JONAS L.A." takes each of the three brothers in different directions and brings them back together for a chorus of fun.
The all-new 13-song soundtrack includes "L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)," "Chillin' in the Summertime" and "Your Biggest Fan."
The second season of fun delves into individual storylines as Kevin, Joe and Nick – and their security chief, Big Man – are fresh off their world concert tour and ready for a summer vacation in a rental house high atop the Hollywood Hills. As they begin their left coast adventure, two familiar faces, Stella and Macy, join them and wind up sharing a nearby guesthouse with Stella's aunt Lisa. Now, the five friends take off on a summer of fun, especially after they meet their gregarious neighbor, DZ.
Despite months of anticipation, Joe and Stella encounter detours on the road to "Joella," mainly since he's met free-spirited actress Vanessa Page, who's helping him pursue his acting ambition. After auditioning in a room filled with "Joes," he lands a role in Vanessa's new movie, and their mercurial working relationship quickly spurs rumors of "Jonessa." While on the movie set, Kevin gets his long sought chance to learn film directing, and manages to steer around the abrasive manner of his mentor, famed director Mona Klein. Meanwhile, Nick writes new songs for the band and is pleasantly surprised by his growing friendship with Macy, which makes him want to prove he's more than just a world famous rock star.
"JONAS L.A." stars Kevin Jonas as Kevin Lucas, Joe Jonas as Joe Lucas, Nick Jonas as Nick Lucas, Chelsea Staub (Disney Channel's "StarStuck") as Stella Malone and Nicole Anderson (ABC Family's "Make It or Break It") as Macy Misa. Recurring guest stars are Debi Mazar ("Entourage") as Mona Klein, Adam Hicks (of Disney XD's "Zeke and Luther") as DZ, Abby Pivaronas ("Lincoln Heights") as Vanessa Page, Rob Feggans as Big Man, Frankie Jonas as Frankie Lucas, and Beth Crosby ("All My Children") as Aunt Lisa.
"JONAS L.A." is executive-produced by Lester Lewis and Paul Hoen. The series was created by Roger S.H. Schulman and Michael Curtis. The series is an It's A Laugh Production in association with Disney Channel. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.
Last week I was fortunate enough to snag stand by tickets for last Friday's live studio filming for The Suite Life on Deck. I had heard that On Deck was the hardest DC show to get into (not counting Hannah, 'cause that one's impossible) so I was ecstatic just to have the opportunity!
At the Wizards filming I learned the importance of getting there early. And for On Deck I was determined to get there as early as possible. Me and my Mom got there at one, and we where the first ones there! I was shocked. As it turned out, only five stand by people showed up, and they actually had room for about 15 at last weeks show.
The episode I saw filmed was called "The Ghost and Mr. Martin" and it is part of season three. In this episode, the ship is docked in New Orleans and the cast is dressed in 1800s period costumes for a ball on the deck. London and Bailey are attempting to help Mr. Moseby overcome his fear of preforming in public. Meanwhile, Zach, Cody, and Woody are attempting to find and communicate with the ghost Captain that's haunting Zach.
The SLOD set is unlike any other I've seen. The ship's sky-deck set filled the entire stage in front of our audience area. All other scenes on other sets where pre-filmed and shown to us on the monitors. Combined with the other supplemental sets, On Deck probably has the largest set of any DC Show.
As a result, we only had two scenes to film, but they where nine and ten page scenes! So there where many takes and resets back to back. There where a variety of other supplemental shots for special effects (as I mentioned before, there is a ghost), and some other special effects involving Woody. From start to finish, it took four and a half hours! By the end it was starting to get a little crazy on set!
"Wow, this is a great take. I don't even remember the beginning! ... We're all delirious and we want to go home" - Dylan Sprouse
"You're Not Helping!" - Phill Lewis
"But Cosby impression did?" - Assistant Producer
At 9:25, they wrapped the last supplemental shots and practically threw us all out! Apparently union rules required them to have the audience physically outside the building by 9:30. I tell ya, SAG has a lot weird rules! LOL. Obviously, we didn't have time for an autograph session, which was a disappointment. I have met Debby before, but I really did want to meet Phill and Brenda, plus ask the cast and crew if they want to do another season or if they're happy if season three is the end (which it probably will be). Because we wouldn't have time to get autographs, they gave us these presigned script covers:
I would have loved to meet everyone, but I'm not complaining. I feel very blessed to have been able to go and see the show filmed. I mean, I got to see Debby dance around and lip-sync to Justin Beiber in a period dress! I watched as Brenda and Debby where literally eating the set between takes! And I learned why the director doesn't take Matthew Timmons (Woody) seriously - "Because you're covered in gelatin!" :)
I learned a couple spoilers as well (highlight to read) => Doc Shaw's character Marcus Little was written off the show. Also, Cody and Bailey break up. <= Unfortunately, both hose things happened in episodes prior to the one I saw, so they're only refrenced and that's all I know about them. Oh, and Debby's favorite costume was her Naomi Wyoming pop-star outfit, which I also thoroughly enjoyed. :)
And after she wrapped up her show at 9, I ran over to Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland for a few hours before they closed.
I actually ended up getting stuck on the Indiana Jones ride, but that's another story.
Anyway, as I passed the ticket booths, I looked at the movie posters they had up, as I always do. But this time, I saw a Sonny with a Chance poster!
I know we've seen that graphic before, but I still think it was really cool that they're actually promoting the show at the park. I can't recall them ever doing that for any DC series.
