Phineas and Ferb is apparently gonna go Wizard of Oz on us. LOL

Mason (in wolf and later human form) returns to Wizards of Waverly Place in an hour long special.

Sonny with a Chance has a new Halloween special (so does Suite Life on Deck but Disney's not talking about that yet). I guess it's time to pull out the Halloween supplies and get ready for the big night!

The I'm in the Band and Suite Life on Deck crossover is finally confirmed! This should be interesting. :)

Gregg Sulkin's Avalon High should be... uh... interesting?

The JONAS LA season finale is nearing. And it looks like Joella might actually happen. Or not. Who knows with those two.

Oh, and the government finds out about wizards. That explains the guys in moon suits. Although I'm not sure how that protects them from magic... LOL

Anyway, looks like we're in for an interesting fall! :)

Phineas and Ferb – Summer Belongs to You

Wow, I didn't realize Phineas and Ferb had hit 100 episodes! I mean, having mostly half length episodes helps, but it's still pretty impressive. To celebrate, Disney is premiering two special new episodes including guest stars Chaka Khan, Clay Aiken, Seth MacFarlane, and Kevin Smith. That's right, Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane is gonna be on Phineas and Ferb! Not only are his shows about as Anti-Disney as one can imagine, his own personal history with the company is such that I'm amazed both that he as asked and that he accepted! CHAKA KHAN, CLAY AIKEN, SETH MACFARLANE AND KEVIN SMITH GUEST STAR ON "PHINEAS AND FERB," AS NOTEWORTHY AND AMUSING EPISODES DEBUT IN AUGUST ON DISNEY XD AND DISNEY CHANNEL With a 100 episodes and counting, the Emmy Award-winning series "Phineas and Ferb" continues to roll out with new and thoroughly amusing stories for kids, tweens and families. In August, the hit animated comedy, increasingly renowned for its smart humor and noteworthy guest stars, will present two new episodes featuring the legendary recording artist Chaka Khan, multi-Platinum selling singer Clay Aiken ("American Idol"), Emmy-winning animator/writer Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy") and filmmaker Kevin Smith ("Clerks"). The series was created and is executive-produced by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh ("The Simpsons," "Family Guy"). A one-hour episode entitled "Summer Belongs to You" premieres MONDAY, AUGUST 2 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD and Friday, August 6 on Disney Channel. As the story goes, it's the summer solstice and, because it's the longest day of the year, stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb decide to travel around the world in one day. But not everyone believes they can actually achieve what they've set out to do, leading them to get some encouraging words, in the form of a duet, from Clay Aiken and Chaka Khan. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz takes a father-daughter trip to Tokyo with Vanessa. Music from the episode will Planet Premiere on Radio Disney Monday, July 26 through Monday, August 2, and will be released by Walt Disney Records on Tuesday, August 3 at online retailers. Songs on the digital album are: "I Believe We Can," performed by Clay Aiken and Chaka Khan, "J Pop" (Welcome to Tokyo), performed by Stacy's cousins, "Rubber Bands," performed by Uncle Sabu & Co., "Bouncin' Around the World," performed by Love Händel, "City of Love," performed by Isabella, "Summer Belongs to You," performed by Phineas, Isabella and Candace, "Follow the Sun," performed by Danny Jacob, and "The Ballad of Klimpaloon," performed by Love Händel. Their plan gets sidetracked when they’re swept into a duel between fantasy fans and sci-fi geeks. Meanwhile, Candace tries to keep secret that she's a fan of Ducky Mo-Mo, another convention staple. Across the convention hall, Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken television executive Jeff McGarland hostage so he can pitch him a show he's developed, "Doof 'N' Puss." The episode premieres MONDAY, AUGUST 16 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD and Friday, August 27 on Disney Channel. Shakira Guest Stars on Wizards in April!

We already know about the Good Luck Charlie premiere on April 4th, and the new SWAC on April 11th. We we now know that Disney has another night of premieres planned for April 16th, with the kick off event being a special Wizards of Waverly Place episode guest staring Shakira!

Two-time Grammy and seven-time Latin Grammy Award-winning artist Shakira and comedian Jeff Garlin guest star in a new episode of the hit comedy series, "Wizards of Waverly Place," during Disney Channel's popular programming event, "Night of Premieres," FRIDAY, APRIL 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT). The evening also includes new episodes of the hit series "The Suite Life On Deck," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Phineas and Ferb" and the Disney XD comedy "I'm In The Band." The schedule for FRIDAY, APRIL 16 is as follows: "The Suite Life On Deck" (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) • "Rock the Kasbah" – While docked in Morocco, the shipmates go shopping at the famed Kasha, where Zack insists Cody try his hand at haggling with a shop owner. Meanwhile, London, Bailey, Marcus and Woody discover what they believe to be a magic lamp and meet a genie who offers to grant wishes, causing the friends to argue over which wish should be granted. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is trying to sell an evil "-inator," ostensibly as a cleaning device. • "Ain't No Kiddie Ride" – Phineas and Ferb decide to trick out the kiddie rides in front of the Tri-State Mart. Determined to bust them, Candace sits in a rocket ride so it can't go anywhere until Mom shows up, but the rocket launches and Candace flies across Danville. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans to leave behind a legacy by burning his name into the atmosphere using his ozone "deplete-inator." "I'm In The Band" (9:30 -10:00 p.m., ET/PT) • "Annoying Arlene" – Tripp takes his annoying classmate, Arlene Roca, on a date after he discovers her dad is a famous record producer. He gives her an Iron Weasel demo CD for her dad, but realizes it has the song "Annoying Arlene" on it. Now Tripp, Derek, Burger and Ash must find a way to retrieve it.

The premise for the I'm In The Band episode sounds rather interesting, actually. I'll have to check that out. :)

New Phineas and Ferb Monday!

Remember that March DC Highlights post? One thing I realized when I wrote it was that there where no new Phineas and Ferb episodes. Well, it looks like they wanted to premiere the new episode on Disney XD instead. Makes sense, I guess.

BEN STILLER AND CHRISTINE TAYLOR GUEST STAR IN A SUPERHERO EPISODE OF "PHINEAS AND FERB," PREMIERING MONDAY, MARCH 8 ON DISNEY XD Emmy Award-winning Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor guest star in an action-packed episode of TV's #1 animated series for kids and tweens, "Phineas and Ferb," premiering MONDAY, MARCH 8 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. It will also be presented Friday, March 12 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The real-life husband and wife are the parents of "Phineas and Ferb" fans. In the episode entitled "The Beak," Stiller voices a super villain and Taylor plays his nagging wife. Stiller's character arrives in Danville to challenge Phineas and Ferb after the boys are mistaken as a superhero (while wearing an indestructible suit they designed to safely conquer their newly built extreme skate-track) known as The Beak. With the super villain wreaking havoc, it's up to Phineas and Ferb to thwart him while Dr. Doofenshmirtz tells the people of the Tri-State area that he is in charge, in hopes that they will actually just go along with it. "Phineas and Ferb" airs on Disney XD and Disney Channels in more than 135 countries and in 26 languages around the world. In the U.S., "Phineas and Ferb" has ranked as TV’s #1 animated series among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 for two consecutive years. In addition, "Phineas and Ferb" is Disney XD’s #1 animated series in key demos. The series carries a TV-G parental guideline.

Disney Channel’s “Night of Premieres” is Back!

Disney Channel’s “Night of Premieres” is back and this time it features a two part Phineas and Ferb, The Suite Life on Deck and the movie Meet the Robinsons. A new, two-part time travel back-to-the-future episode of the hit animated series "Phineas and Ferb," guest starring Jennifer Stone ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Moises Arias ("Hannah Montana") and Jennifer Grey ("Dirty Dancing"), kicks off Disney Channel’s Night of Premieres on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 (8:00–11:00 p.m., ET/PT). The lineup includes a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," a sneak peek clip from an upcoming "The Suite Life on Deck" one-hour special entitled "Lost at Sea," and the network premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature film, "Meet the Robinsons." In "Phineas and Ferb’s Quantum Boogaloo" (8:00–8:30 p.m., ET/PT), Phineas and Ferb travel to the future to find a tool that hasn’t been invented yet.
