Mason returns to Waverly place in a very special one hour special. The original title of this episode was "Alex and Mason's Puppy Love." Then they started calling it "Wizards Unleashed" in the early promos, and now they're calling it "Alex Saves Mason."

OSCAR CREATES A FAKE GIRLFRIEND AND MILO'S ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM BACKFIRES IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1 ON DISNEY CHANNEL -- Tiffany Thornton ("Sonny With A Chance") Guest Stars -- "Doris Flores Gorgeous" – Oscar creates a fake girlfriend, Doris Flores Gorgeous (played by Tiffany Thornton), when he thinks everyone else at Freshwater High is dating, but things go wrong when Bea and Milo want to visit her in Fish Niagara Falls, forcing Oscar to see just how far he's willing to go with his lie. "Underwater Boy" – Milo's fame-seeking attempt to make the school football team lands him a position as water boy. PHINEAS AND FERB BUILD A LIFE SIZED MAZE AND MOM BREAKS OUT HER POP-STAR ALTER EGO, LINDANA, IN A NEW EPISODE OF "PHINEAS AND FERB," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "We Call It Maze" – Phineas and Ferb create a life sized maze filled with fun obstacles. Melissa, the leader of the Little Sparks, a younger branch of the Fireside Girls, is immediately captivated when she meets Candace and finds out that she was a Fireside Girl who earned 50 patches in one day. When the girls try out the maze, Candace takes charge, but things don’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz reasons that if the Leaning Tower of Pisa can generate souvenir revenue, then surely he can use his latest invention, the "Tilt-inator," to tilt buildings so he can sell souvenir replicas. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Max Modem" – When Linda is asked to do a Lindana reunion concert, Lawrence worries that she might be missing the excitement of her old life, so he asks the boys to help turn him into a pop star so that he can perform at the concert and show mom he too is an exciting guy. Across town, Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans a faux alien invasion in order to take over the Tri-State area. A new Hannah, I wonder how many we have left. It can't be very many.

She starts to doubt herself until popular recording artist Iyaz overhears it and wants to record it as a duet. Meanwhile, Jackson and Rico compete over who can grow a better moustache, in a new episode of "Hannah Montana Forever," premiering SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It's the season finale of JONAS LA, and I sure hope they don't leave it on a cliffhanger.

The Halloween episode of Suite Life on Deck! :) This was the episode I saw filmed, and I can't wait to see the final version of the special effects.

ZACK AND CODY ENCOUNTER NINJAS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Trouble in Tokyo" – When the S.S. Tipton docks in Tokyo, Zack and Cody visit Carey on the set of a Japanese soda commercial. They are only there to observe, but when Zack damages the set, Carey's employer Mr. Hashimoto, forces him and Cody to work as drink tasters to pay their debts. If they want to escape, they'll have to defeat Mr. Hashimoto's ninjas. Meanwhile, Woody enters a sumo wrestling challenge in a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Now this ought to be an interesting new Wizards episode.

After escaping, the family must figure out a way to save themselves and their powers without exposing the wizard world, in a new episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Oscar and Milo get mistaken for Bea's kids? LOLz.
BEA DECIDES TO GROW UP AND GET A JOB IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Bea Becomes an Adult Fish" – Bea decides to grow up and get a job working for Fish Flakes, Inc., but realizes she misses her old carefree life. Meanwhile, Oscar and Milo get mistaken for her children at her office and get sent to daycare with a bunch of baby fish. "Fish Out of Water" – When Milo, wearing his special "land suit," ventures outside the tank alone, Bea and Oscar must risk everything to save him, and all three end up stranded in the pet store to face the wrath of Wilford, the store cat. Now, Milo has to put his selfishness aside to save his friends.
Finally, a new Good Luck Charlie. And even better, G. Hannelius is guest starring again! :)
CHARLIE TAKES CHARGE IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Charlie In Charge" – Gabe is left in charge of Charlie while working on a school project with his frenemy, Jo. The two must work together, not only to complete their assignment, but also to take care of Charlie, whose constant need for attention is distracting them from their project. Meanwhile, Teddy tricks a scared PJ into going to the dentist, but ends up breaking her own tooth in the process. Bob tries to surprise Amy with a spa get-away, but gets called away on an emergency extermination job, in a new episode of "Good Luck Charlie," premiering SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:30–9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Senior Ditch Day? What happened to London being, you know, older than the twins? She's been 17 for the last four years. LOL This show plays so fast and loose with the characters ages.
IT'S SENIOR DITCH DAY IN A NEW EPISODE OF "THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Senior Ditch Day" – Zack, London and Woody go to a posh beach club for senior ditch day, but when the bouncer won't let Woody in, London and Zack go without him. Meanwhile, in an effort to keep their perfect attendance records, Bailey and Cody show up for class, which annoys Ms. Tutweiller who was looking forward to her day off, in a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
A pet dog? Like a real dog or a "dog-fish"? The sleepover episode seems more interesting.
MILO GETS A PET DOG IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Doggonit" – After feeling neglected by Oscar, Milo decides to get a dog, Murphy, to keep him company. When Oscar agrees to watch Murphy, the dog goes missing, and it's up to Oscar to get him back. "Fish Sleepover Party" – Bea decides to have a fun girls-only party, but Milo and Oscar, upset they weren't invited, decide to infiltrate the party (dressed as girls) and spy on everyone. When Bea and the girls realize what Milo and Oscar are up to, they make sure the boys know what it's like to be "one of the girls."
Oh, a new Sonny. And it's a Zora episode. Eh, I guess I'll take what I can get. :)
SONNY PLAYS MATCHMAKER FOR ZORA IN A NEW EPISODE OF "SONNY WITH A CHANCE," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Sonny with 100% Chance of Meddling" – When Sonny discovers that Zora has a crush on the actor who plays young Mackenzie on Mackenzie Falls, she decides to play matchmaker and arranges for a group date. But when he begins to like Sonny instead, she must figure out a way to mend Zora's first broken heart. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady enter the Cell Phone Philm Phestival with Dakota Condor as their star, in a new episode of "Sonny With A Chance," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Eh... this new GLC sounds kinda so-so to me. We'll see how it goes.
NOLAN GOULD ("MODERN FAMILY") GUEST STARS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Sleepless In Denver" – Gabe has his first sleepover with friends Zander, Liam and Jeremy, but things go awry after they watch a scary zombie movie. Meanwhile, Teddy is preparing for the school play, but things don't go according to plan when she falls asleep and Charlie draws all over her face. Charlie also gets her first "big girl" bed but she refuses to sleep in it, in a new episode of "Good Luck Charlie," premiering SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:30–9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
LOL. I guess when it comes to fish, "water boy" would be an important position.
BEA TRIES TO OUTWIT HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO BE CROWNED HOMECOMING QUEEN IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Queen Bea" – Bea fears that she won't be named Homecoming Queen when her classmates learn her parents will be chaperones at the dance. To ensure her win, she enlists Milo and Oscar to create a fake school dance for her parents to chaperone instead, and tries to keep up the charade by going back and forth between the two dances. "Underwater Boy" – Milo's fame-seeking attempt to make the school football team lands him a position as water boy. When the team plays an away game at the gecko tank, Milo realizes the importance of his role and rushes to the game before the team dries up and has to forfeit.
And... that looks like it for October. Wizards and JONAS LA are finishing their seasons and they're really pushing the Fish Hooks.

The Suite Life Movie – It’s Official!

Well, it's official. Disney is making a Suite Life DCOM. There have been rumors of one circulating for a while, but what they've actually come up with sounds very strange to me. Is this how they intend to send the show? I certainly hope not...

PRODUCTION TO BEGIN ON "THE SUITE LIFE MOVIE" FOR DISNEY CHANNEL

Production will begin this month on the thrilling comedy/adventure, "The Suite Life Movie," a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) based on the pair of hit comedy series for the channel -- "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "The Suite Life on Deck" -- starring Dylan Sprouse, Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song, Debby Ryan and Phill Lewis. The movie is set to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel.

"The Suite Life Movie" marks the seventh Disney Channel series to join the blockbuster DCOM franchise. The winning track record includes the most recent title, "Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie," which ranked as 2009's No. 1 scripted cable TV telecast among Total Viewers (13.5 million), and TV's No. 1 telecast among Kids 6-11 (5.32 million), and its No. 1 scripted telecast among Tweens 9-14 (4.64 million).

The writers for "The Suite Life Movie" are Michael Saltzman, who wrote the story for "The Pink Panther" movie and executive-produced "Murphy Brown," and Robert Horn, writer of Broadway's "13," writer/producer of "Designing Women" and writer of Disney Channel's upcoming "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure."

Sean McNamara is directing the movie. He executive-produced the hit series "Even Stevens," for which he also earned two DGA Award nominations, and produced "That's So Raven" for Disney Channel. He also directs the Disney XD series "Zeke and Luther." Pamela Eells O'Connell ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Family Matters"), Irene Dreayer ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Sister, Sister"), Jessica Rhoades ("Den Brother"), Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse are executive producers.

As the story goes, teenage twins Cody and Zack Martin receive an opportunity to participate in the prestigious Gemini Project at a high-tech research center that studies the dynamics between twins. Soon they find themselves connected in a way they've never been before: When one twin experiences a sensation, thought or feeling, the other twin feels it too. While this newfound power helps the boys see eye to eye for the first time, it ultimately puts them in more danger than they could have imagined.

It's about time Disney did one of their behind the scenes specials about Selena. I mean, Jonas has gotten like 3 "making the dream" specials so far. LOL And don't forget that there's a new Wizards tonight. I was at the filming for "Movin' On" so you might even get to hear me laugh if you listen carefully. ;)

"GIRL MEETS WORLD WITH SELENA GOMEZ," ALL NEW THREE-PART SHORT-FORM SERIES, PREMIERES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 ON DISNEY CHANNEL

Teen superstar Selena Gomez lights up the screen in "Girl Meets World with Selena Gomez," a new short-form series that provides viewers insights into Selena's point of view about her life and career and the inspiration she receives from her family and fans. Filmed on location throughout Europe, the special shows Selena performing in concert and recording her second album. It will be presented in three parts FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 (between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

"A Year Without Rain" releases worldwide Tuesday, September 21 on Hollywood Records. The song "Round & Round" from the album is now Gold certified and the #1 song on Radio Disney. Gomez's first album, "Kiss & Tell," debuted in the Billboard Top 10 and is Gold certified. Its big hit, "Naturally," is Platinum certified.

Gomez's breakthrough series, Emmy Award-winning "Wizards of Waverly Place," is currently in its fourth season on Disney Channel. In 2011 she will star in the highly anticipated sequel to the Emmy Award-winning "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie."

"Girl Meets World with Selena Gomez" was executive-produced and directed by Mike Sarkissian and Tim Wheeler (Jonas Brothers "When You Look Me In The Eyes"). It is a production of Three Foot Giant.

My “Final” Thoughts on Camp Rock 2

Well, I know I already gave my general thoughts on Camp Rock 2, but I've been looking forward to re-watching it and I thought I might as well do another of my trademark play by play commentaries.

On review the opening was a little cheesy. A bit too much on the screaming.

I really enjoy the bus flip scene. Seems kinda expensive for a 30 second stunt, but I'm glad they went for it.

...why are they always like, Mitchie, sing right now for our amusement. Or else.

I think "Brand new day" would be better without the change of tempo. It is a very good plot device though.

Is it wrong that loved seeing Shane/Joe fall off the chicken truck? LOL

Beware of kids chanting "bonfire." Nothing good can ever come of that.

I was disappointed that Mitchie helped Shane out of the canoe. I wanted to see him fall in. :P

Are Brown and Connie, like, the only adults at Camp Rock? Connie remembers she's still married, right?

I do love the Camp Star stage.

Soaking wet Kevin with hot chocolate still cracks me up.

They said "bra" on Disney Channel! *gasp* :)

"Fire" is one heck of a song. M-dot is a very impressive performer. ...Still not a "campfire" though. :P

The impossible bracelet fling seems even more preposterous the second time. I didn't realize that was possible!

Dana sure came on kinda strong. And she actually knew they were "forbidden."

Wow... and I thought that Dana/Nate scene was beyond awkward the first time. LOL

Was Luke hitting on Mitchie? Or was he really all business? :/

A controversial break? Boo. Oh, a Shake It Up promo! Coolness. :)

And we jump right to sorry camp's closed? Seems like a rough transition to me. Maybe it was the commercial break.

I don't know about the rest of you, but "Can't back down" fits in the story differently than I thought it would. I thought it happened after they challenge Camp Star ("Let's win this thing"?), but it's actually in response to Brown's lack of staff.

"Now get him" - LOL. I loved that part so much more than I should have.

You can spot the councilors by their clipboards because for some reason they lost their fancy hats. :/

The cut to Shane after "buy tighter pants" was just brilliant.

Nate's a stalker.

Demi should smile more. Or not, I might actually melt if she does it too much. :)

You heard it from Brown, talent and commitment are important, but it's money that makes you look good. So deal with it.

And this is when Mitchie totally goes off the deep end.

I love Mitchie's expression as the water fight breaks out.

You know, those two crazy kids really need to learn how to compromise. Also, if I may, it doesn't look like Mitchie's getting much work done now. She might as well have gone on the stupid picnic date.

I love how they end the song looking at each other, they pause for a minute, and then storm off. LOL

So Shane proves how much he cares by completely sacrificing his own position and out Mitchie-ing Mitchie.

"Heart and Soul" - doesn't suck as much as I would have liked it to.

Mitchie went into Connect 3 fan-girl mode pretty fast there. LOL

Nate really needs to wise up. Or at least say something. "You're just like every other teenage boy in the world" Yep...

And now for Shane and Mitchie's totally random romantic monologue. When did she suddenly get all this free time?

Anything embarrassing on that list of secrets? I guess we'll never know.

"Introducing me" is the stupidest song I have ever heard. Okay, maybe not the worst, but it's in the top ten. The fact that it's Nick's song doesn't make it any better.

Uh oh, Axel caught them! So now nothing will come of it. Wow. LOL

Why take the kids on the spy mission? And why stop and watch in that huge circle of light? :/

And why are they rehearsing the song in the middle of the night? Remember, Camp Rock had already called lights out.

Why are they so excited about it just being Tess and Luke singing? If everyone singing would be better, then why not stick with that? CR's best act doesn't depend on what CS does.

I love how the kids are all, "ewww" when Mitchie hugs them! I remember when girls had cooties. :)

"Thanks, but I'm already booked" - You tell him Brown!

Tess looks so sad. :( Too bad she's still one of the bad guys.

I know they're the the bad guys, but "Tear it Down" is pretty damn awesome. And it's not just Meaghan.

Poor Tess. She's so miserable there. But why couldn't she have figured that out in time to throw the contest?

I don't know about you, but I think "What we came here for" really is the the perfect song for both the competition and the plot of the movie.

And I liked how they made use of those beach balls. ;)

And now all that's left is the increasingly rigged voting.

That scene was just so much to take in. They really pulled it off brilliantly. More thoughts on that below.

Mitchie practically pounces on the boy. Not the kiss I originally expected. :)

Well, the competition is over, so they can finally be themselves. And "This is our Song" actually comes across as the most authentic moment of the movie.

And now it's a party. Good job everyone to showing up at the same time.

Those really where some pretty impressive bloopers at the end.

Okay, I now think the key to a good movie is no commercials. They give you a chance to think of what's wrong with the plot. LOL

But on the whole, this movie stood up to a re-watch very well. Better than I expected, in fact. I stand by my earlier rating of 4.5 out of 5; a solid A- and a very high score for a DCOM.

If I may comment on the ending, which was the one thing I was asked not to discuss before, I just wanted to say that I did not expect this ending at all. Traditional wisdom would have our heroes win outright. I thought they might do some sort of backhanded everyone comes together at the last minute cop-out so no one would have to "lose." I wasn't alone in that thinking, one girl at the screening commented that they should have become "Camp Rock Star."

But I never expected that, as director Paul Hoen put it, Camp rock would "win by losing." In a way, it really put things in perspective. It doesn't matter what "they" think. Stay true to yourself and your friends and it will all work out. That's what makes "This is our song" so meaningful.

Also, I thought you would all like to know that cut off the last second or two of the movie. In the cut we saw at the advance screening you could see the rain storm start as the camera finished pulling back. :)

No lights out at this camp! Disney Channel’s “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” drummed up 8 million Total Viewers in its debut Friday night, ranking as the year’s No. 1 cable movie and TV’s No. 1 movie among Kids 6-11 (3.1 million/12.8 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (3.2 million/13.0 rating).

Geared toward a kid and family audience, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” celebrates musical passion and cool dance moves, and typifies the channel's brand values with its emphasis on teamwork, standing tall for your beliefs and enjoying the journey as well as the goal.

Impressively, based on the average U.S. movie ticket ($7.95), “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’s” equivalent box office sales equal $63.2 million for its premiere night.

• “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” starring Demi Lovato (“Sonny With A Chance”) and the multi-platinum selling recording artists Jonas Brothers, ranked as TV’s No. 1 Labor Day weekend telecast ever among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

• In addition, Disney Channel’s No. 1 telecast of 2010, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” was TV’s
No. 1 scripted Friday telecast in nearly 6 months in Total Viewers (3/12/10, “Numbers,” 8.4 million) and TV’s No. 1 Friday telecast since the debut of “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” among Tweens 9-14 (8/28/09).

• “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” drove Disney Channel to No. 1 among all TV from 8:00-10:00 p.m., defeating its closest broadcast competition by 95% in Total Viewers (8.0 million vs. 4.1 million, ABC), and surpassing Nickelodeon by a massive 539% among Kids 6-11 (3.1 million vs. 485,000) and by 644% among Tweens 9-14 (3.2 million vs. 430,000).

It stars Kyle Massey ("Cory in the House") as Milo, Chelsea Staub ("JONAS L.A.") as Bea and Justin Roiland ("The Sarah Silverman Program") as Oscar. Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie wins an Emmy!

Wizards wins another Emmy, this time for the movie.

The WOWP movie was up against the WOWP series, iCarly, Hannah Montana and JONAS. Some may remember that I was quite puzzled by this nomination. I mean, yes, two nominations are a good thing - but in the same category? I thought it would for sure split the Wizards vote and hand the Emmy to iCarly.

Fortunately, I was wrong. Whew. :)

WITH NEW EPISODE AND PROGRAMMING EVENT, SUNDAY, AUGUST 22

Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" honors military families with a touching episode that includes cameo appearances by real families of the armed services and two new Hannah Montana songs, the heartfelt ballad "Been Here All Along" and the upbeat "I'm Still Good," a performance interspersed with greetings from military families to their deployed loved ones. The "Hannah Montana Forever Family Salute" premieres SUNDAY, AUGUST 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT). Forty special messages from military families will air throughout the evening (8:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) and will be available with the episode at DisneyChannel.com/Salute.

The USO consulted on the storyline for the episode, "Been Here All Along," in which Miley cancels a special father/daughter afternoon so she can go on a first date with Jesse instead. While out with Miley, Jesse takes a phone call from his deployed father and their heartfelt conversation leads Miley to realize just how fortunate she is to have her dad close to home whenever she needs him. So she sets out to make amends with Robby Ray, and to do something special for military families.

Starring are Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, Emily Osment as Lilly Truscott, Jason Earles as Jackson Stewart, Billy Ray Cyrus as Robby Stewart and Moises Arias as Rico.
