Hannah Montana Forever: Final Season DVD

For whatever reason, Disney has decided to release the final season of Hannah Montana on DVD. They had previously released HM Season One but I guess they don't care about seasons two or three?

Sonny With A Chance Promos

I think they're out takes from the photoshoots where we got the "regular" pics, like this next one.

I mean, the differences are subtle, but they're still different poses.

There's quite a few more of just Demi.

According to Brandon Smith, Sonny with a chance will be changing the name title to "So Random" because of Demi Lovato's absence. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4bQDTiXpmw Will Demi be coming back mid season? No clue. I would like to say that without Demi there's no way in hell this show gets a fourth season. I'm not sure it happens even with Demi. But I for onw will watch the show without Demi. I still like Tiffany. :)

MAYHEM ENSUES DURING GAME NIGHT ON THE S.S. TIPTON IN A NEW EPISODE OF "THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK," FRIDAY, MARCH 4 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Snakes on a Boat" – During game night on the S.S. Tipton, Cody learns that he can't make Bailey laugh, and Maya learns that Zack has dated more girls than she thought. Meanwhile, Woody accidentally releases a crate of snakes on the boat, and it's up to him and London to track them all down, in a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," premiering FRIDAY, MARCH 4 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

It sounds like Bailey and Maya will both actually be in the same episode for once!

MILO CHASES AFTER HIS DREAM IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, MARCH 4 ON DISNEY CHANNEL -- George Takei ("Star Trek") Guest Stars –- "Flying Fish" - After Mr. Mussels gives an inspiring speech about going after your dreams, Milo ends up finding his dream in an actual dream … he wants to fly across the pet store! Bea and Oscar are certain that this is just a Milo moment, but realize he's serious after Milo decides to trap a bird (played by George Takei) to fly on. "Fishing For Compliments: The Albert Glass Story" – Everyone at Freshwater High, except Albert Glass, seems to like Bea for the sweet person she is. Bea gets help from Milo and Oscar to help her figure out what it's going to take to get on Albert's good side. Meanwhile, the Swirlies are in town and everyone is trying to get tickets to this toilet bowl roller derby. Albert Glass is voiced by Atticus Shaffer (ABC's "The Middle"). "Fish Hooks" stars Chelsea Kane ("JONAS L.A.") as Bea, Kyle Massey ("Cory in the House") as Milo and Justin Roiland ("The Sarah Silverman Program") as Oscar.

George Takei guest stars on another Disney show? Wow. Popular guy. Also, please notice that they’re formally crediting the former Miss Staub as Chelsea Kane.

JANE LYNCH GUEST STARS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "PHINEAS AND FERB," FRIDAY, MARCH 4 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "The Great Indoors" – Bad weather spoils Isabella's plan to earn a Fireside Girl patch, so Phineas and Ferb build a huge biodome to help her. Meanwhile, Candace works herself into a frenzy when she decides that she needs to find out what Jeremy likes about her. Over at Evil Inc., Dr. Doofenshmirtz is trying to rain out a big soccer game, just so he can watch his favorite Mexican soap opera. "Canderemy" – Candace realizes that she needs to spend more time with Stacey, so she vows to spend the whole day with her only. But while visiting Jeremy and his mom, Mrs. Johnson, Dr. Doofenshmirtz's "combine-inator" zaps her and Jeremy, literally joining them at the hip. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a giant robot dog that causes a lot of mischief. The season three premiere episode of "Phineas and Ferb" airs FRIDAY, MARCH 4 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

The season three premiere of Phineas and Ferb? Wow, it seems like just yesterday they were building that first roller coaster.

EVA AMURRI GUEST STARS AS A GOTH FISH, BLEAK MOLLY, IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "The Dark Side of the Fish" - Oscar shares a sincere poem in class that creeps fellow students out. Feeling misunderstood by Milo and Bea, Oscar decides to become a Goth fish and befriends a group that includes Bleak Molly (played by Eva Amurri). Meanwhile, Milo and Bea fear they are losing Oscar to a different crowd, and try to get their friend back. "Baldwin the Super Fish" - When Milo and Oscar notice some very strange similarities between their teacher Mr. Baldwin and their favorite comic book superhero, they are convinced Mr. Baldwin leads a double life as the super hero. After following him around for a day, Milo decides they have to put themselves in danger in order for Baldwin the super hero to save them, therefore revealing his super hero identity. Meanwhile, Bea has a journalism assignment and follows along to get a great scoop. Kevin McDonald guest stars as Dr. Frog.

Goth fish? Seriously? Oookay….

DANIEL CURTIS LEE GUEST STARS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, MARCH 6 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Let's Potty" – Bob and Amy's plans for Charlie's potty training go awry when she flushes her toys and clogs up the pipes. CECE AND ROCKY MENTOR YOUNG PAGEANT CONTESTANTS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "SHAKE IT UP," SUNDAY, MARCH 6 "Glitz It Up" – Rocky and CeCe choreograph and mentor young contestants in Chicago's Little Cutie Queen Pageant. Meanwhile, Deuce has to win over his crush, Dina's, over-protective father so he can go out with her, in a new episode of "Shake It Up," SUNDAY, MARCH 6 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Young contestants? Are we talking like, 8 or what? CeCe and Rocky are only 13 themselves…

"AMERICA'S GOT TALENT" RUNNER-UP JACKIE EVANCHO SINGS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE," FRIDAY, MARCH 11 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Back to Max" – "America's Got Talent" runner-up Jackie Evancho sings at Tribeca Prep's "Spirit of America Play," giving Harper a run for her money as she takes the stage for the first time. Meanwhile, Alex and Justin have to find a way to change Max back to himself before Professor Crumbs discovers they accidently turned him into a little girl, in a new episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, MARCH 11 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Wizards booked a runner up to sing? They couldn’t even get a winner? Wow. And what’s Harper doing singing anyway? Does Jenn want a music career now too? Oh, and it looks like Max will finally becoming back. It’s about time.

OSCAR HELPS CLAMANTHA FALL IN LOVE IN A NEW EPISODE OF "FISH HOOKS," FRIDAY, MARCH 11 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Two Clams In Love" - When Clamantha's crush on Oscar begins to overwhelm him, he thinks his problems are solved when she develops a crush on his laptop, mistaking it for a fellow clam. When the battery starts to die, Clamantha is upset that her new boyfriend is ignoring her and Oscar must find a way to make things right. "Milo Gets a Ninja" – Milo finds a Siamese fighting fish, and uses it to intimidate Jocktopus and stop him from bullying everyone at school. But with the ninja at his side, Milo becomes hungry for power and eventually turns into the bullier. This episode of Disney Channel's "Fish Hooks," airs FRIDAY, MARCH 11 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT). "Milo Gets a Ninja" originally aired Friday, November 19.

Clams in love? Is this officially stupid plot ideas month or what?

TINA FEY, JANE LYCNCH AND VICKI LAWRENCE GUEST STAR IN A NEW EPISODE OF "PHINEAS AND FERB," FRIDAY, MARCH 11 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Run, Candace, Run" – Phineas and Ferb's newest invention is a pair of boots that make the wearer extraordinarily fast. Candace decides to wear them so that she can be in two places at once; at Jeremy's family picnic, where she runs into Mrs. Johnson, and also at the library where she promised Mom she would read to the kids. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz's building is put up for sale so he tries to convince a prospective buyer, Annabelle, who turns out to be a long lost relative of the family, that it is not worth buying. "Last Train to Bustville" – While visiting their grandparents, the kids decide to create and race a giant hot air balloon. Meanwhile, Candace is inspired by train engineer, Glenda's, can-do attitude and decides to "give up" on busting her brothers. On the other side of town, Dr. Doofenshmirtz finds a Dodo bird egg and is convinced that it is a fierce bird-monster that can help him take over the Tri-state area, but discovers the exact opposite when the egg hatches.

Tina Fey on Phineas and Ferb? This could be interesting.

PHONE LINES GET CROSSED IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, MARCH 13 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Appy Days" – Teddy and Ivy use a "fake phone call" app to convince their mothers that the other one gave permission for the girls to go to a party. When Gabe blows their plan, the girls have to think fast and avoid getting caught. Meanwhile, PJ is hurt to learn that Bob describes him only as "nice," in a new episode of "Good Luck Charlie," premiering SUNDAY, MARCH 13 (8:00–8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Now this could be good. The girls will get busted of course, as Disney policy is that the kids can never actually get away with anything, but it should be interesting never the less.

MOSEBY CANCELS THE SENIOR PROM IN A NEW EPISODE OF "THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK," FRIDAY, MARCH 18 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Prom Night" – When Moseby finds out about the senior prank, he cancels prom. But Zack devises a plan to throw a secret prom and Bailey has her eyes set on winning prom queen. Meanwhile, Woody reveals to Zack and Cody that he's hoping to share his first kiss with Addison on prom night, in a new episode of "The Suite Life on Deck," premiering FRIDAY, MARCH 18 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Bailey wants to be prom queen? Has she MET London? LOL.

THE DUNCAN HOUSEHOLD DECLARES WAR IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, MARCH 20 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "Duncan vs. Duncan" – When Bob and Amy decide to go away for a romantic night, Teddy and PJ use the opportunity to throw a house party. However, when Bob and Amy get into a huge fight, they cancel their trip, and the kids desperately try to reconcile them so their party can resume. Meanwhile, Jo begrudgingly invites Gabe to take Cotillion classes with her, and much to his dismay, Amy forces him to say yes, in a new episode of "Good Luck Charlie," premiering SUNDAY, MARCH 20 (8:00–8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

I’m not sure what I think about this. Or Teddy and PJ’s somewhat selfishly implied motives to help them reconcile.

CECE AND ROCKY HOST THEIR OWN VIDEO WEBCAST TO DISPENSE TEEN ADVICE IN A NEW EPISODE OF "SHAKE IT UP," SUNDAY, MARCH 20 "Hot Mess It Up" – CeCe and Rocky host a video webcast offering advice to teens, but wind up giving bad dating advice to a fellow student who they mistake for Gunther. Now, CeCe and Rocky need to devise a plan to mend the boy's heart. Meanwhile, Ty, Flynn and Deuce host their own internet show "Zombie Talk," in a new episode of "Shake It Up," SUNDAY, MARCH 20 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Well, this is a classic with bit of a modern tech twist. It’s usually the school newspaper’s advice column but I guess webcast works too.

MATT PROKOP GUEST STARS IN A NEW EPISODE OF "GOOD LUCK CHARLIE," SUNDAY, MARCH 27 ON DISNEY CHANNEL "A L.A.R.P. in the Park" – Teddy is ecstatic that the new hot guy, Evan, invites her for a date at the park. When she finds out she has to babysit Charlie too, she brings her along, but when they arrive, Teddy is horrified to find out that Evan is a secret L.A.R.P. (live action role playing) fan. Meanwhile, Amy visits the hospital after getting poked in the eye accidentally by Charlie, and finds the brief stint at the hospital so relaxing, she fakes the seriousness of her injury so she can stay longer. Back at home, Bob wins a highly coveted exterminator award but forgets to thank Amy in his speech, so he and PJ scramble to recreate the moment on video with an entire speech dedicated to her, in a new episode of "Good Luck Charlie," premiering SUNDAY, MARCH 27 (8:00–8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Horrified? She’s horrified that the hot guy is also kinda geeky? Wow. What kind of message is that sending to- Eh, nevermind. We’ll just have to wait ‘til it airs to learn the full story there.

New Pilot: Madison High

In my old days at Save Disney Shows, we once had a movement to get disney to produce a High School Musical series for DC. Well, with this announcement that Alyson Reed will reprise her role as Ms. Darbus in the new Pilot Madison High, it looks like Disney is finally doing just that! DISNEY CHANNEL CASTS PILOT FOR MUSICAL COMEDY “MADISON HIGH” “High School Musical’s” Alyson Reed to Reprise Role of Drama Teacher Ms. Darbus A favorite star from “High School Musical” will be joined by six multitalented performers in a new music and dance-driven comedy pilot, “Madison High” (working title). The series pilot introduces a troupe of theater students led by the melodramatic drama teacher Ms. Darbus, a beloved character from the cultural sensation “High School Musical.” Production on the pilot begins in March in consideration for a Disney Channel series to premiere in early 2012. To drive the storyline, “Madison High” will feature four original songs written by noted songwriters. They are: Matthew Gerrard (“Hannah Montana,” “High School Musical”), Robbie Nevil (“Hannah Montana,” “High School Musical”), Jamie Houston (“High School Musical”), James Dean Hicks, David Lawrence (“High School Musical,” “High School Musical 2”), Faye Greenberg (“High School Musical 2”), Kara DioGuardi (“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”) and J.D. Salbego. Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush (“High School Musical” and its sequels) and Lester Lewis (“The Office”) and Paul Hoen (“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”) are the executive producers. The pilot was written by Lester Lewis and will be directed by Paul Hoen. In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: “‘High School Musical’ introduced the joys of musicals and musical theater to a whole new generation and kids and families. They embraced the themes explored in those movies -- about expressing oneself and following your dreams. And now, with ‘Madison High,’ we hope to give kids a whole new set of characters with whom to engage – along with more great original music, dance numbers and songs.” Tony Award nominee Alyson Reed reprises her “High School Musical” TV and film roles as Ms. Darbus, the drama teacher at East High School who relocates to Madison High. The pilot will introduce several new characters, including students Devin Daniels, Peyton Hall and Wednesday Malone, played by actors/singers/dancers Luke Benward (Disney Channel Original Movie “Minuteman”), Leah Lewis and G Hannelius (Disney Channel Original Movie “Den Brother”). Additional casting announcements are forthcoming for the characters Cherry O’Keefe, Colby Baker and Harvey Flynn. At Madison High, the students embark on a journey of self discovery while trying to build a revolutionary theatre program under the tutelage of Ms. Darbus. Alyson Reed stars as drama teacher Ms. Darbus, the role she originated in “High School Musical,” followed by its sequel and feature film. The native of Nashville, Tennessee is the son of an actress and a musician, and since age 5 has appeared in commercials, music videos and movies, including the Disney Channel Original Movie “Minutemen,” “How to Eat Fried Worms,” “Doggone,” “Because of Winn-Dixie,” “Mostly Ghostly,” “Dear John” and “We Were Soldiers.” 14-year-old singer Leah Lewis has landed her first leading role as Peyton Hall, a formerly home-schooled tennis champion. Born in China and raised in Orlando, Florida, Lewis has appeared in national commercials for Kraft Cheese, Home Depot and Natures Own Bread, as well as an international commercial for Disneyland Hong Kong. 12-year-old G Hannelius is set to play Wednesday Malone, a precocious starlet in the making. The native of Boston, Massachusetts began her acting career at the age of 8 at the Children’s Theater of Maine. A familiar face on Disney Channel, she starred in the short form series “Leo Little’s Big Show” and “Den Brother,” and has appeared on “Sonny With A Chance,” “Good Luck Charlie,” “Hannah Montana” and Disney XD’s “I’m in the Band.” Her other television credits include a series regular role on ABC’s “Surviving Suburbia.” Casting will be announced soon for these characters: Cherry O’Keefe -- Madison High’s resident queen bee and blogger; Harvey Flynn -- the overly officious stage manager and reigning president of the Drama Club; and Colby Baker -- the artistic anime fan whose hand-drawn Manga is inspired by his high school experiences. It's good to see Disney actually supporting an animated series for once.

Personally, I think to think this series owes all of it's success to my girl Ashley Tisdale. ;)

Billy Ray Cyrus slams Hannah Montana

It's a little late in the game for Billy Ray to cry foul over Hannah. Miley got the job because it was a "two for one" package. He was there with her for all of the filming. He used the show to rebuild his own career as much as he used it to build up his daughter. He was there on the vanity fair shoot for the first "scandal" which really was nothing, IMHO. To cry foul now? I think he's just looking for someone else to blame. Here's what the GQ interview had to say:

Mr. Hannah Montana's Achy Broken Heart These days Billy Ray Cyrus's life is imitating a bad country song: He's headed for a messy divorce, his record company just delayed his latest comeback, and his cherished 18-year-old daughter seems destined to rip bong hits at every party in the U.S.A. No wonder he's muttering about the end times He has a favorite chair at the circular wooden table in the modest kitchen of his Tennessee mansion where he spends much of his time, and he prefers it here with the lights out. When I first arrive he makes me a cup of tea in the microwave, and we face each other as people generally do, fully illuminated, but after a while he asks me whether I'd mind. He flicks a switch behind him, and sinks into shadow. The last few months, he's been living here alone. At the end of August he left the Los Angeles house where his family moved four years ago after his daughter Miley was cast in the Disney teen drama Hannah Montana, the show that would launch her as the pop-culture sensation of her day. He returned to the hundreds of acres of prime Tennessee countryside he had bought with cash in the early '90s in the wake of "Achy Breaky Heart," the song that launched him as the pop-culture sensation of his day. In late October he filed for divorce from Miley's mother, Tish. It's been a tough year, and it keeps getting tougher. This is exactly where he was sitting five days earlier when he opened a link on his Mac PowerBook and—alongside millions of voyeurs with far less at stake—watched footage of Miley smoking a bong and talking some kind of crazed nonsense in celebration of her eighteenth birthday.1 This is where he was when he tweeted his response: Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. Im so sad. There is much beyond my control right now "My kids learned to color on this table. There's been a lot that's went around this table. Waylon Jennings sat right there in that chair and showed Miley the chords to 'Good Hearted Woman.' Sitting in that chair. This table's a bit like life. It's a circle. And I believe everything in life is a circle. You come into this world a little teeny wrinkled-up fetus..." This is how Cyrus begins. The first hour I barely speak. After a long soliloquy about the table, he fetches his guitar and tells me he's written a complete new album in the last three weeks. "Not by choice," he says. "The one I wrote this morning is called 'Feels Like Goodbye.'" It's unexpectedly stark, simple, and beautiful, its opening lines an unacknowledged, desolate, distant echo of the song that paid for this house in the first place: Cold wind's blowing Sat here knowing My heart's about to break When he finishes, he fetches a black-and-white photo of his father's gospel group, the Crownsmen Quartet, and tells me how his father ended up dying of mesothelioma from working in the steel mill, and about his Pentecostal-preacher grandfather and the Sunday-morning church music of his youth, and describes how shameful it felt back in Kentucky in the '60s to have parents who got divorced, to be forced to confess in school that he had a half-brother and half-sisters and stepsisters and no telephone. "There was always that misfit-ness," he says. He points to the picture that sits next to his father's on the dresser, of Geronimo, and reminisces that as a child he used to spend hours running through the woods on his own, pretending he was the legendary Apache leader. Soon he is telling me his whole origin story: how he wanted, and expected, to become the catcher for the Cincinnati Reds until he won a radio competition for concert tickets while he was working in a Kentucky tobacco warehouse, and how Neil Diamond paused during the song "Holly Holy" to say, "I don't care if you're white or black, rich or poor, man or woman, if you believe in your dreams and you live for the light and God's love, you can be anything you want to be in this world," and how at that very moment Cyrus felt as though hands were covering his entire body and he heard a voice he took to be God's telling him that he had to buy a guitar. And how he spent the next decade failing in Nashville and in Los Angeles, unable to fit in either, until on the verge of giving up he talked his way into the record contract that led to the hit single "Achy Breaky Heart" (a song he didn't write) and the accompanying Some Gave All, the best-selling album of 1992 (most of which he did write). I suspect it is a story that has become more mythic in retelling, with all its magical last chances and desperate down-on-one's-knees prayers, and not every minute detail of his account chimes with other, messier contemporary versions of his rise, but there seems little chance of, or point in, stemming his flow. After a while, he circles back to the subject of circles themselves: of birds' nests, and of tornadoes, and of this table between us, and of himself. "I'm right back where I started—I'm still just sitting here writing bar-band music," he says, and strums me another. These new works will have to wait their turn, however. First Cyrus has an album of patriotic songs, I'm American, an idea directly sparked by a trip to Iraq and Afghanistan in 2009, and for which he has also rerecorded the title track of his first album, the story of the Vietnam veteran who told him, "All gave some, but some gave all." That is ostensibly why he is giving this interview—though he's just been told the album won't come out until Memorial Day—and for a long time I'm unsure whether the protracted near monologue that has greeted me indicates an unwillingness to engage with recent problems or is his way of getting to them in his own time. More the latter, it turns out. He is talking about money when the conversation swerves.

Universal Acquires '13 Reasons Why' As Selena Gomez Vehicle By MIKE FLEMING Souse: Deadline New York Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment have acquired the Jay Asher novel 13 Reasons Why as a star vehicle for Selena Gomez. Strike's Eric Newman and Marc Abraham are producing with Mandy Teefey of July Moon Productions. Jennifer O'Kieffe has been set to adapt the novel, about a shy California high school student who returns from school to find a box waiting on his doorstep. It contains seven cassette tapes recorded by Hanna Baker, the classmate he had a crush on. Before she committed suicide, Hannah sent the tapes to one classmate with instructions to pass them on to a list of students like a chain letter. The tapes explain to 13 people how they played a role in her death. The book was a bestseller when published in 2007 by the Penguin Books young adult imprint RazorBill. Strike's Kristel Laiblin is exec producer. Gomez, who stars in the Disney Channel series The Wizards of Waverly Place, starred in the Tom Bezucha-directed Monte Carlo. She's repped by CAA.

I'm not sure what I think of this. My guess is that Sel would play the dead girl, Hannah Baker. This seems like an unusual plot to say the least. So I decided to do some more research and look up the book on Amazon. I was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Especially this part "Hannah, herself, is not free from guilt, her own inaction having played a part in an accidental auto death and a rape. The message about how we treat one another, although sometimes heavy, makes for compelling reading." This certainly looks like an interesting project. I think a lot will rest on how well they adapt the plot for the screen and how specifically they market it.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $10.72 billion, ahead of consensus estimates of $10.52 billion. "We had an excellent first quarter, driven by strong creative content and our unique ability to leverage great entertainment across the many platforms, businesses and markets in which we operate," said Robert A. Iger, President and CEO. "With net income up 54%, it's a great start to a new fiscal year." Walt Disney has a potential upside of 4.8% based on a current price of $41.19 and an average consensus analyst price target of $43.16. Walt Disney is currently above its 50-day moving average (MA) of $38.37 and above its 200-day of $35.39. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has climbed 0.64% while the 200-day MA has risen 0.17%.
