Again, I don’t want to contribute to the rumors about Demi, but there have been some significant developments since I wrote part one so I felt it would be irresponsible not to write a follow up.
We still don’t know what’s “wrong” with Demi. The rumors of Drugs and Alcohol are just that, rumors. Does Demi drink? Probably. What 18 year old girl hasn’t had a drink or two? But there’s a huge difference between being a drunk and having an occasional drink.
Demi is NOT in “rehab.” She checked into the Timberline Knolls treatment facility [just outside Chicago] after she decided she needed help for “emotional and physical” issues. Her family went to visit her the other day and I guess someone followed them.. This has to be a very difficult experience for Demi, and I wish the media would at least try to go easy on her.
Demi does have a history of “cutting.” It is not confirmed that her current treatment includes this issue, but I think it’s quite likely it would. There is no way those marks could be caused by bracelets like her people claimed. Just no way.
Demi probably did punch her backup dancer Shorty. She’s clearly got a black eye there, and I don’t think she punched herself (although she could have…).
From the Dow Jones Newswires:
A fist fight was what reportedly led Disney (NYSE:DIS) channel star Demi Lovato to leave her tour and enter a treatment facility, TMZ reports Thursday.
A backup dancer on the Jonas Brothers Live in Concert Tour was punched by Lovato, and Alex Welch is reportedly seeking legal action against the “Sonny With a Chance” starlet.
Sources close to the matter said Lovato feels “awful” for hitting Welch.

I know we talk on the boards a bit, but I just want to thank you for sticking to trying to report the facts on here instead of just spreading the rumors.
A lot of “real news” sites could learn from you.
As I’ve quoted elsewhere, the true measure of someone isn’t that they never fall, it’s that they pick themselves back up after they fall.
As always, I wish Demi a full recovery from whatever problems she is struggling with, and a long happy and healthy life.
Hey Greg, not sure if you’ve seen this or not:

Basically, the third season of SWAC will continue, but the concept will be So Random! episodes featuring guest hosts, sketches, and musical numbers similar to the Halloween special and the upcoming Holiday special.
Still wishing Demi well!
I loved the Halloween special. It gave us all a look at what “So Random” would be like if it were real. A real “So Random” would be a fun show to watch.
As for SWAC, I keep feeling like Disney is giving G Hannelius a bigger role, and it’s turning into “Dakota With A Chance.”
They aren’t gonna do SWAC without sonny. They’re just exploring the option of leaning on the sketches more. This doesn’t mean anything, and we can’t know anything until after Demi “finishes” her treatment.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to suggest that the entire season would be So Random! sans Sonny, just that the producers were re-tooling it for a few episodes until Demi returns from treatment, which is what it says in the article I linked.
Demi, please be strong and remember, alot of people care about you. I myself have been to a darker place, in my mind, in the same situation of life as you. I have no doubt where you are. Contact me if you ever wanna speak to someone who’s is unattached, thats been where you are now. Get Well & God Bless.
Let’s face it, the name of the series is “Sonny” With a Chance. If they got rid of Sonny, it would be a different series … unless they found a really good Demi lookalike. I remember they used to do that … in the 1960s and 1970s.
We’ve decided to start setting up the Save Sonny movement at SonnyWithAChance.org/. It hopefully won’t be necessary but best to be ready!
