Hey, did you guys all see Zendaya on Dancing With The Stars?
I realize this was back on Monday, but it wasn’t the highest thing on my priorities list.
That said, I honestly think she did a fantastic job.
We’ve actually been discussing it on the Debby forum (don’t over think that) and the consensus seems to be somewhere between “Awesome” and “spectacular.”
I know Arwin in particular liked her leap off the judge’s table.
And I have to say that the thing that struck me was just how much and how openly she used her legs in that routine. O.o

It was funny that Zendaya’s partner was really taken aback when she told him that she is only 16. He didn’t say it and kind of just fumbled his words, but you could tell that he thought she was much older.

Zendaya absolutely killed it on DWTS and she won the night with the highest score! I am so proud of her and I will be watching again this Monday so I can cheer her on. 🙂

A person’s popularity or level of talent can have no bearing on another’s opinion of their static visual appeal or vice versa. So Jay could still insulting her looks and I will continue laughing at the backlash.
Mike it’s ok and perfectly within all of our rights to have opinions on girls. We like this girl or dislike that girls for a variety of reasons. With all due respect you shouldn’t allow Jay’s comments to be posted any longer. You are the one allowing him to spread his message of hate and we’re all sick of it. You have the blog set up so that you have to approve all comments before they are posted. The next time Jay makes a commment simply don’t allow it to be posted. Problem solved!

Since I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars (nor care to start) can anybody tell me how common competitors like Zendaya are? By that I mean stars whose popularity or star power is increasing before signing on.

Very rarely. Usually, its a mixture of athletes and actors/actresses and singers or comedians who are in the twilight of their respective careers who go on the show to stay in the spotlight for a little longer. Zendaya is one of the few who have gone before establishing a career.
