I wanted to do something a little different today, but we’ll get to that in a moment.
Maia Mitchell is an Australian actress that has done some local work for Disney down under. Most recently she guest stared on Jessie.
It was kind of a big role, you might remember…
… She really impressed me on that show. And it’s kinda scary how much she and Debby look alike.
Anyway, as you may have noticed, we haven’t been posting “hard news” on this forum anymore. From now on you’ll find news of specials, new episodes, series renewals, and the like over on our siter site G2I Media.
I wanted to make sure you all saw the press release and trailer for Teen Beach Musical, which stars and Maia and Austin and Ally’s Ross Lynch.
And she’s also going to be on a new ABC Family show called The Fosters with Jake T. Austin! So maybe this post should go over on the ABC Girls blog. xD
Oh, and you might want to bookmark G2I Media. We also have an RSS feed available, a twitter profile @g2imedia, or you can simply check the DC Fans sidebar to see the three most recent articles from the other site.
One last note, you may want to click on any of the six photos above to see the gallery with 35+ more pics of the Australian cutie. 🙂
Her face reminds me a lot of Zoey Deutch, Maya from SLOD.
Greg,
Thanks for this excellent post on Maia. She was AWESOME on “Jessie” and I’m really looking forward to seeing her in “Teen Beach Movie” this summer. 🙂
This girl is so pretty, and reminds me of Debby as well. She is well worth watching “Teen Beach Movie” this summer.
Speaking of Debby Ryan… I can’t stand her. Poor actress and not particularly cute.
cdog, there is a bit of Zoey’s look in there as well. But by far she looks more like Debby, IMHO.
bobby phat, are you gay and retarded? O.o (No offence to those who are homosexual and/or mentally challenged.)
Good gracious, I loved her in Jessie. I usually don’t watch episodes of Jessie the following day, but I liked her so much, I watched it again just for her. I don’t know what it is about her, but I LOVED her. She’s a new favorite right out of the gate. I love her already. I do see the minor similarities to Debby, but I’m FAR more attracted to Maia.
And, GOD, I LOVE that Australian accent. She’s so wondrously perfect I can’t even stand it. Love her.
I’m surprised no one has said she looks like Selena Gomez. I actually mistook her for Selena until I looked at the title again!
Jonny, yeah she had a cute face and I can see some similarities to Selena as well, but I still think she looks a lot more like Debby. Either way, she’s really cute. 🙂
bobby phat,
I suggest you check into rehab immediately for your crack addiction problem. You are OBVIOUSLY on drugs if you think Debby can’t act and isn’t cute.
Un-FREAKIN’-believable.
I would like to second the notion that Debby Ryan is not cute.
Mike, you agree with me that Selena is amazing, but you don’t think Debby is cute? How can we be so alike and yet so different? :/
Two things: First, my comment on Selena had more to do with your writing bit instead of been and me having some fun with that. Second, I think people can get a bit synonym happy when describing things they like. My not finding Debby cute does not prevent my finding Debby attractive.
Oh, well if you’re gonna make fun of me, please make it more explicit so that I realize I should be offended. 😛
Also, how can be be attractive but not cute? :/
Bobby seek help from rehab.we love Debby.leave dont come bck.must like fake plastic boobs.or old grannys.or nasty porn. Defently GO AwAy! Or else
Fy mike u need to go away and don’t come bck we dont want u or bobby here go look at your nasty porno and old grannys.fy too boooby
No.
And for me cute has a connotation of being young or childlike in appearance, like puppies or babies. Debby may have been cute earlier (and she can appear cuter based on how she presents herself), but she looks like an adult normally and is therefore not cute. Also, to preemptively respond to comments about her personality I do not know her so I am not factoring it in.
We can say hot and sexy. If u dont think she is ur for sure an idiot.
