No studio magic. I’ve been a musician for a quarter of a century, and a studio engineer for over a decade. Why do those who know nothing about recording always assume there is studio magic happening when it’s a cute Disney girl? These melodies are not difficult. I’ve seen the girl sing live. This is all her. Sorry dude. You don’t know what you are talking about… Though I’m sure you will make some attempt to defend your position… This is what I do for a living.

That is her singing voice, and lets be honest here. Just about every major star has “studio magic” on their record.
You don’t have to be a professional (or prove you are one [why would someone lie about being a recording professional for 25 years just to back up their point on a Disney blog? I mean come on, Mouse.]) to compare her recorded voice to how it sounds live. Yes, it’s cleaned up a little (why wouldn’t it be?), but all in all, that’s her voice. She can sing. Put down the Haterade, Mouse. No reason for it. Take your negativity elsewhere. “If you can’t same anything nice…”
