Richard Loomis promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, Disney Channel

A little bit of corporate news regarding Disney Channel’s executive structure. Richard Loomis joined DC back in 2007 and was in charge of marketing. In his new role he’s still in charge of marketing… but he has a fancy new title (and I would presume a pay bump).

In related news, Karen K. Miller has also been promoted to Executive Director, Worldwide Programming Strategy which puts her in a very prominent position as far as the future direction of the channel.
