Vanessa Morgan is the 19 year old Canadian cutie from Family Channel’s My Babysitter’s a Vampire.
Depending on the occasion sometimes she looks more Black, sometimes more East Asian / Indian.
Now… I don’t know what exactly her make up is, but whatever it is it works for her. =]
She also doesn’t seem to mind showing her legs some. 😉

I’ve been watching this show regularly. It’s actually not half bad! But then, I’ve been paying more attention to Vanessa Morgan and Kate Todd. Vanessa is just plain gorgeous.

Agreed with everyone, I’m very much into this girl, she’s def. the best reason to watch that horrid vampire show. I think I spotted her in Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars, the one with Jennifer Stone, and hey who knows? maybe she’ll be in the new Debby Ryan DCOM since it’s being shot in Vancouver.

It’s great to see Vanessa Morgan on the blog! 🙂 I’ve been on a personal quest to find out more about her ethnicity and I would guess her gorgeous dark features such as her skin and hair come from India because her wikipedia entry lists her full name as “Vanessa Morgan Mziray” and if you research that last name you’ll see that it has its origins in India. Whatever this girl’s ethnicity is makes no difference because she is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Vanessa is what I would call “beauty pageant gorgeous”. Her face is incredible and her curvy figure completes this total package.
I absolutely love the photos you posted. Those juxtaposed shots with the parka, the sweaters and the shorts are SO FREAKIN’ HOT! It looks like our northern neighbors get to claim another beautiful and talented actress to their credit.
By the way Greg her show “My Babysitter’s a Vampire” is on Disney Channel, not Family Channel at least that’s the way it is here on the east coast. Perhaps it’s different in the west. Whatever channel the show is on by you I would advise EVERYONE to watch it because it’s a good show and Vanessa seems to be very talented actress. Her wikipedia entry also lists her as a singer. I’d like to hear what she sounds like.
I totally agree with what you said Arwin ahah pretty much took the words out of my mouth 😛 and its Abc Family in Canada, but Disney in the Us. same as Life with Derrick i assume.
Not to be the network police here, but Family Channel in Canada is NOT the same as ABC Family. It does program many Disney Channel shows and yes, TDC does carry the occasional show that originally aired on Family Channel (Life with Derek & Naturally, Sadie).
That being said, My Babysitter is a Vampire comes from the Canadian Teletoon channel, actually. Both are owned by the same media conglomerate Astral, but Teletoon is more akin to USA’s The Cartoon Network with the occasional live action show ala MBiaV.
Thanks for reading and by the way, no matter what network she is on, Vanessa is smokin’ hot and having her AND Kate Todd on during the same 1/2 hour is almost too much for my HDTV to handle.

I’m not impressed. I guess I have a thing for predominantly white (Debby Ryan) or half-white, half-Mexican (Selena Gomez) chicks. Asian (or Indian, in this case) doesn’t work for me.

In my opinion, she’s the hottest girl Disney has ever had, i dunno, maybe it’s the skin color that really attracts me. I’m looking forward to seeing more of her lushiousness (i doubt i spelled that right) on MBaV on Disney!

People, she is not from India. Mziray is a Bantu name. People with that surname come predominantly from Tanzania, seemingly from the Muslim part of Tanzania. Tanzania is diverse in ethnicities but is home mainly to Bantus. The Muslims in Tanzania are usually from the coastal and other regions, generally of the Bantu ethnicities or mixed with Bantu and Cushitic peoples. Both groups of people are entirely African.
Being African myself, I’ve seen many people with her features and hair. Especially from East and the Sahel regions of Africa. So please stop this ignorance about her having to be Indian just because of it.
