Come on people. Let’s take a better look on how these photos were taken. They were taken with a telephoto lens. Whoever the photographer was, they either were up in a tree or looking over a fence. This means Selena’s privacy was disrespected. Do celebrities not have a right to any privacy? As far as her bikini top being undone, so what!!!!! There is a stupid double standard out there where a guy can go shirtless, but if females do it, they get arrested for indecent exposure. It’s not right, or fair. Besides, so what if her top was undone. She was only trying to avoid tan lines. A lot of girls and women do the same thing to avoid the tan lines. So what if she had been sunbathing topless. That would be her business if she was. American society has a very archaic and puritanical view on the nude body. It’s the twenty first century people. Let’s bring our thinking up to today’s times. And, let’s respect celebrities’ right to privacy.

Sorry, Jim – you’d be wrong about the privacy thing. As a photographer myself, I know the standing rule is that if you can take a photo of someone while you’re located in a public place, you have every right to do so. The key word is “expectation of privacy.” As long as she is out in the open, she has none.
For example, if I was in a public street and she was inside her house with the shades open, I could legally (if not unethically) take her photo through the open window. That’s how they got the pics of Miley.
Guys, you can be so mean sometimes! This accident can happen to anyone! Especially a bikini you gotta tie! So cut her some slack. She is a very good role model if you ask me. I mean look at Miley…
