Selena Gomez Concert at the OC Fair

So on Sunday I went to the Orange County Fair to see Selena. It wasn’t the best timing for me, but I had already paid for the ticket back in February so I figured I better take advantage. I had some time to explore the fair before the show and I saw the cutest baby cow.  <3

Also, prior to the actual show, I got word that Disney had invited some various actors to the show including Adam Irigoyen (Deuce, Shake It Up), Caroline Sunshine (Tinka, Shake It Up) Bella Thorne (CeCe, Shake It Up), and Stefanie Scott (Lexi, ANT Farm). I saw all of them, but Bella is the only one who come close to where I was. And I already met her so I didn’t try knocking people over to get to talk to her. xD

So then it was actually time for the show! It was a huge amphitheater and I was in the 14th row back. Not too bad I think. Not as good as the last time I saw Selena, but then again, I didn’t have to stand in the sun for six hours either.

Selena did a total of 18 songs! That’s the most I’ve ever seen her do at once, surpassing her LA County Fair show last year by a good six songs. Here’s the full list:

I think that song “Hit the Lights” is my favorite off the new album. If not, then “We Own the Night” is.

I was a bit disappointed she didn’t do “Outlaw” though. It would have been an interesting song to hear live. Although I must say that “My Dilemma” was pretty good too.

And, I have to at least mention this I suppose, Selena’s little boy toy Justin Bieber was there too. Worse, he actually took the f-ing stage! I both tried to set him on fire using only the power of my mind (it didn’t work, darn!) and I also watched Selena watch him. And I have to say, she didn’t look very comfortable watching him perform. You can’t really see her in the video unfortunately, but there was just enough light to make her out in person.

  2. I saw her at the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles the next night. (It’s kinda funny because she wore the exact same dress but in white.) Front row at the left corner of the stage, so it was one of the three main places she’d switch between to sing. It was the first show I’d been to where she only performed her songs, and no covers (guess with three albums she’s got enough depth to round out a play list.) I was a little disappointed because I don’t think we got the full show she’s rolling out for the tour this week. I’m curious what photos and video from the tour will show as different.

    BTW I have pictures from that concert if you’re interested. I got some pretty good shots from where I was seated.

    i wish you have set him on fire…he walks like he pooped his pants, must need a diaper change. and from what you can see you are right it looked like selena was uncomfortable with him on stage, but i would be too if i was performing and someone surprises me and takes over my concert without warning.

    That baby cow is VERY cute but looking at it also makes me hungry. I think I’ll order a nice thick juicy steak for dinner tonight. 🙂

    Don’t worry about Selly and Beiber, it can’t last forever. This reminds me of back in the day when all of the Britney fans were upset while she was going out with Justin Timberlake from *nSTINK – geez, why is it always a guy named “Justin” that screws things up? Anyway, they evenutally broke up when she cheated on him. Selly will come to her senses one day too, you’ll see. 😀

    With one exception I couldn’t care less about meeting anyone from “Shake it Up” or “A.N.T. Farm”. The only actress that interests me from either show is Zendaya because I think she’s very funny. I like her facial expressions. I wouldn’t mind shaking her hand and telling her she’s doing a good job.
