Well, it’s about time! Disney has formally announced that the premiere of the Suite Life Movie will be Friday March 25th on Disney Channel.
But wait, isn’t that then they were gonna premiere the new DCOM: Lemonade Mouth? I guess Bridgit’s movie got bumped. Still, the SLOD movie should be a big event and I can see why they made that decision.
Disney’s official press release follows.
ZACK & CODY CONTINUE THE ‘SUITE’ ADVENTURE WITH THE PREMIERE OF “THE SUITE LIFE MOVIE,” FRIDAY, MARCH 25 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
Television’s popular teen twins Zack and Cody, the longest running continuous characters on Disney Channel, are at the center of the comedy and adventure in the third iteration of their powerhouse “Suite Life” franchise, “The Suite Life Movie,” premiering FRIDAY, MARCH 25 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) as part of the hugely successful Disney Channel Original Movie franchise. Reprising their series roles are Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse, who also executive-produce the movie, Brenda Song (of the Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated film “The Social Network”), Debby Ryan, Matthew Timmons and Phill Lewis.
A January 2011 telecast of “The Suite Life on Deck” ranks as its No. 1 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (7.1 million) and its No. 2 telecast ever in Kids 6-11 (2.9 million/11.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.6 million/10.6 rating). The series is the No. 1 TV show in its timeslot (Fridays at 8:00 p.m.) among Kids 6-14, and season to date against all TV programs ranks No. 2 among Kids 6-11 and No. 3 among Tweens 9-14.
In the U.S., across all basic cable, Disney Channel Original Movies dominate the ratings, and have produced basic cable’s No. 1 original movie telecast among Kids 6-11 for eight of the past nine years, and for nine consecutive years among Tweens 9-14.
“The Suite Life on Deck” premiered in 2008 as a spin-off of “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” which premiered in 2005.
Filmed on location in Vancouver, Canada, the comedy adventure movie takes place during spring break as Cody gets an opportunity to participate in a prestigious internship program. However, when twin brother Zack destroys billion-dollar scientific equipment, Cody is kicked out of the program. Soon thereafter, the brothers are approached to join the Gemini Project, a high-tech research center studying the dynamics between twins. Shockingly, they find themselves interconnected in a way they’ve never been before: When one twin experiences a sensation, thought or feeling, the other twin feels it too. While this newfound revelation helps the boys see eye to eye for the first time, it puts them in more danger than they could have imagined.

Enjoy the bonus Debby Ryan pic. 🙂

Greg, thanks for the bonus pic of my girl Debby. Maybe we’ll get to see even more of those incredibly sexy legs in the SLOD movie. If you think about the history of DCOM’s the characters are always showing more skin than they do in their series. Think back to Even Stevens when CCR was in the beach in her bathing suit and more recently the WWP movie where your girl Selena was rocking her swimsuit. ~crosses fingers~ Maybe we’ll finally get to see more of Debby in the SLOD movie. I hate to admit this but right now my girl Debby is the most “covered up” DC star of all time. 🙁
Selena really didn’t show much skin at all in the WOWP movie, but ya never know. Maybe we will get a better look at Debby. *crosses fingers*
I am so exited to watch it I can wait. It is will aired in March 25 on Friday after Graduation Episode 🙂
wow you’re all creepy ass pervs.
Hey nadrojeggel, why you here then! You gotta problem with it you dont have to be here now do you!
Its not like they were asking to see them naked, were they! Dont be coming round here judging ok!
it was a great movie
I liked the Suite Life movie more than I thought I would. 🙂
I wish both Jennette McCurdy and Debby Ryan would show some more skin. They have the best bods in Disney. The upskirt shot of Debby Ryan coming down the stairs at the end of The Suite Life Movie is one of the best shots in film history and can’t possibly be an accident. They knew they were giving us what we wanted. THANK YOU DISNEY! Now do the same with Jennette McCurdy and Bridget Mendler! They are always wearing shorts when they should be in mini skirts like Debby Ryan. That or bikinis. We’re easy to please. Just show us the bods of the most beautiful teens on the planet while they are young enough to appreciate. Beauty is not a crime, but covering it up should be. Shapeless Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice are always showing leg and belly button shots. Put Jennette McCurdy and Selena Gomez in the same clothes and the ratings would go through the roof. It isn’t being a perv, it is simply letting extraordinary beauty shine. As someone else pointed out, we aren’t asking for nudity, just to see the most beautiful girls on tv instead of covering them up. Hopefully the upskirt shot of Debby Ryan at the end of the Suite Life Movie is the start of a beautiful trend. Even better, get Bridget Mendler in a bikini making out with her brother’s black friend. It is way overdue for a pretty white teen girl to have an onscreen romance with a black guy. Victorious is trending in that direction with Tori and Andre, but if Disney beat them to it with Bridget Mendler or Debby Ryan, they would make ratings history. Bridget Mendler already has the cast in place and could do it any episode they wished. Go for it guys! Break down barriers! Show some courage as well as some skin!

Ummm, Dude. That’s already been done several times already on 90210. Personally, I don’t want to see Debby make out with anyone because it gets me jealous. 😉 I don’t even like watching her kiss Cole Sprouse and yes, I realize that’s not even very much of a kiss.
Arwin,
When you are right, you’re right…on both counts. Since my post several people have pointed out that in Hellcats Aly Michalka is even bedding a black man. I don’t get to watch 90210, but others have confirmed white girls have made out with black men on that show, so I was mistaken. It is already being done. Would still like to see a hunky black guy make the moves on Jennette McCurdy though. I agree that I don’t really want to see anyone kiss Debby Ryan. She is just TOO pretty and it would make me jealous as well., Thanks for the thoughtful reply.
pennpal, my apologies but I have to ask, are you black?
