Bella Thorne was born in Florida and has three other siblings, Remy, Dani, and Kaili Thorne. At the tender age of six weeks old, Bella shot her first pictorial for “Parents Magazine.” She has continued to grace the covers of many national and international magazine and catalog covers since. She has appeared in more than 40 commercials.
One of her early roles was in the network drama My Own Worst Enemy.
She would have been all of ten in these screencaps.
And even then it’s obvious that she’s going places.

Bella kind of looks like Miley when she started out. I wonder if that’s what the Disney execs were thinking when they cast her? I’ll give “Shake it up” a try although I don’t know if it’s my thing based on the previews. It looks a little imature but I don’t mean that in a bad way. I guess as all of us are getting older the shows seem to be getting younger and at some point we will all evenutally (GASP!) grow out of watching DC. The theme song is very catchy although it contains a little much auto tune. From what I understand it’s sung by Webmaster Greg’s “girl” none other than the beautiful Selena Marie Gomez. 😉

Webmaster Greg, I totally agree with you but it remains to be seen if “Shake it up” is the right platform to lauch Bella’s career. I think most people would agree with me that Bridgit Mendler is also adorable and talented but unfortunately, “Good Luck, Charlie” isn’t the most entertaining show on Disney’s schedule right now and I’m putting that kindly. 😉 It looks like the producers of “Shake it up” are using a modified version of the “Hannah Montana” formula except with dancing instead of singing. This time however instead of having a main character with talent (Hannah) and a sidekick (Lilly) they have two main characters with talent. Who knows, maybe Zendaya will steal the show and Bella won’t get the attention everyone is expecting. I guess we’ll have to just wait and see. 🙂
Eh… I really don’t see Zendaya stealing the spotlight. But we shall see.

Is it just me, or does Bella Thorne remind anyone else of a young Winona Ryder? Her looks and her acting delivery both kind of remind me of Winona. She is a cute little thing and you’re right WM Greg… she’s likely going to be big. Zendaya has every bit as much charm and talent as her too. She reminds me of Selena a little bit. I think they both have a pretty good shot becoming the next Disney royalty. With HM and WOWP going away, somebody’s going to have to step up.
Bella really impresses me. Zendaya not as much.
Using a different browser. I’m back. I think. I’m thinking Bella is the next Miley. But the show is NOT Hannah Montana, although it’s a wannabe replacement. It also appears Disney is making this show a competitor for Nick’s “Victorious.”

Yeah, Bella is adorable and she will step out someday and be big. Just something tells me that she will. I’m not sure what it is, but it just sort of tells me. Hmm, I’ll keep thinking.
