Good News! I was able to obtain an HD source for Sonny with a Chance Episode 4, “You’ve Got Fan Mail” just like I did for episode 3. It’s kinda a shame that I didn’t get the first two episodes in HD as well.
UPDATE: You’ll be able to find all the other episode screencaps in the image gallery. You don’t need to search for newer posts to find a specific episode.
Anyway, my first impression of the episode “You’ve Got Fan Mail” was also the one that I wanted so start with: “OMG! Demi as a blond! :)”
Now… why did Sonny not simply hire someone to play her fan? Because doing it herself prevented her being able to simply meet her imaginary fan. But that certainly didn’t stop Tawni from making a move on him/her/whatever!

Chad was researching a “small but crucial role” but he had to do it on the set of So Random? they don’t have their own mail guy?
And I thought Demi looked good in this top. “No… I’m Sonny. You Tawni.”
I think chad did it on the set of So Random because she likes sonny. everything points this liking. such as the way he helped her in the end. I think he started to like her when she showed she was a good actress in episode 2.

strangely seeing Tifeny sitting on sonny made me wish I could that, even in the comesials.
finally, about the ending, that box fell, was moved around for so long, and took so long to open. how could that girl stay there with out falling or peeing in her pants… unless, she replaced the box after coming from the set. that would explain the fact that she was on stage.
Well yeah, it seems fairly obvious that they’re setting up a Chad/Sonny paring (chonny? sonad? LOL)

Somewhere I read a post about wondering about the age of Tiffany Thornton, which seems to be quite secretive. After reading blogs on IMDB, one mentioned that her Facebook page announced her birthday on Feb. 14. Don’t know if that’s true. Another blog entry calculated the year of graduation from HS as 2003, thee same year she won a modeling award, which may indicate she had to be 18 that year. So, my unofficial research puts her as being born Feb. 14, 1985, which means she is now 24, which corresponds to some of the myspace pages.
I saw the year of graduation thing on imdb too. It’s kinda strange that it’s so hard to get her age pinned down. She has screen credits going back five years, you’d think some one at imdb would have figured it out since then.

I might actually like blonds less, because on my top six list which i mentioned, #1,2,6 and one of the ones tied at 4th are brunets, the other one from the tie is a red head, and the closest to blond is a crossbred with brownish hair who’s #3
but why do girls like celebrity boys (and boys like celebrity girls) which they know nothing about? and this celebrity thing is kinda going to get in the way of the high-school-crushs (which are needed for a good teen-sitcom)

And historically, it’s no so much the age of the actor, but how young they look. The cast of High school Musical where all in their 20s when they made the first film (Except for Vanessa, who was 17).
Has anyone seen any of the older projects Tiffany Thornton was in? It could help narrow down her age range if we knew what she looked like back in 2004/2005.

Olesya was either 19 or 20. I’m not sure of when they filmed the movie, offhand.
I’m worse at this then i thought. that is at guessing if the girls are in that age range (at the time 14 year 11 month to 18 years 2 month.) I guessed in the range in December for the first movie, meaning i thought she was under 18 (or at least less then 18 years 1 month) for at least partsof the first film.
Just like Tiffany’s age seems to be a big secret, I also tried to find pictures of her acting or modeling from 5 or 6 years ago, and those are hard to find. If she won a modeling award in 03, you’d think there would be a picture — but nothing! This is getting creepy.
I love zhoobin’s age range calculations. Reminds me of when I was a teenager. Nowadays a woman falls into my age range if she says she’ll go out with me! Oh yeah, she has to be at least 18 … in this country anyway …
them being in the range isn’t only for going out, it’s also for checking out (aperently exept for Olyson Rulin); i don’t check them out unless i think there in the range. the only girl in the range i refuse to check out is a girl at my school who is always with her boyfriend.

I recommend the free Google Toolbar. It has a built in spell check button for all Internet forms. (Works for email, forums, blogs, just about anything online)

I debate whether or not Chad likes Sonny. I think Chad is in love with himself and is playing Sonny for a sucker. Either Chad will change his ways and realize he really likes Sonny, or Sonny is bound to get burned. I’m sure the producers want to keep the audience guessing.
Why would sonny get burned? She doesn’t like him back. But I agree that Chad’s in denial.
And I just noticed, my fave characters aren’t all high school sophomores, such as Max from WOWP and Zora from SWAC
Sonny doesn’t like Chad yet. But they’re definitely trying to set that up. I think they’ll either end up together, or Sonny will develop feeling for chad and he’ll push her away for one reason or another (kinda like the HM plotline with the movie star guy – I forget his name).
You mean Jake Ryan? (I think Ryan was his last name, let me check… yep, it was) well in the end of what I remember being his last appearance he said he would like to fix him self to get back to Miley.

You know I think I know why Chad threw sonny out. He’s very self centered and was shocked when someone, who just happened to be Sonny, said they wouldn’t go. He later regretted it however, which was why he asked “did you get me a present”. He wanted to let Sonny in; but saw it below his dignity. He wanted to use the present as an excuse.
Zhoobin is sort of right, I think. Sonny wanted to spend time with her friend and Chad couldn’t handle being rejected. That’s pretty much what Zhoobin had to say, in my own words. I think if the roles were changed and, say, Tawni had a friend who she wanted to spend time with and told Chad she wasn’t going to his party, I’m willing to bet that because Chad is so arrogant, he probably would have had Tawni removed. By the way, for some reason Tawni looked hotter than usual in that episode. Could it have been the bare shoulders? Hmmmm … yeah.
Chad is clearly an egomaniac. I mean, who has card board cutouts of himself at his party?
He invited the girls because, as a guy, it makes himself look better if he has lots of cute girls at his party.
Sonny’s rejection knocked him down a peg. So he took her off the list. Of course, if she can snuck in for him (ie with a gift) that would be okay, but she didn’t come for him which is why he attempted to throw her out.
And I didn’t notice Tawni being hotter than usual. But I already think she’s pretty cute.
I believe you said earlier that Tiffany Thornton was growing on you. I have to admit, she’s growing on me, too. Then again, when I saw Demi Lovato on “As The Bell Rings,” I didn’t care much for her. Then “Camp Rock” trailers came along and I began to think she wasn’t that great. But one day I was bored and watched the last half of the movie and got into it. I’ve since watched it twice. Now I see Demi on “Sonny With a Chance” and can’t help but notice she has portrayed three totally different characters. She’s obviously not a typecast actress. The one thing I see in common with all her acting is that she’s not afraid to be silly. Now I can’t wait for “Princess Protection Program.” That will put Selena to the test, too.
Demi didn’t catch my eye at all on As The Bell Rings. And I was on the fence after Camp Rock. It wasn’t until I actually got to see Demi in person that I was truly impressed with her.
Where as with Tiffany, it took five episodes for me to call myself a fan. I’m weird like that, LOL

I’m thinking about the episode about Chad’s birthday. Was it just me, or was Chad the only male in the party? Oh wait, I think the security guys were male, but that was it. Or were those female, too?
I don’t remember Demi’s gap, but it’s a good think for her to have straight teeth because when she smiles, she sure shows a lot of them. It’s not such a big deal that Miley Cyrus has buck teeth.
There where some guys there. I remember Tawni telling sonny that her friend was “dancing over there with some boys” or something like that.
Come to think of it, I think you’re right. Perhaps they were the dates of the girls that Chad had invited. … I think the girl who acted as Lucy, or Lulu, who played Sonny’s friend, was a cutie.
I’ll be sure to check when I get the Screencaps from that episode posted.
And according to TV.com, Lucy was played by Eden Sher. She doesn’t have a lot of acting credits, so you might be able to actually find a real facebook, myspace, or whatever.

As I’ve said before, Chad can have pretty much any girl he wants.
Because Sonny and Tawni are almost as big a stars as he is, having them at his party is a bigger ego boost than having random girls like Lucy there.
As for why he’d want Sonny in particular, that has to do with wanting what isn’t easy to get
