Bridgit Mendler at the Los Angeles County Fair

On Saturday Bridgit Mendler held her first ever public concert in the LA area with a headlining show at the LA County Fair. I know what you’re thinking, and yes I really did go see Bridgit Mendler twice in the same week. And while I didn’t get quite as close to her as I did at Extrapalooza, it was a still a lot of fun.

I didn’t get much in the way of still photos. Even being up close it’s hard for consumer grade cameras to focus and auto expose properly with concert lighting and even though I was int he first row of the box seats, it was still much too far for decent stills. But that’s now why I went, I went to hear her sing her new album, and she sang most of it!

Out of the 12 songs on the regular CD (15 on the iTunes Deluxe version) she performed 10 live plus another two covers and one song from Lemonade Mouth. Not a bad first show if I do say so myself. What follow are my orginal recordings from the show, shot both with my Flip video camera in 720p HD and when the batteries started to fail in that camera, with my Fugi Z20 in SD. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you buy her album when it is released next month. I know I will be picking up a copy. =]
