The lovely Bridgit Mendler made a rare semi-public apperance for the Disney Channel Upfront Presentations.
This was back in March, if you remember, when they were anouncing the GLC new baby special.
I didn’t even think to check to see if she was there, because Bridgit never seems to show up for anything.
Unless, you know, they make her. xD
Anyway, she looked great and I really hope she gets her face out there more.

Bridget has a great look and is really stunning, sometimes. But,in some of her public appearances, she just looks stunned. It’s hard to tell if she’s shy and uncomfortable or she just hates to be in public. She seems to be multi-talented and did I mention, she’s really cute.
I think she just doesn’t like to make public appearance – just look at her trying to force a smile – I don’t blame her, she desperately seems to need help.

I think Bridgit is just gorgeous. I kind of understand her reluctance to make public appearances though. Some people are very gifted artistically, but also really uneasy in situations where there is a lot of focus on them. It’s textbook social anxiety. I’m sure she loves and appreciates her fans immensely, but social anxiety can be really hard. I’ll bet a large portion of us nerdy Disney fans (self included) can relate. As far as Bridgit’s public appearances… we’ll just have to take what we can get.
