I wanted to take a moment to wish a belated happy birthday to the lovely Emily Osment who turned 20 on Saturday March 10th. She’s not a teenager anymore.

  4. I’ve always liked Oleysa – she could have so easily played the hottie instead of a piano nerd-girl – pretty face, great body, good actress – truly under-appreciated – she should’ve had her own DCOM or at least something with her in a lead position

  5. Louie my only thought was that perhaps DC thought her “too old” but she’s younger than Tizz so that doesn’t really work.

    I’m glad she got a bigger role in the later movies at least.

    No one more than me would have loved to see Oleysa in the lead role instead of Vanessa Hudgens but the issue was that she can’t sing. 🙁 I remember an interview with Oleysa about HSM2, remember the scene at the piano where she starts singing the first few bars of “You are the Music in Me” and then Zac and Vanessa take over? I remember Oleysa saying how nervous she was because she’s not a singer and it took her a number of takes to get those few bars good enough where she felt comfortable. Ironically wikipedia describes her a singer but she herself doesn’t seem to think so. As we know wikipedia isn’t very accurate.

    That’s kind of what they did with Oleysa and as you will note she doesn’t have any solos with the one exception of just a few bars which I mentioned above. She’s very cute and she can act and dance.
