From the original producers of High School Musical and the director of The Tooth Fairy, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is a witty comedy about pursuing your life-long dreams and believing in yourself. The films catchy tunes, Sharpay’s lavishly glittery “pink” outfits, and the adorable featured male co-stars – Austin Butler (“Life Unexpected,” “Ruby and the Rockits” and “Zoey 101”) and Bradley Steven Perry (“Good Luck Charlie”) – will be sure to keep viewers fully entertained and laughing throughout.

Bonus Features:

BLOOPERS (on Blu-ray & DVD) – Ashley Tisdale and the cast cut up on set.

AUSTIN CAM (on Blu-ray & DVD) – Actor Austin Butler, who plays student filmmaker Petyon, not only shoots scenes needed for the movie, but takes his camera behind the scenes to see how Ashley Tisdale has fun between takes.

THE EVOLUTION OF SHARPAY (on Blu-ray only) – Ashley Tisdale traces the development of her bigger-than-life character from the High School Musical movies through her current movie.

Film Synopsis:

Just how fabulous do you have to be to make it big in the Big Apple? One aspiring diva is about to find out… the hard way! Ashley Tisdale shines in this totally captivating comedy.

After a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, Sharpay Evans (Tisdale) sets off for the bright lights of NYC, convinced instant fame and fortune are in the bag (designer, that is). But the theatre is a dog-eat-dog world, as she and Boi discover when they encounter the devious owner of a pampered Pooch named “Countess” and a scheming Broadway starlet who will do anything to crush the competition. Fortunately, Sharpay also meets Peyton (Austin Butler), a handsome student filmmaker who finds Sharpay nearly as fascinating as she finds herself.

Music From The Film:

On April 19th, the same day and date as the Blu-ray & DVD release, Walt Disney Records will be releasing six all-new songs featured in the movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure available for fans to purchase digitally on iTunes and Amazon.com. Songs include the upbeat lead track, “Gonna Shine,” sung by Ashley Tisdale. Grounded in a timeless Broadway style, other songs include “My Boi and Me” and the companion tune, “My Girl and Me” (the latter performed by Ashley Tisdale and co-star Shawn Molko). “New York’s Best Kept Secret” is a touchingly reflective ballad, while “The Rest of My Life” is an all-heart-all-hope pop gem. Lucas Grabeel, who co-starred as Ryan Evans in the “High School Musical” films alongside Ashley, sings the love song, “Baby” (Justin Bieber’s Top 10 hit).
