It’s not everyday you achieve a lifelong goal. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an overstatement, but I did fulfill a huge dream of mine when I attended the Wizards of Waverly Place filming on Tuesday (02/02/10) in Hollywood.
Now, if you follow Todd Greenwald on twitter, you would know that tuesday’s episode was huge: “Shooting another episode of Wizard’s today that I know many of you will be happy to see. That’s all I can say about it… Hehe.”
Now, I’m not gonna say anything about what happened in the episode except to say that it involves Wizards vs. Werewolves and that I took a picture with a certain blond that I’m sure you’ll recognize.
The coolest thing was that Bridgit Mendler actually remembered me from the Good Luck Charlie filming! Her GLC co-star Jason Dolley remembered me too. 🙂
Sorry, this was supposed to be about Wizards. I got to meet Selena, Jake, and David. No not David Henrie, David DeLuise.
He’s a really cool guy. Jake was fun to talk with as well. But of course, I was there to see Selena. And not only did I speak with her without making a fool of myself, I got a picture with her…
..and an awesome autograph to frame and hang on the wall. 🙂

I’m still shocked that they actually let us all play on the sets. The GLC filming kept us all up in the audience area.
But I actually got to walk around the Waverly sub station!
This was by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Trumping both my last meeting with Selena and my Ashley Tisdale concert.
But before I wrap up this post, I wanted to make sure you all know about the Save Wizards of Waverly Place movement hosted by Save Disney Shows.
Disney hasn’t yet renewed the series for season four. They’d be crazy not to, but this is the same company that canceled Phil of the Future after only two seasons. We need as many fans as possible to write to Disney and let them know that they need to order a fourth season. Hopefully we can nudge Disney into making the obvious decision before they do something really stupid…
I can try to imagine the joy you had and yeah this probably would trump the really cool Tizz concert just cause it was interactive for ya.
Plus that’s big if they actually remembered you from their GLC taping last month, so big ups on that.
And being able to walk around on the sets I am now super jealous but thx for the background pics. I like seeing where the set ends and what is behind there, plus just how many lights hang and all that good stuff.
But the autograph pic of Gomez is now your new crown jewel so 😀
The autograph didn’t scan very well, the original looks a lot better. It’s right next to me. I don’t want to let it out of my sight! 🙂

This was not the Wizards vs Werewolves episode that was seen on DC. This is from a new episode that will air later in the spring time, most likely I think to coincide with Good Luck Charlie’s airing. I respect not having the plot revealed as I want to watch the other new episodes before this one to stay in line.

It was a new episode. Justin finally gets some closure.
The live audience filming took about 3 hours, but about half the episode had already been shot and they showed us the tape of that.
I didn’t meet Maria. I wanted to, but I never saw her on the set after the show.
3 hours, that’s something I did not know and Maria would’ve been fun to meet.
Once the episode airs, I can time just how much of the actual episode they shot in front of us and how much they had to cut out, etc.
Oh cool, I would be very interested in that ratio and your comments, if can remember.

Well, I believe when it comes to love age doesn’t matter.
Look at Hayden & Milo from HEROES, he’s acctualy 12yrs older then her.
Yeah I know of that large age gap but for young people such as her at 21 it is really rare.
i actually pity greg. I mean being close to selna and not hitting on her – more than once, is just…ouch 🙁
If she’s still single in a couple years, who knows? 😉
I read the story of the upcoming Wizards of Waverly place episode titled “Positive Alex”.
It’s just wierd that Alex is already coming on to another guy after just breaking up with Mason.
As a script writer, the problem with Disney is, they don’t want to get in to the heavy acting (drama)that the characters end up being unreal and unrelatable.
It’s such a shame that Wizards always goes to the comedy. Selena and the others are acctually good actors, given the oppertunity.

It’s supposed to take place before Mason. Disney’s showing the eps out of order.
Oh I hate that the most G. Why do networks choose to air episodes out of order? All it does is confuse their audience. This is like a cardinal sin.

On a positive note, Selena becomes of legal age this year.

Did you see it live or is there a download link somewhere?
Cause Hannah Montana episodes can be downloaded or watched in the net even before there premier date.
They showed it to us at the studio before the live episode filming. 🙂
