I’m really excited! Disney’s actually letting one of their shows have a four episode arc. They’ve always been against this sort of plot building, instead preferring stand alone episodes because they tend to do better in reruns. So I’m very happy to see Wizards having this opportunity!

“Wizards of Waverly Place – Wizards vs. Vampires,” a four-episode programming event, follows the Russo family and their encounters with the Van Heusens, a family of vampires who own a competing sandwich shop, beginning FRIDAY, JULY 24 (8:00- 8:45 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Guest Starring is Bridgit Mendler (“JONAS”) as Justin’s vampire girlfriend, Juliet Van Heusen, and Anne Ramsay (“Mad About You”) and JD Cullum (“Good Night, and Good Luck”) as vampire parents Cindy and Alucard Van Heusen.

FRIDAY, JULY 24 (8:00 – 8:45 p.m., ET/PT)
• “Wizards vs. Vampires on Waverly Place” – Business at the Waverly Sub Station is slow after the opening of a new neighborhood sandwich shop owned by vampires. Jerry sends Justin to spy on the establishment, but Justin meets and ends up falling for Juliet, the daughter of the competing shop’s vampire owners.FRIDAY, JULY 31 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
• “Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites” – Justin’s new vampire girlfriend, Juliet, gets the Russos to change their lifestyle by adding healthy foods and exercise. However Alex is concerned about Juliet’s true intentions for Justin when she discovers that vampires like the taste of healthy blood.FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
• “Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date” – After Dean moves away, Alex continues to date him by using magic to enter his dreams. When he pays her a surprise visit and the real date isn’t as great as she had dreamt, she searches for a way to break up with him. Meanwhile, Justin tells his vampire girlfriend, Juliet, that he is not allowed to go on her family camping trip.FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
• “Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies” – Justin convinces Juliet that their prom date will be the most memorable ever. Meanwhile, Alex opts to plan a zombie themed anti-prom, but is unprepared for the real zombies that arrive for the ultimate prom dance off.
I can’t wait to see these episodes.
They should have waited till Halloween though.

there have been so many wowp episodes. an average “season” has about 20 to 24 episodes.wowp, so far, has 45 episodes,w/ at least 5 more that i know about and a movie. a 3rd season is being done right now. and m. cyrus signed for a 4th of h.m. maybe Selena will do the same.
I hope all of Alex’s blood stays inside her body.
Justin… I could go either way.
And mysphit, the four vampire episodes are the last of season two. The movie is done. And they’re filming season three now.

Halloween was a perfect holiday to do Wizards VS. Vampires. But I think Wisards VS. Vampires is copying the Twilight Saga! TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, BREAKING DAWN, ECLIPSE AND WIZRDS OF WAVERLY PLACE ROCK!
what i want to know is if the vampires will be in season 3?
Todd Greenwald posted a picture of David and Brigit on his Twitter that seemed to imply that Juliet would be back in Wizards season three. But she couldn’t have been in too many episodes ’cause Brigit’s should be working on her new show now.
i think that this show is amazing and aaaalllllll the cast members are great including……ALEX…. U R AMAZING AT WAT U DO. u bring the best in this show oh and no ofence to the other cast members but…. it is true. but if they replace u ….. i would say GOOD LUCK for the people who make the show and i hope that person is good and if not then to bad.
Perhaps Bridgit still can make a guest appearance on WOWP even if she is making GLC. Why would that be any different than Selena showing up on SWAC while making WOWP? (In fact, she was even called a “Wizard” on SWAC). I can’t remember if Selena was McKayla on HM before or after she started WOWP.
Bridgit’s made quite a few guest appearances on Wizards while shooting GLC. She’s been in four episodes we’ve already seen, and at least one more that only I’ve seen. 🙂
