This past Wednesday was the Iron Man 3 premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
And seeing as how Bella is basically the face of DC right now, it makes sense that she would be there. 🙂
She’s actually been hitting a lot of premieres recently.
She’s not filming Shake it Up right now (and it better get renewed for season four. Just sayin’) so I guess she’s got a bit of free time.
Still, we know she’s working on an album and just got signed to a book deal so she’s definitely keeping busy!
I’m not generally a fan of girls wearing their hair up like this, but I gotta say it worked well for her here.
I wasn’t as thrilled with the rest of her outfit but it works for her.
On the Bella board, bellamazing mentioned that she looked like a Geisha girl. I think he hit the nail on the head with that one.

Umm excuse me Greg but Debby is the face of DC right now, not Bella. Also, if Bella looks like a Geisha girl that’s ironic because since the Japanese use a lot of ginger in their cooking. 😛
It’s an unusual style choice, but she makes it work.
She looks good, but that outfit is AWFUL. 🙁
She is pretty and doubtless will grow into one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. One day she will make those lists of hot actresses and models but she has got To stop wearing her momma’s drapes! Tell me what she is wearing does not look like it started life as drapes or a tablecloth at grandmas house.
Greg, just curious, why do yo think she’s “the face of DC right now”? Seems like Zendaya’s the one getting all the exposure now with her success on DWTS, and Bridgit’s been getting a lot of exposure with her CD release. And like Arwin said, there’s that also ran Debby 🙂
cdog, without a doubt Bella is the most popular girl on DC right now. I would also argue that she’s the most talented, but I admit that’s a bit harder to prove.
Still, from all I’ve seen and heard both on line and at events, she’s still miles ahead of Zendaya. Debby’s getting too old for the core demo. And Bridgit? She’s not even as well known as Debby.
Greg, going by an an easy number, Bella has just short of 3 million followers, Zendaya 2.5 million, Debby has 2.1 million, Brigit 1.25 million, and the rest of the pack are all less than a million. Selena Gomez has 15 million currently, I remember it being around 8 million when she was still doing wizards).
Talent wise, I can’t agree. In the old triple threat categories, she’s certainly not the best singer (doesn’t even claim to sing), she’s not the best dancer. I’d give that to Zendaya (I refer you to the “Shake Santa Shake” video if you disagree, or any DWTS episode from the current season). And in terms of acting, I’m not sure I’d give any of the main Disney actress strong props. I’d put them all on roughly the same journeyman level. (though Bridgit did pretty well when she guest stared on “House”.) Don’t think Jenifer Laurence is worried about competition for Oscar. 🙂

Bella may be popular but she’s not nearly as popular as you say she is and she’s not the face the DC either. Zendaya has more talent in her little finger than Bella will ever have. I’m not a Bella hater, just telling it like it is.

Of course she’s the face of DC, she really doesn’t have any competition it terms of marketability. Debby Ryan doesn’t seem interested and her cast mates are just supporting actors; Olivia Holt is, at best, the deuteragonist on a spin-off network; Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato etc. aren’t actively doing anything with DC; The ANT Farm actors either look to young or aren’t main characters; Bridgit Mendler seems to belong with the older group; Caroline Sunshine played an antagonist and Zendaya went on DWTS. And the others have reasons too.
I don’t really think is an unquestionable “face” of DC at the moment. No one has reached Miley or Selena levels of popularity quite yet.
