Here’s a look at what’s happening on DC this month.
We start with a few new episodes tonight, followed by a two week lull and a fairly heavyly weighted end of month set of premieres. The biggest event of the month is also the last, when Carly Rae Jepsen guest stars on Shake it Up. 🙂

A.N.T. Farm “influANTces”
(8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
Chyna and the ANTs are tasked with creating a special project for Black History Month. As Chyna struggles to write a song for her presentation, she decides to lock herself in a recording booth until she comes up with a great song. After accidentally falling asleep, Chyna takes a dream journey back in time where she becomes famous African American music icons from the past, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Janet Jackson. Using her dream as inspiration, Chyna writes a new version of the “A.N.T. Farm” theme song, “Exceptional,” with lyrics that pay tribute to the great women who came before her.Friday, February 1
Jessie “Teacher’s Pest”
(8:30 PM – 9:00 PM ET/PT)
Zuri is having problems with a teacher (Cheri Oteri) at school, so, Jessie decides to volunteer in her classroom so she can assess the situation. Meanwhile, after Ravi finds out Mr. Kipling is in fact Mrs. Kipling, he struggles with his feelings over having a girl best friend.

Phineas and Ferb “My Sweet Ride”

It’s time for Danville’s Doo Wop Hop and car show and the whole town is getting prepped for it. Doofenshmirtz is set on winning the show even if it means using his Rust-inator to turn all the other cars into red dust. Meanwhile, Candace’s hope for a car of her own has come true, but it’s not quite all she imagined.Friday, February 15
Jessie “Jessie’s Big Break”

Guest Stars: Maia Mitchell, John DeLuca
Jessie gets her big break as a stunt double to popular Australian actress Shaylee Michaels (Maia Mitchell) and the two become fast friends. But chaos ensues when the movie’s director and Shaylee’s boyfriend, MCD (John DeLuca), asks Jessie out on a date. Meanwhile, Emma helps sneak Zuri’s pet zebra into the penthouse.

Gravity Falls “Boss Mabel”

When Mabel questions the way Stan runs the Shack, he challenges her to a bet – whoever can make the most money in three days wins the chance to run the Shack however they wish for the rest of the summer. Mabel takes the bet and implements a new bossing method that coddles her employees and gives them the freedom to follow their hopes and dreams. Unfortunately, the results are not as expected and Mabel finds herself just trying to get back some normalcy. Meanwhile, Grunkle Stan sets off to win big money on a television game show.Friday, February 15
Phineas and Ferb “Der Kinderlumper”

The boys create Rutabega-themed vehicles when Candace is chosen to be Rutabega princess and gets to start the “Running of the Chinchillas.” Across town, Doofenshmirtz plans to turn himself into a real live Kinderlumper to scare Roger into relinquishing control of the Tri-State Area over to him.Friday, February 15

When Koi feels pressure to fit in, she ends up letting the girls believe that she did some daring, dangerous and unbelievable feat. The news spreads and she welcomes the new found popularity. Went to an A.N.T. Farm taping last friday for a season 3 episode. Season 3 is radiaclly different. They in some Silicon Valley bilionaire’s school for prodigies. (Lexi is now a math prodigy (all that shopping gave her a knack for numbers)). All the origonal sets were gone, the sound stage was more than half empty, with 4 built up rooms (a student lounge, basically a larger version of the ANT lounge from seasons 1&2, and what looke like three different dorm rooms (China and Olive are roomates, as are Fletcher and Angus) and one under contruction that I couldn’t tell what it was. They showed the first episode from the season to explain the changes. Unfortunatelyno more Paisley (gonna miss Alexandria Deberry), no more Skidmore, and no more Gibson (ggod riddance) Cameron came for a ‘visit’ this episode, so not sure if we’ll see much of him or the parents. All in all, it’s a lot of big changes.
