Caroline Sunshine – Bella Thorne’s Quinceanera

We haven’t talked about Caroline all that much.

But it’s certainly not for a lack of trying!

This 17 year old blonde definitely has her fans, but playing the “mean girl” on Shake It Up would put anyone at a disadvantage.

Of course, the role does have it perks as Bella sure seems to love her: “caroline is the sunshine in my heart”

And I’m guessing that’s a big part of why she was at Bella’s Quinceanera

She didn’t wear a pink dress like most of the other girls, but wow does this look work for her.

If only they dressed “Tinka” more like that. 😉

  1. Wow, she looks really great here. We don’t get to see her too often, but when we do, she always looks great.

For the record, it would be nice to see her stuff like this when she’s Tinka, but at the same time, I like all of the wonky stuff that Tinka wears. It’s exciting.

  2. forgot to say; the reason she didn’t wear a pink dress is probably because she wasn’t a member of the quinceañera’s “court” (they usually wear matching dresses) and just a guest.

For those unfamiliar with a quinceañera, the birthday girl usually has a court of 15 of her friends (girls) and their escorts. The event can usually cost way more than a wedding.

  3. I’ve see one bikini shot of her from some movie from before she was on SIU. She was good, but the pictures weren’t.

I’m bummed, too. She always in the opening credits of SIU, but I never see her on the show. What, they can’t find a role for her without Gunther? I suppose it’s hard to have a mean girl without a partner in crime.

  4. It’s not up to Bella to decide. It’s like an invitation girls send to their friends to see if they would like to be in the court because not only does the invitee have to find (and pay) for the dress, they also have to find a guy to escort them and pay for the tux/suit as well.

There’s a very good chance that Caroline was invited, but perhaps she just wanted to be a guest, not in the court.

  5. @Bill – the movie you’re thinking of is Marmaduke, and yes, she was awesome in the movie, but it was an ugly swimsuit, plus she’s so much better looking now.

What I like best about Caroline is that she’s smart, talented and very down to earth. From what she writes on her twitter, she seems to be a very “normal” girl and someone I wouldn’t mind meeting. I loved her cover of the B-52s’ “Roam”.
