Attention please: DC Fans, Nickelodeon Girls, and SWAC Forum will be unavailable Saturday, February 25, 2012 from approximately 7AM until 7PM Eastern Time.
Our host company will be experiencing a power loss in the building that houses the servers. This is a one time interruption while the power supply to the building is upgraded. With any luck, the site will be back up sooner… but we’ll see how it goes.
As a valued customer, we are committed to keeping you informed about any changes in the status of your service with us. This email is to alert you regarding maintenance we will be performing on our facility. The building has informed us that “Oak Tower is scheduled to have a power outage for switch gear maintenance Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 6am to 6pm. During this time the main gear will be load tested and cleaned, the building will have no power.”. We have decided to use this time to do maintenance to our network and power equipment as well. I have been informed after discussions with the building that the maintenance may be completed before the end of the maintenance window in which case service will be restored at that time. I understand this is a inconvenience and have been assured this is a one time necessary maintenance procedure and once done will increase the reliability of the building power.
I also just realized if I post the news here, you won’t actually be able to see it when the site is down. xD So, um, if you do see this, please tell everyone else what’s going on. Thanks!
