@AlexKade13 was on the set yesterday for an exclusive filming set up for her by Creator Todd Greenwald himself. She says of the episode they shot: “Todd specifically told us not to say anything about the ep since it’s the season finale, in particular.”

Then today, Selena tweeted this picture of their “last table read of season 3…. ”

But, if they filmed the episode yesterday, why the table read today? That seems backward. Maybe she meant to say it was yesterday? Either that or there’s one more episode after the one Alex saw yesterday.

Anyway, we’re pretty sure that the show has been renewed for a fourth season. Todd just tweeted this picture:

With the caption: “Relax everybody. Now you can go back to not doing your homework. ”

Selena added: “P.s. Wizards is not over. We’ll be back ”

Which I guess is as close to a confirmation of a renewal as we’re likely to get.

For this reason, we will be suspending the Save Wizards campaign until further notice. And if something changes, we’ll be ready and waiting.

Hellcats” centers on a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks (Michalka) who, after losing her scholarship because of budget cutbacks and her mother’s (Gail O’Grady) chronic irresponsibility, joins the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team.

The CW pilot Hellcats, produced by Tom Welling, now has cast its lead actress as well as another role.

Aly Michalka (Phil of the Future) plays a “college girl from the wrong side of the tracks” who loses her scholarship due to budget cutbacks and her mother’s continuous irresponsibility. Her mother will be played by Gail O’Grady (NYPD Blue, Hidden Palms).

The pilot, which will be directed by Allan Arkush and feature many Smallville folks in the behind-the-scenes crew, starts shooting in April, soon after Smallville wraps for the season.

Okay, so there’s not much here to go on, but I’m still excited. I’ve loved Aly ever since her work on Phil of the Future and I’m giddy just at the thought of seeing her on TV again.

From the looks of the plastic wrap around the cameras, I don’t think the weather was cooperating that day…

Anyway, Debby looks amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing this movie.

“16 Wishes” – This movie comedy, starring Debby Ryan (Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life on Deck”) and Jean-Luc Bilodeau (ABC Family’s “Kyle XY”), tells the story of Abby, a girl who’s been eager to reach her 16th birthday and has kept a secret wish list since she was a little girl. But, when the big day actually arrives, she makes a wish that changes everything. The movie is a co-production of MarVista Entertainment and Disney Channel, and is slated to premiere on Disney Channel in the U.S. in summer 2010.

They’re gonna air the show immediately following the DC premiere of High School Musical 3. A year ago I would have considered that a major event, but it’s been loon enough that I think most HSM fans have already watched their DVD copies several hundred times.

Personally, I would have gone with a Wizards marathon or a Minutemen & Hatching Pete double feature lead in, but for some strange reason, Disney Channel programing never seems to ask my opinion…

A SUPERHERO EPISODE OF “PHINEAS AND FERB,”
PREMIERING MONDAY, MARCH 8 ON DISNEY XD

Emmy Award-winning Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor guest star in an action-packed episode of TV’s #1 animated series for kids and tweens, “Phineas and Ferb,” premiering MONDAY, MARCH 8 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. It will also be presented Friday, March 12 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The real-life husband and wife are the parents of “Phineas and Ferb” fans.

In the episode entitled “The Beak,” Stiller voices a super villain and Taylor plays his nagging wife. Stiller’s character arrives in Danville to challenge Phineas and Ferb after the boys are mistaken as a superhero (while wearing an indestructible suit they designed to safely conquer their newly built extreme skate-track) known as The Beak. With the super villain wreaking havoc, it’s up to Phineas and Ferb to thwart him while Dr. Doofenshmirtz tells the people of the Tri-State area that he is in charge, in hopes that they will actually just go along with it.

“Phineas and Ferb” airs on Disney XD and Disney Channels in more than 135 countries and in 26 languages around the world. In the U.S., “Phineas and Ferb” has ranked as TV’s #1 animated series among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 for two consecutive years. In addition, “Phineas and Ferb” is Disney XD’s #1 animated series in key demos. The series carries a TV-G parental guideline.

It looks like they’re giving the series a bit of a “reboot” – probably in response to season one’s sub-par ratings.

Production has begun in and around Los Angeles on the second season of the Teen Choice Award-winning comedy series, “JONAS,” starring global sensations Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas and popular actresses Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. The new season finds the Lucas brothers and friends Stella and Macy spending a summer in Hollywood.

In Season Two of “JONAS,” rock stars Kevin, Joe and Nick Lucas have landed in Los Angeles, where they have rented a Hollywood Hills house and will experience a summer like no other when their relaxing vacation turns into three life-changing opportunities: Joe lands a prized role in a big Hollywood film, Kevin indulges his newfound passion for the movie business by shadowing a famous director, and Nick takes up surfing and feverishly works on his first passion – writing songs for the new JONAS album. Completing the entourage are the guys’ best friends, Stella Malone, who continues to grapple with being more than just a friend to Joe, and Macy Misa, who keeps all the fans up to date with her JONAS V-log.

Recurring guest stars are Debi Mazar (“Entourage”) as Mona, the mercurial and eccentric film director at the helm of the movie Joe stars in; Adam Hicks (of Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) as DZ, the brothers’ posturing neighbor; and Abby Pivaronas (“Lincoln Heights”) as Vanessa Page, Joe’s beautiful movie co-star. Chaperoning the fun are the Lucas Brothers’ friend and chief of security, Big Man (played by Jonas Brothers’ real-life chief of security, Rob Feggans), and Stella’s Aunt Lisa, played by Beth Crosby (“All My Children”). Throughout the season, “JONAS” will feature all-new original songs performed by Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas.

“JONAS” is executive-produced by Lester Lewis (“The Office,” “The Larry Sanders Show”) and Paul Hoen (director and co-producer of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” DGA Award-winning director of “Jump In!,” and “The Cheetah Girls One World,” among others). Save Wizards Day & The Work Ahead

Our first Save Wizards day was this past friday the 26th. The email stats show a 10% increase over our unofficial Wizards email day earlier in the month, which is an encouraging sign, but no where near what we need!

To those of you who are doing your part, thank you, please keep it up. But we need the rest of you to step up! Wizards of Waverly Place will stop filming this month. And the show still hasn’t been renewed!

I know a lot of fans of the show are skeptical that the show needs our help, but IT DOES. Look at our track record, SDS has always been out front trying to raise awareness of these problems so that the fans have an opportunity to fight back. Even if you’re not a fan yourself, we need your help to get the word out. Once the show stops airing new episodes people will catch on, but history has shown us that by then, it might be too late.

Our next Save Wizards day is March 19th. This is our last best chance to save the show. We need it as big as possible.

Sonny with a Chance Season Two Premieres March 14th!

“Walk A Mile In My Pants” – Sonny rallies everyone together for a “Walk-A-Thon For Books” and gets Tawni to donate her “Tawni Hart’s Extreme Skinny Jeans” for all of the participants to wear. Eventually everyone starts dropping out as a result of SPS – Skinny Pants Syndrome, in a new episode of “Sonny With A Chance,” SUNDAY, MARCH 14 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Aly & AJ Split with Hollywood Records

Phil of the Future fans are probably interested in the fact that Aly has broken her last official ties with Disney and have left Hollywood Records!

Hey guys…so we know it’s been quiet in the 78violet camp but we want to first off thank you for sticking with us. We have some big news and wanted to make sure you hear it first.

Now that it’s official, we can tell you we’re no longer a part of Hollywood Records. What does that mean exactly??? Now we have the freedom to take 78violet in the direction we want. We’re writing and recording new music and are really excited on what’s next.

So…what is next? As for the album we recorded for Hollywood, honestly, we don’t foresee it ever being released. But…we are continuing to write and record new songs that we hope you’ll love as much as we do.

We’re going to be taking the Aly & AJ website down in the meantime which means the current message board will be removed and the accounts you created on the site will be put on hold. Yes…major bummer. But we’ll have a new message board and a new temporary site up in a few days that will serve as our main communication with you for the time being.

I obviously don’t know all the details, but something here just doesn’t add up. Why not release the third album with Hollywood, make a good deal of money from it, and then shop for a new record deal while riding the wave of that album? This sounds a lot like when Aly and her mom walked away from Phil of the Future for a new show with AJ that eventually never happened.

Good Luck Charlie Update

Most will probably remember that Webmaster Greg went to a filming for Good Luck Charlie last December. At that filming, he got to see the first episode and the one they shot that day, #111 “Kit and Kaboodle.” Well, he decided once wasn’t enough and went again on February 12th. That Friday’s episode was #118, “Butt-Dialing Duncans.” We don’t want to give too much away, but we will say that Teddy and PJ get new phones which get themselves in a little bit of trouble.
