February Disney Channel Highlights
This month kicks off with a new Wizards of Waverly Place three part special, “Wizards vs. Angels.”Later in the month, there are a couple new Good Luck Charlie (Season Two!) and Shake it Up episodes. And as usual, a bunch of random Fish Hooks episodes scattered about. Meanwhile, Hannah Montana is finished and The Suite Life on Deck is almost finished with it’s run. Sonny with a Chance has just begun filming Season 3 which should begin airing later this year (more on that below).
Lilo returns to Stitch! the Japanese animated series! The new series has been controversial from the start because Lilo supposedly “ditched” Stitch for her new BF. On the upcoming season 3 episode “Zutto Saiko no Tomodachi”, Lilo makes her way overseas for a reunion with Stitch. And Jess Winfield himself tells us that Save Disney Shows played a part in making it happen!
Disney executives announced today that the hit Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb is being developed for a new theatrical movie. Disney’s head of production and Tron: Legacy producer Sean Bailey is developing the project.
The project is still in early stages of development, although it was said to be a combination of live-action and animated elements. No story details were given.
By now, most people should already know that Camp Rock & Sonny with a Chance star Demi Lovato is out of treatment and back in LA. With any luck, she should be getting back to work on Sonny within the next few weeks. Meanwhile, the taping for the first episode of Season 3 “So Random Style” took place this past Tuesday February 1st in Hollywood without Demi present.

New DCOM: Lemonade Mouth
Disney is clearly hoping to find a new High School Musical…
Themes of believing in yourself, following your dreams, celebrating family and staying true to yourself are explored in the triumphant, music-driven “Lemonade Mouth,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the book of the same name, set to premiere FRIDAY, MARCH 25 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Geared towards kids, tweens and families, “Lemonade Mouth” tells the story of how a powerhouse band came to be after five uncelebrated students with a passion for music find each other and ultimately become the voice of their generation.
Robin Agranoff has been promoted to vice president, Programming, Disney Channels, it was announced [this month] by Paul DeBenedittis, senior vice president, Programming Strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide, to whom she will report. She continues to be responsible for managing programming planning and scheduling for ratings leader Disney Channel, its learning-focused block for preschoolers, Playhouse Disney (soon to be rebranded Disney Junior) and ABC Kids.
And Jess Winfield himself tells us that Save Disney Shows played a part in making it happen.
Hi Laramie,
So the cat is out of the bag about the Lilo episode! I didn’t respond to your last e-mail because I’ve known about it for some time, but I really couldn’t really talk about it until it was “public.”
A return of Lilo, and explanation of where she is and what happened with her and Stitch, is something I’ve been pushing for since I first became involved in the project. I can be very persistent, and I got my wish. I haven’t had much involvement yet with Season Three, but I did consult with Japanese team about this story. I’ll warn you that not all of my suggestions were necessarily followed (I haven’t seen the final episode yet); this is their show. But I was able to give some input, I know some details of the story, and I think you and your crew will find it compelling and controversial (in a good way).
I hope you feel some pride in the progress of the Stitch story. It was fans’ concern (back on TV Tome) about the “missing experiments” in the US series that led me to personally write “Snafu” to try and address them. And I sent copies of some “What happened to Lilo?” posts from your “shout-out” page to executives at Disney Channel here and in Japan to help convince them that fans desperately wanted Lilo to make an appearance in “Stitch!”
In short: you and your community are ohana; and you’ve totally rung up a good deed!
Aloha and ichariba chodei,
Jess
Many congratulations to the Save our Stitch movement on this hard fought victory.
I’d like to take this opportunity to share a few words from the leader of the movement.
This really doesn’t change much for us, as far as out mission goes. It’s still business as usual. Two big things that we should already be fighting for, and will continue to fight for: First, as you are well aware Disney has basically put every pre-2005 cartoon in the vault, so they can show repeat after repeat of the same sitcoms. Can you believe there are only 2 cartoons in active production?! Lilo & Stitch the Series needs to get back on air. Morning slot, it doesn’t matter. It needs to come back. As do many others, such as Kim Possible, ADJL, etc. And second, the English translated Stitch! needs to be released in the US. While I’m glad for YouTube, I’m ticked (to say the least) that every other country except for us have been able to watch this series. Those are our main goals, and will continue to be. But of course we will still continue to fight for another season of Lilo & Stitch the Series, more DVDs, more merchandise etc. The usual stuff. Business as usual. But we can bask a bit too and enjoy this victory for Save Lilo & Stitch and Lilo & Stitch fans everywhere. Lilo is not a bad person. We always knew that. And hopefully everyone else will know now too.

Save Disney Shows has a New Look!
Save Disney Shows is proud to unveil our brand new and completely redesigned website. Webmaster Greg has built the new site completely from scratch, while still incorporating many of the unique tools and resources we have developed for our various movements over the years.
The new main page provides one click access to our most important sections on it’s standard left sidebar and convently displaysboth the next scheduled event and newest SDS news article on the right.
We’ve also redesigned each individual show’s section to mirror the format of the general SDS pages. Each individual show has it’s own unique themeing and also features customized information, news, and contacts most relevant to that particular show. However, many of our show sections like are still using temporary graphics. If you’d like to help us finish the site with your own personal touch, please email or tweet us.
New Movements Founded for JONAS (LA) and Sonny with a Chance
Disney has declined to renew the revamped J.O.N.A.S. / JONAS LA series for a third season citing among other issues, scheduling concerns.
In light of this development, and given the fact that the second season was considerably better than the first season, we have established a “Save JONAS” movement for the fans that have been asking for one. You can learn more here.
It’s no secret that Demi Lovato, Sonny Munroe herself, has fallen on some rather hard times recently. And with all the uncertainty surrounding her future availability, it’s hard to say what will happen to the show. The general consensus seems to indicate that the show will continue for season three, with or without her. Here at SDS, we seek to ensure both that the show continues and that it continues with Demi in her lead role.
As the first filming dates grow closer, we will continue to monitor the situation and possibly begin planning of future events as necessary on our new Save SWAC website.
December Disney Channel Highlights
The December schedule looks like it will rely fairly heavily on new episodes of Disney’s two new shows, Fish Hooks and Shake it Up.
There are also two new Wizards, a special Hannah, the Good Luck Charlie episode Webmaster Greg went to the filming for, and even a Christmas themed Suite Life: “A London Carol” – Cody and Bailey approach their friends to help out with their charity event, but London refuses. But when her magic mirror takes her to her past, present and future, she learns the importance of giving and being a good friend.

New Disney Channel Series: A.N.T. Farm
Disney Channel has ordered the live-action comedy series, “A.N.T. Farm” (working title), it was announced today by Gary Marsh, President, Entertainment, and Chief Creative Officer, Disney Channels Worldwide. “A.N.T. Farm” will begin production in early 2011.
The series stars 12-year-old China McClain (“House of Payne”) as middle schooler Chyna Sparks, a music prodigy who gets into a gifted program, Accelerated Natural Talent, at the local high school. She, along with her fellow ANTS, must now navigate the halls of high school where they’re not particularly fond of grade-skipping newbies.
Walt Disney Co. profit sank 7 percent during the final three months of its fiscal year, disappointing Wall Street as one-time adjustments dragged down the company’s television networks and theme parks and more than offset gains from the blockbuster movie “Toy Story 3.”
Disney made $835 million during the quarter, which ended Oct. 2, down from $895 million last year. Revenue dipped 1 percent to $9.7 billion.
Disney’s full-year profit leapt 20 percent to just under $4 billion on revenue that was up 5 percent to $38.1 billion, thanks in large part to continuing advertising and affiliate-fee gains at ESPN and a slate of hit films that included “Toy Story 3,” “Alice in Wonderland” and Marvel Entertainment’s “Iron Man 2.”
Disney President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger called the year “a good one financially and strategically for our company.”
Operating profit at Disney’s media networks, which include ESPN, tumbled 18 percent from last year to $1.2 billion during the quarter but climbed 8 percent to $5.1 billion for the year.
Hey Disney fans, I hope you all don’t mind my taking a moment to let you all know about the G2I Media Store.
It started as an outlet for rare and out of print disney CDs and DVDs like Aly and AJ’s first CD single for “Do You Believe in Magic” or the “Stuck in the Suburbs” soundtrack.
Since then the store has expanded to include a wide collection of Disney pins such as this Limited Edition High School Musical 3 pin or this great Sonny with a Chance logo pin!

Selena Gomez on Lopez Tonight
Ever wonder what goes into filming a late night talk show like Lopez Tonight? Webmaster Greg recently attended a taping for this TBS talk show to see that day’s special guest, Selena Gomez.
Besides being a very interesting interview, Greg noticed and commented on some of the editing tricks they use to hide mistakes, rough cuts, and Selena’s tendency to touch her face while talking.

Disney Channel October Highlights
Disney Channel is rolling out a lot of new episodes as part of their “October Takeover” Halloween promotion. Highlights include the season finale of Wizards of Waverly Place and JONAS LA.
There’s also a new Halloween special for Sonny with a Chance and The Suite Life on Deck (which Webmaster Greg says is a really good episode, and he would know because he went to the filming for that episode).
The Suite Life on Deck is also having a special cross over episode with Disney XD’s I’m In The Band.
A full list of new episodes coming in October along with episode air dates and summaries is available on the DC Fans Blog.
SDS Fundraising Drive
I would like to thank you all for your support during our last fundraising drive. With your help we where able to renew most of our summer domains, including SaveDisneyShows.com, SaveKimPossible.org, SaveWitch.com, LiloAndStitch.org among others.
However, we are once again in need of your support. Our hosting package for SDS and all it’s affiliated websites expires this month. Can you contribute $5, $10, $20? Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds received will be applied to our upcoming hosting renewal and to keep our campaigns running.
Well, it’s official. Disney is making a Suite Life DCOM. There have been rumors of one circulating for a while, but what they’ve actually come up for the plot seems rather strange.
As the story goes, teenage twins Cody and Zack Martin receive an opportunity to participate in the prestigious Gemini Project at a high-tech research center that studies the dynamics between twins. Soon they find themselves connected in a way they’ve never been before: When one twin experiences a sensation, thought or feeling, the other twin feels it too. While this newfound power helps the boys see eye to eye for the first time, it ultimately puts them in more danger than they could have imagined.
Is this how Disney really intends to end the series?
Halloween is by far the best recruiting day of the year. All year long we spend a lot of time encouraging everyone to get out there and find more people who don’t yet know about our movement(s). This might be by posting flyers around town, wearing SDS merchandise, and/or by posting about us online.
But on Halloween, kids (and their parents) come right to your door. So put a couple flyers on it. Or pass out handouts with the candy. It’s a great opportunity for near free promotion that should not be wasted. Start printing your flyers and handouts now!
For your convenience, we’ve organized our available flyers and handouts on our Halloween Bash Website. Spread the Word!
Hannah Montana Soundtrack
We all know that Hannah Montana season four will be the last for this series. And as a result, the last Hannah Montana soundtrack will be released this month.
The album covers much musical ground, from intimate ballads to straight-up high-voltage pop. “Gonna Get This” is a synth-laden pop duet between Miley and the Caribbean-based singer Iyaz, while the harmony-rich “Need a Little Love” pairs Miley with legendary singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow. Miley and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, sing together the ballad “Love That Lets Go,” a fitting tribute to their close relationship, both on screen and off. The sentiment continues on “Been Here All Along” and the wistful farewell, “I’ll Always Remember You.” But the album kicks into high gear with upbeat rockers like “Kiss It Goodbye,” “I’m Still Good,” and the club anthem “Are You Ready.” The soulful “Ordinary Girl,” “Que Sera” and the explosive pop of “Barefoot Cinderella” round out the album’s 11 tracks.
Speaking of new Disney CDs, the greatest Disney girl still on the network, Selena Gomez, just released her sophomore album A Year Without Rain.
Selena’s new album doesn’t disappoint. From the title track “A Year Without Rain” to her single “Round & Round” this album really delivers. But if you want more, check out Webmaster Greg’s concert videos from Selena’s sold out show at the LA County Fair.
And this has absolutely nothing to do with Disney, but over very own Webmaster Greg was lucky enough to hang out with some Nickelodeon stars including Ariana Grande of Victorious and the great Dan Schneider, creator of All That, The Amanda Show, Kenan and Kel, Zoey 101, iCarly, and more. It was all part of a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Well, now Disney has announced Lee’s replacement, Michael Riley, formerly of Radio Disney. Disney describes him as a “Respected television and radio executive” but only time will tell if he is up to the task of running the continually under-performing and under-promoted ABC Family channel.
“Ten-Things Mob” has organized a Protest outside Disney/ABC headquarters to get 10 Things I Hate About You renewed. This is not a sanctioned SDS event and we have no connection to the organizers of this event. But we did want our members to at least know about this event. You can find out more about the event on their facebook page.
Fish Hooks Premieres September 24th!
“Fish Hooks,” an imaginative, eye-catching and funny animated series revolving around three tweens, Milo, Bea and Oscar (who happen to be fish), as they navigate the choppy waters of high school, will premiere FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Created by children’s book illustrator and author Noah Z. Jones (“Not Norman,” “The Monster in the Backpack”), the series is produced using an innovative mixture of digital animation and photo collage. It stars Kyle Massey (“Cory in the House”) as Milo, Chelsea Staub (“JONAS L.A.”) as Bea and Justin Roiland (“The Sarah Silverman Program”) as Oscar. Recurring guest stars include comedian Rachel Dratch (“Saturday Night Live”), exercise guru Richard Simmons, comedic legend Jerry Stiller (“The King of Queens”), ABC TV star Atticus Shaffer (“The Middle”) and Edie McClurg (“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”), among others.
Maxwell Atoms (“The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy”) is the executive producer and Noah Z. Jones is the co-executive producer. Carl Greenblatt (“Chowder”) and Bill Reiss (“Chowder”) direct the episodes.
Disney has formally announced the renewal of the Disney XD original series Zeke and Luther for a third season.
Disney XD has ordered a third season of the hit comedy series “Zeke and Luther.” The announcement was made today by Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide. New episodes of the buddy comedy about two best friends determined to achieve epic skateboarding status will begin production fall 2010 in and around southern California. Starring are popular teen actors Hutch Dano, Adam Hicks, Ryan Newman and Daniel Curtis Lee.
In making the announcement, Marsh said: “We have great comedic talent on camera and behind the scenes, and we join its growing fan base in looking forward to a third season of the unique and relatable storytelling that has made ‘Zeke and Luther’ so popular, especially among boys.”
Be watching for Bridgit Mendler’s new DCOM ” Lemonade Mouth” sometime later this year or next. It sounds like they’re trying to make another High School Musical to me.
Production has begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the music-driven “Lemonade Mouth,” a Disney Channel Original Movie that tells kids and tweens that building your confidence rocks and finding your destiny rules. The story follows five disparate high school students who meet in detention, realize they are destined to rock, and ultimately form a band that becomes a champion for students sidelined by the high school elite.
Starring are: Bridgit Mendler (Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Charlie”) as lead vocalist Olivia White, Adam Hicks (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) as keyboardist Wen Giford, Hayley Kiyoko (Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place”) as electric guitarist Stella Yamada, Naomi Scott (Disney Channel UK’s “Life Bites”) as bass guitarist Mohini, Blake Michael (who was discovered during an open casting call conducted by Disney Channels Worldwide) as percussionist Charlie Delgado, Nick Roux as Scott Pickett, Chris Brochu as Ray Beach from rival band Mudslide Crush, Tisha Campbell-Martin (“My Wife and Kids”) as music teacher Miss Reznick and Christopher McDonald (“Family Law”) as Principal Brenigan.

Paul Lee Promoted to President of ABC
ABC Family’s management only gave Ruby 10 episodes and ended 10 Things after only one season. Is this the kind of management Paul Lee will be bringing to the ABC Network?
The 50-year-old, London-born Lee, a former BBC television executive, [and current ABC Family President] will oversee creative and business operations for the broadcast network as well as ABC Studios, the company’s in-house TV production unit. It’s a massive job for the executive, who has spent the last decade keeping a modest profile at mid-size cable channels.
But Disney executives are confident that Lee is up to the task. They point to Lee’s variety of skills, which include producing and directing made-for-TV movies. He worked on spicy telenovelas, a staple of Spanish-language television.
In 2Q10, “Good Luck Charlie” ranked as the No. 1 series on television among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, posting double-digit gains year to year among both demographics and defeating its time period competition by triple digits.
Good Luck Charlie has clearly gotten some pretty impressive ratings, so it’s no surprise that Disney has picked up the show for another season. However, it is a little surprising that they’ve already ordered a movie!
This month’s new DCOM, Den Brother, premieres August 13th on Disney Channel. The movie stars Hutch Dano (Zeke and Luther) and G. Hannelius (Sonny With A Chance).
Hutch Dano and James Gaisford on the Den Brother Set
In the movie, 16-year-old hockey star Alex Pearson gets suspended from his team after showboating during a game, and to his dismay, finds himself filling in as a Bumble Bee Troop leader for his little sister Emily’s troop. He must pose as the troop’s elderly den mother from time to time but thinks it’s a small price to pay, especially since he can get Emily and the girls to do his chores and make him snacks in exchange for merit badges. Even more advantageous, Alex has the opportunity to get closer to the beautiful Matisse Burrows, leader of another Bumble Bee Troop. However, when his self-centered antics cost Emily and her friends an opportunity to participate in the long-anticipated Camporee, Alex finally sees how he has affected those he cares about and must devise a plan that will get his troop into the camp.
Disney is premiering several new Hannah, Sonny, Wizards, Charlie, On Deck, and JONAS LA episodes this August! The full list is much too long for this email alert, so be sure to click the link below to read the full article.
You heard about it here first! Disney Channel’s next live action series (and the replacement for Hannah Montana) began filming in LA last month, and Webmaster Greg has the inside scoop from the filming of the second episode.
In the pilot we are introduced to best friends CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya Coleman). … At school, we meet Deuce (Adam Irigoyen) … [who] also had an important gift for the girls, a flier with the info to audition for a dance show called “Shake it Up Chicago.” Rocky is reluctant, but CeCe insists that they give it a try – it is their dream to be professional dancers after all. … Anyway, CeCe and Rocky audition for the show and through no fault of her own CeCe is eliminated. Rocky makes it, but doesn’t want to go without her BFF. CeCe insists that Rocky follow through with her dream and marches her to the studio – with Rocky still in her pajamas. This next segment was very Hannah Montana-esque as CeCe helped Rocky change into her dance clothes during the live show. Fortunately, the host thought more of it than [Greg] did, because instead of firing Rocky, he asked both girls to stay on the show. And that is how these two best friends ended up on TV.
This show plays upon familiar themes and is no way groundbreaking, but it’s a solid effort and is likely to become a a big hit. The star of the show, Bella Thorne, is clearly very talented and as the first of the next generation of DC stars is likely to become the next Miley – and we mean that in a good way!

Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure
Ashley Tisdale reprised her role as Sharpay Evans in a new DCOM filming now for a 2011 release. Joining her are Austin Butler (Aliens in the Attic, Ruby & the Rockits) and Bradley Steven Perry (Good Luck Charlie).
In the movie, a New York casting director spots aspiring thespian Sharpay Evans performing with her dog, Boi, at a charity gala and offers to arrange an audition for a new Broadway musical. Sharpay packs her bags with Boi in tow and heads to the Big Apple to fulfill her destiny on Broadway. Her father has given her one month to make it to center stage, or else she will have to return home and learn the family business. However Sharpay’s dreams are turned upside down when she discovers the Broadway role is really for Boi, not her. Pushing her disappointment aside, Sharpay sets out to make Boi the most fabulous canine to hit the Great White Way.
Okay, not all of the caps that we used to have, but we’ve made a lot of progress restoring the galleries. So far we’ve restored Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place, and The Suite Life on Deck.
Anyway, we’re still missing some of the newer episodes, but everything that we had in the old gallery for these three shows is back up and we will continue adding more.
Air dates for the first three Hannah Season Four episodes, plus new episodes of Wizards, Sonny, On Deck, Charlie, and JONAS LA are all coming in July! The full list is too long for this email alert, so be sure to click the link below to read the full article.

Our first Save 10 Things Day
ABC Family’s 10 Things was canceled last month, and the series finale ended on a cliff hanger! It sounds like the decision was primarily made in response to lower than expected ratings. Which means that a sizable fan campaign has a reasonable chance of convincing the company to continue to invest in the show.

Disney has ordered “Shake It Up!,” a buddy comedy centered around a teen dance show, created by Chris Thompson (“Laverne and Shirley,” “Bosom Buddies,” “The Truth,” “Action”) and executive-produced by Thompson and Rob Lotterstein (“The War at Home,” “Ellen”). Marsh said, “Newcomers Bella Thorne and Zendaya make for one of the most likable and engaging BFF duos we’ve ever seen. And while buddy comedies have been around since the start of television, what makes ‘Shake It Up’ unique is that this is the first time anyone has incorporated dancing into the underlying premise of a sitcom.”
As this newsletter comes to a close, we wanted to apologize for being a few days late. This has been a crazy week for Webmaster greg, which ended with an unbelievable event this past Friday night. Greg attended the filming for one of the last season two episodes of Sonny with a Chance!
This was episode 222 “Sonny with a Choice” directed by Eric Dean Seaton. … don’t want to give away much on the plot. This is a episode for the overall season two storyline and it wouldn’t be fair to you all to spoil how it ends. In this episode, So Random and MacKenzie Falls are both nominated for the Tween Choice award for best Tween show, which causes some (additional) friction between the two casts. … Needless to say, people where impressed. Ezra took a moment then to mention that I had a fansite to one of the showrunners. I think it was creator Steve Marmel, but I’m not sure.
You can read more about the filming at the DC Fans Blog and discuss the show at the SWAC Forum.

Save 10 Things I Hate About You!
The news broke via twitter Thursday evening that ABC Family’s 10 things has been canceled! Series Creator and Executive Producer Carter Covington tweeted on thursday: “Sad news… ABCFamily canceled the show Thanks 2 our AMAZING fans – U R the reason I do this! Enjoy the last 5 eps – they’re fantastic!”
It sounds like the decision was primarily made in response to lower than expected ratings. Which means that a sizable fan campaign has a reasonable chance of convincing the company to continue to invest in the show. So spread the word, and do it quickly! We need as many people as possible to write and call Disney and politely ask them to renew the show.
The following is a message from separate group seeking to save Legend of the Seeker. They are still organizing their movement, but we wanted to do our part to spread awareness of their cause. You can connect with other Seeker fans here.
Legend of the Seeker is a Disney syndicated show that is based on The Sword of Truth fantasy novels by Terry Goodkind. On March 4, 2010 it was announced that Tribune/WGN had decided not to renew the series for a third season, but there was still a chance that the series would not be canceled. However, this past Monday, April 26, 2010, it was reported by Ausiello that Legend of the Seeker has been canceled. Despite the fact that the show had almost no promotion and an incredibly erratic airing schedule (4pm sometimes, 1am other times), it still averaged 2.5 million viewers (Nielsen ratings). The “Save Our Seeker” movement has been launched in response to the cancellation of the series.
The Suite Life on Deck Season Three Filming
Last week Webmaster Greg was fortunate enough to attend the live audience filming for The Suite Life on Deck. Unfortunately, the filming ran long and as a result there wasn’t an opportunity for an autograph session with the cast. Greg had hoped to have an opportunity to discuss the possibility of a fourth season with the cast and crew. That didn’t happen; so we want to hear from you! Should we organize a stand by Save the Suite Life campaign? Or are three seasons enough? Email Webmaster Greg and let us know what you think!

Camp Rock 2 Update
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, the sequel to 2008′s Camp Rock, will premiere Friday September 3rd on Disney Channel. It will be preceded by the “biggest summer-long experience ever presented by the channel” including a world wide concert tour staring the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and “Camp Rock Friends.”
The Disney XD original series I’m In The Band will be returning for Season 2. Season one ended production some time ago, so we’re glad to see Disney Channel’s Gary Marsh formally announce the new season. The creators have developed a unique premise for a show, and assembled a perfect cast to pull it off.
A second season of “I’m In The Band,” a music-filled, live-action comedy series about a teenager who realizes his wildest dream when he joins his favorite “vintage” rock band, has been ordered by Disney XD, … The new season finds the band inching their way closer to an epic comeback and includes a one-hour special where Tripp joins arch-rival rock band Metal Wolf. Iron Weasel attempts to lure him back during Metal Wolf’s performance at the Super Bowl, and by happenstance, ends up stealing the spotlight.
Webmaster Greg also attended Emily Osment’s concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim on April 25th. Emily preformed all six songs from her EP, a cover of Radiohead’s “High and Dry,” and five new songs from her upcoming album.
Videos of Emily’s performance and of her opening act Allstar Weekend are posted on the DC Fans Blog.
