Posted on: Thursday, October 27th, 2011 in: Kelsey ChowAnyone want some more of Kelsey Chow?
This set is also from Variety’s 5th Annual Power Of Youth Event.
It seems like not very many Disney girls actually went this year…
… but I’m glad Kelsey did. We hardly ever get to see her.
Here’s a vid of her arrival on the red carpet. You can see a bit of Stefanie Scott in it as well.
As always, click any pic for the full set.
My Kelsey Chow Mini-Update
Posted on: Thursday, October 20th, 2011 in: Kelsey Chow, Twitter FunI haven’t talked about Kelsey Chow in a while… I really do like her even if I never talk about her. xD
I thought I’d start with a couple cute Twitter pics.
Including one where she’s not wearing pants. xD
Speaking of twitter, Kelsey just announced a new project titled “The Wine of Summer.”
Last but not least, here’s an amazing pic of Kelsey Chow at the 2011 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in LA.
Doesn’t she just look amazing? Wow. Click any pic for the fullsize, if applicable.
2011 D23 Expo Day Three
Posted on: Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 in: Bella Thorne, Caroline Sunshine, Kelsey Chow, Pair of Kings, Shake It Up!, Webmaster Greg, Zendaya ColemanSorry for the delay in getting this post up. I know I said Monday, but I’ve been having computer problems and couldn’t get anything new posted.
Sunday, the third and final day of the 2011 D23 Expo was just as amazing as the first two days. How many people can say they’ve seen Wilmer Valderrama hangin’ out with Handy Manny? LOL
After that photo op, we got in line for the Pair of Kings signing.
I was there to see Kelsey Chow again (obviously). I had gotten her autograph at the filming, but it’s faint ’cause her pin was dying. So when I saw her I was like “I hope your pen works this time” and she was like “Huh- OH! I remember you! =D” And then the Disney employee pushed me along for holding up the line. Of course, SHE was talking TO ME so how was that my fault? LOL
I was also quite shocked to see that Mitchel Musso himself showed up! He wasn’t scheduled to attend and I had never met him before.
And have a look at this guy with the “I <3 Kelsey Chow” shirt! Lucky bastard… why didn’t I think of that? LOL I actually ended up right next to him in the “Shake it Up” line. He’s a nice kid.
EDIT/NOTE: I’ve replaced the original picture below with his “professional” posed photo from the expo. If you want to see my original pic click here. There’s also a video. Again, why wasn’t I this smart? LOLz
Speaking of the Shake it Up line, what a mess. They didn’t know where to put everyone and it was a pretty big mess overall. The line was closed by 2pm… if not sooner.
Now as frequent readers will remember, I’ve met Bella and Zendaya before. It was Caroline Sunshine that I really wanted to meet.
And yeah, meet her I did.
I even had a few moments to tell her about my fansite and how excited I was to finally meet her.
I didn’t really have anything to say to Zendaya… but I did get a solo autograph of her. =]
As for Bella, I didn’t have anything rehearsed so I simply told her that I couldn’t even begin to tell her how amazing she is.
She was like “Aww, thank you sir” … as if I needed to be reminded how she’s WAY too young for me. LOL. Here’s the autograph.
But that’s not all. Once we finished with the cast we went down in front of the stage to take a few more pics. I got some great shots of Bella and Zendaya.
And by absolute sure luck, I ended up standing against the side of the stage when they finished the signing and the cast came to the front to sign a few more autographs for the crowd! Bella was right in front of me, look!
My friend Anika who was right next to me even got a pic with Zendaya!
I was hoping Caroline would come over to our side, but she didn’t make it beyond mid stage before the CMs escorted her off the stage.
She was the last to leave, but we still had one more surprise in store before we left. About 30 minutes after the event wrapped up, I spotted Roshan Fegan and Anika got a great picture with him too.
And that my friends, was the last day of the 2011 D23 expo. It was somethin’ else, I’ll tell you that. Hope to see you all there in 2013.
Disney’s Friends for Change Games
Posted on: Monday, May 16th, 2011 in: Allisyn Ashley Arm, Bella Thorne, Bridgit Mendler, China McClain, Debby Ryan, Kelsey Chow, Tiffany ThorntonThe DC Games are back… sort of.

Disney’s really pushing the environmental agenda and re-branding this year’s event as the Friends for Change Games with eco friendly game themes and what I’m sure will be a lot of the usual holier than thou preaching about saving water and the like. How many times do we need to be told to turn off the faucet while brushing our teeth anyway? This isn’t really about saving the planet, it’s about public relations, publicity, politics, and power.

But I digress. Go blue team!
WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
Over 30 Disney Channel and Disney XD stars from around the globe will compete in “Disney Friends for Change Games” to promote conservation and the power of coming together with friends and family to make a difference in one’s community and the world. Four teams of young stars will compete in a series of fun physical challenges to benefit specific charities and Friends for Change community projects on a global basis.
“Disney Friends for Change Games” teams will compete on behalf of Fauna and Flora International (Green Team), World Wildlife Fund (Red Team), Ocean Conservancy (Blue Team) and UNICEF (Yellow Team). Disney will make a donation of $125,000 to each charity, and the winning team’s charity will also receive an additional $100,000 donation from Disney.
Eighteen year-old Hollywood Records recording artist Bridgit Mendler (“Lemonade Mouth” and “Good Luck Charlie”) co-wrote and performed this year’s Disney Friends for Change anthem, “We Can Change The World,” a buoyant pop/rock song which will be released globally this summer. All of the proceeds from the song will go towards environmental charities through Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund.
Disney stars will invite kids and families worldwide to visit Disney.com/projectgreen, and Friends for Change international sites to pledge actions they will take in their own lives that will make a difference and help the planet. To date, over four million pledges have been made by kids worldwide. Additionally, young planet crusaders can play online versions of the games that took place during “Disney Friends for Change Games” and donate their earned points to their favorite teams. The team with the most points will be named the regional “Fan Favorite” team and awarded an additional $100,000 for their team’s charity. Through “Disney Friends for Change Games” and with the help of kids at home, Disney is donating almost one million dollars globally.
“Disney Friends for Change Games” are hosted by Tiffany Thornton (“So Random”) and Jason Earles (“Kickin’ It”). Maria Canals-Barrera (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) was on-hand to encourage and support the players as only a mom can do.
The teams are:
Blue Team
Captain: Debby Ryan (“Jessie”), Allisyn Ashley Arm (“So Random”), Olavo Cavalheiro (Disney Channel Brazil), Hutch Dano (“Zeke and Luther”), Roshon Fegan (“Shake It Up”), Doc Shaw (“Pair of Kings”), Stefanie Scott (“A.N.T. Farm”) and Jake Short (“A.N.T. Farm”).
Green Team
Captain: Brandon Mychal Smith (“So Random”), Valeria Baroni (Disney Channel Argentina), Paula Dalli (Disney Channel Spain), Adam Hicks (“Zeke and Luther”), David Henrie (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Sterling Knight (“So Random”), Ryan Ochoa (“Pair of Kings”), Eve Ottino (Disney Channel France) and Bella Thorne (“Shake It Up”).
Yellow Team
Captain: Bridgit Mendler (“Good Luck Charlie”), Jorge Blanco (Disney Channel Mexico), Valentina Colombo (Disney Channel Italy), Adam Irigoyen (“Shake It Up”), China Anne McClain (“A.N.T. Farm”), Sierra McCormick (“A.N.T. Farm”), Logan Miller (“I’m In The Band”) and Gregg Sulkin (“Wizards of Waverly Place” and Disney Channel UK).
Red Team
Captain: Mitchel Musso (“Pair of Kings”), Jake T. Austin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Doug Brochu (“So Random”), Kelsey Chow (“Pair of Kings”), Davis Cleveland (“Shake It Up”), Dean Delannoit (Disney Channel Holland and Belgium), Carlon Jeffrey (“A.N.T. Farm”), and Zendaya (“Shake It Up”).*Special guest Leo Howard (“Kickin’ It”) will also participate.
“Disney Friends for Change Games” challenges are comprised of the four areas of environmental conservation: saving water, preventing waste, saving energy and protecting our habitats. The games emphasize the power of coming together with your friends and family to make a difference in your community and your world.
The games are:
High Energy Dance Battle:
Teams perform a freestyle dance routine on an energy generating dance floor.
Wash Out:
Players will race against time in a multi-stage relay race, taking laundry to the extreme through a series of sorting, washing and hang drying. Some of the clothes in the giant laundry pile were recycled from Disney Channel and Disney XD series.
The Recycler:
Players on stationary bicycles power a high-speed conveyor belt loaded with recycled items.
The Ultimate Course for Change:
Players tackle a challenging multi-part course that incorporates all of the Friends for Change green themes.
“Disney Friends for Change Games” are executive produced by Art Spigel and Hayma ‘Screech’ Washington for Dario Productions. The production was eco-conscious to ensure best efforts were made to lighten impact on the environment.
Greg’s Awesome Autograph Wall
Posted on: Friday, May 13th, 2011 in: Alyson Michalka, Amanda Michalka, Ariana Grande, Ashley Leggat, Ashley Tisdale, Bella Thorne, Bridgit Mendler, Carly Schroeder, Chelsea Kane Staub, Christy Carlson Romano, Daniella Monet, Debby Ryan, Erin Sanders, Kelsey Chow, Kim Possible, Meaghan Martin, Nicole Anderson, Selena Gomez, Tiffany Thornton, Webmaster Greg, Zendaya ColemanSo in honor of her 18th birthday, I finally got around to framing my new Debby Ryan autograph. Pretty awesome right? I love that pic of her.
I ended up spending a couple hours rearranging and fixing up my autographs wall. So I thought I might as well show it off. These first few are unchanged…
There are a few new ones in this next batch including Erin sanders (Zoey 101, Big Time Rush), Carly Schroeder (Port Charles, Lizzie McGuire) and Daniella Monet (Victorious).
I did keep one I’m in the Band pic for myself. And despite Disney flat out refusing to give me one at the filming, (seriously, they treat everyone over 16 like crap) I did eventually manage to get my hands on a Sonny with a Chance poster.
I finally got around to framing my Ariana Grande autograph. It’s only been 7 months. LOL.
I got my Bella Thorne and Zendaya autographs on the far right of this next pic plus my Taylor Swift calenders (This year’s and last!)
Last but not least, one of the rarest pieces of KP memorabilia that I know to exist.
I hope you enjoyed looking half as much as I enjoyed showing off. And no, you can’t have anything, so don’t ask.
Den Brother Set Photos!
Posted on: Thursday, July 8th, 2010 in: Disney Channel News, Disney XD Shows, G. Hannelius, Kelsey ChowDen Brother is this year’s “mid-summer” DCOM and stars Hutch Dano (Zeke and Luther) and G. Hannelius (Sonny With A Chance).
But even more exciting, my good friend and SWAC forum moderator, Chelsea was invited to visit the set and took a few pictures she gave me permission to share with you all!
I thought the cast list was one of the more interesting shots, as I’m looking forward to seeing Kelsey Chow (Pair of Kings) again.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the backstage peak!
What follows is the official Disney Press release about this DCOM.
