I wrote to Aly’s fan mail in the summer of 2009 and recently, I got something back!

I really only wanted Aly’s autograph, but I guess it’s okay that AJ signed it too.

I hope they do a CD signing or something in LA when they eventually release their third album ’cause while this is pretty cool, I really must meet Aly at some point.

Hey Disney fans, I hope you all don’t mind my taking a moment to let you all know about the G2I Media Store.

It started as an outlet for rare and out of print disney CDs and DVDs like Aly and AJ’s first CD single for “Do You Believe in Magic”…

It occurs to me that I never wrote up a review of Easy A. I went to see if mostly for Aly, but Amanda Bynes was brilliant too. It actually struck me as the new Mean Girls. Aly showed some skin and uttered a few curses, but after Hellcats it seemed tamer than it would have a year ago. Although I didn’t love hearing her scream “Big Tits, Woo!” LOL

Sure the back’s revealing. And she still looks busty, but I dunno, I expected more.

When AJ looks better than her sister, you know somethings wrong. LOL

Ah Halloween… One of my favorite days of the year. I think Lindsay Lohan’s character in Mean Girls said it best:

“Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.”

Nicole Anderson seemed to go with a generic “I’m a really hot girl” type of costume. Not that I’m complaining

Her co-star Chelsea Staub looked stunning, even though she didn’t show much skin.

Debby Ryan looks great all Audrey Hepburn style.

Sonny with a Chance’s Allisyn Ashley Arm dressed up as Joan of Arc. LOL.

Bella Thorne (star of Shake it Up) dressed up as Rosetta the garden fairy for the Megamind premiere yesterday.

Disney XD’s Ryan Newman also went with a Disney themed costume, Princess Jasmine.

Aly and AJ keep slowly getting a little more sexy each year.

AJ’s got a really hot looking as a Black Widdow in that spiderweb dress and Aly actually went as a Vampire French Maid! Wow!

They’re actually scaring me a little bit! LOL

EDIT Number 2: It looks like Aly also hooked up with her Hellcats cast mates. I love Ashley Tisdale’s Wonder Woman costume…

That’s all for my Disney girls, but I’ve still got some other cool costumes to share. Like Victoria Justice, who spent all day in the recording studio.

Big Time Rush actress Erin Zariah also did the superhero thing with her Hit Girl costume.

22 year old Canadian singer Skye Sweetnam rocked a very nice Ariel Halloween costume.

I found these a while ago, but keep forgetting to post them!

Ashley Tisdale and Aly and AJ Michalka where spotted getting some ice cream in Malibu, CA back on Sunday April 25th 2010.

Aly and Ashley had just returned from filming the pilot episode of their new CW series, Hellcats.

AJ was apparently there because her and Aly are attached at the hip.

Speaking of AJ, I have a NEW fansite for Miss AJ Michalka at AJMichalka.com which replaces my old fansite at Amanda-Michalka.com.

Ashley’s still the cutest one, although I must admit that all three girls are quite lovely.

My favorite (former?) Disney sisters are lookin’ amazing on the the black (Black? why not blood red?) carpet at the Twilight Eclipse Premiere.

AJ cleans up really well.

And my girl Aly was totally rocking that little black dress.

I love it when they show some leg. Even in the Hellcats promos Aly still doesn’t show much leg.

Speaking of Hellcats, we’re only a few days out from the premiere of Aly’s new CW show!

What a wonderful summer it has been so far!

AJ recently tweeted this photo of herself posing with two very lucky dudes on the beach in LA.

It’s kinda low res, but it’s a much nicer look than the last time AJ tweeted a bikini pic.

Of course one bikini does not a summer make! It sure was nice of AJ to keep her shirt unbuttoned for the photo, if if she’s still not showing that much skin.

And forget that earlier comment about the two lucky dudes on the beach, this guy takes that prize!

This news broke last Friday, and just in case anyone hasn’t yet heard, it looks like Aly & AJ have broken their last official ties with Disney and have left Hollywood Records!

From the way they framed it their mass email message, it sounds like they’re happy to be out of that contract and free to pursue another record deal so they can have more creative control.

Sounds a lot like when Aly and her mom walked away from Phil of the Future for a new show with AJ that eventually never happened.

The Michalkas really really need to stop biting the hand that feeds them. Why not release the third album with Hollywood, make a good deal of money from it, and then shop for a new record deal while riding the wave of that album?

I obviously don’t know all the details, but something here just doesn’t add up.

Anyway, here’s the message from the girls, if you haven’t read it already:

Hey guys…so we know it’s been quiet in the 78violet camp but we want to first off thank you for sticking with us. We have some big news and wanted to make sure you hear it first.

Now that it’s official, we can tell you we’re no longer a part of Hollywood Records. What does that mean exactly??? Now we have the freedom to take 78violet in the direction we want. We’re writing and recording new music and are really excited on what’s next.

So…what is next? As for the album we recorded for Hollywood, honestly, we don’t foresee it ever being released. But…we are continuing to write and record new songs that we hope you’ll love as much as we do.

We’re going to be taking the Aly & AJ website down in the meantime which means the current message board will be removed and the accounts you created on the site will be put on hold. Yes…major bummer. But we’ll have a new message board and a new temporary site up in a few days that will serve as our main communication with you for the time being.

Aly and AJ need to make more public appearances so I don’t have to dig back to 2008 to find a new photoset.

That said, the Michalka sisters are really looking good here!

Aly’s sporting some serious cleavage in that dress of hers.

And AJ’s dress really accentuates her bust.

I know they had sexed it up a little for the Lovely Bones Premiere, but these are pretty amazing too!
