Disneymania 7 Promos

Posted on: Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 in: Alyson Stoner, Bridgit Mendler, Debby Ryan, Demi Lovato, Disney Channel News, Selena Gomez, Tiffany Thornton

Finally! It’s been three weeks since we saw the cover of the Disneymania 7 CD but now we finally have 30 second snippets and the full track listing!

And yes, I am more excited about this album than I am the StarStruck Soundtrack. What’s it to ya? :P

Disneymania 7 Track listing:
1. I Just Can’t Wait to Be King Allstar Weekend
2. Trust in Me Selena Gomez
3. Real Gone Honor Society
4. If I Never Knew You Tiffany Thornton
5. Stand Out Mitchel Musso
6. Good Enough KSM
7. Little Wonders Savannah
8. Under the Sea Booboo Stewart
9. When She Loved Me Bridgit Mendler
10. Her Voice Drew Seeley
11. Bella Notte Ruby Summer
12. Part of Your World Anna Maria Perez de Taglé
13. What I’ve Been Looking For Alyson Stoner
14. The Gift of a Friend Demi Lovato
15. Hakuna Matata Debby Ryan

Selena Gomez is always amazing, and she certainly has an interesting song. I’m not quite sure she pulled it off, but I’m anxious to hear the whole track!

I refuse to like Honor Society on principle, but they did a pretty good job on Real Gone. I won’t deny that.

Another strong showing from Tiffany Thornton. We already knew she could sing, but she continues to impress. Any chance of a album? If Demi can cut one while filming and touring, Tiff can too. :)

Wow. I guess Bridgit Mendler can sing. I don’t know why I’m so surprised, but I was very impressed.

Ruby Summer gets a mention because she picked one of my all time favorite Disney songs, from one of my least favorite disney movies. LOL

Alyson Stoner did a nice job on What I’ve Been Looking For, although I don’t know why she did something so contemporary.

Could Demi Lovato not make time to record one new song? The Gift of a Friend does not belong on this album.

Last but not least, they finally got Debby Ryan to sing a real song! Based on that 30 seconds, I wanna say good – not great. Of course, I reserve the right to change my opinion once I hear the whole song.

I don’t know how Tommy2.net does it, but here’s the cover of the new Disneymania 7 CD

Looks like they finally got Debby to sing a song! :)

I think Tiffany’s song will be her version of “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White.

Who knows what Selena and Demi’s songs will be, but I’m looking forward to those too.

Before I say anything else, I want to say that I can not vouch for the authenticity of this photo.

This self-pic of Alyson Stoner in a bikini was brought to my attention by Chris.

I don’t know anything else about this pic, but judging from her phone, I’m gonna guess it’s at least a couple years old.

More Camp Rock 2 News

Posted on: Saturday, November 21st, 2009 in: Alyson Stoner, Demi Lovato, Meaghan Martin

Tiger Beat recently published some news about Camp Rock 2. I’m excited to see Demi sing again, and of course I’m excited to see Meaghan Martin and Alyson Stoner. :)

Camp Rock 2 Tiger Beat

As we knew before, there’s a new music camp, Camp star, and the rivalry between teams becomes more of a rivalry between camps. Meaghan’s character Tess, naturally, abandons Camp Rock and goes to Camp Star. So it’s basically up to Mitchie to save Camp Rock.

Mitchie and Shane actually kiss in the sequel. The age diffidence in the first film made a kiss a little awkward IMO, but I’d say it’s okay now.

And Nick’s character has a love interest. Which makes it sound like he’s actually gonna be in the movie for more than five minutes. Too bad.

Disney Channel’s “Night of Premieres” is Back!

Posted on: Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 in: Alyson Stoner, Ashley Tisdale, Debby Ryan, Phineas and Ferb, The Suite Life

Disney Press Release.

The two part Phineas and Ferb sounds cool but paring it with a new Suite Life on Deck is hardly event worthy. Anyway, catch it September 25th,

Disney Channel’s “Night of Premieres” is back and this time it features a two part Phineas and Ferb, The Suite Life on Deck and the movie Meet the Robinsons.

A new, two-part time travel back-to-the-future episode of the hit animated series “Phineas and Ferb,” guest starring Jennifer Stone (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Moises Arias (“Hannah Montana”) and Jennifer Grey (“Dirty Dancing”), kicks off Disney Channel’s Night of Premieres on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 (8:00–11:00 p.m., ET/PT). The lineup includes a new episode of “The Suite Life on Deck,” a sneak peek clip from an upcoming “The Suite Life on Deck” one-hour special entitled “Lost at Sea,” and the network premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature film, “Meet the Robinsons.”

In “Phineas and Ferb’s Quantum Boogaloo” (8:00–8:30 p.m., ET/PT), Phineas and Ferb travel to the future to find a tool that hasn’t been invented yet. There they encounter future Candace, who follows them back through time and finally busts her brothers as they’re building their rollercoaster. She also accidentally foils Agent P’s defeat of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, setting off a chain reaction that turns the future into a dystopian society. The episode guest stars Jennifer Stone as future Candace’s daughter, Amanda, Moises Arias as future Candace’s son, Fred, and Jennifer Grey as the Librarian, and features a musical solo by Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

At 8:30 p.m., ET/PT, viewers will be treated to a sneak peek clip from an upcoming “The Suite Life on Deck” one-hour special entitled “Lost at Sea,” which will premiere October 2 on Disney Channel.

A new episode of “The Suite Life on Deck” (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT), entitled “Goin’ Bananas,” finds Zack submitting one of Cody’s old term papers as his own without realizing it contains a bizarre passage about a banana phobia. Before long, Ms. Tuttweiler sends him to see a counselor, as London goes through withdrawal when her cell phone is taken away after she’s caught texting during class.

The network premiere of “Meet the Robinsons” (9:00-10:30 p.m., ET/PT), starring Nicole Sullivan (“The Penguins of Madagascar”), Laurie Metcalf (“Desperate Housewives”), Daniel Hansen (“Roswell”) and Jordan Fry (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”), follows a brilliant young inventor named Lewis as he sets off on a time-traveling journey to find the family he never knew.

There’s been speculation about Camp Rock 2 for months, but now Disney has made an official press release.

And Mitchie sure looks excited! :)

Camp Rock 2

Joining the cast are Matthew “Mdot” Finley and Chloe Bridges. Also returning to the sequel’s cast are Meaghan Martin, Alyson Stoner, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Roshon Fegan, Daniel Fathers and Maria Canals-Barrera. “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” is scheduled to premiere in 2010 on Disney Channel.

However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers — putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy.
And when Camp Star’s hotshot performer, Luke Williams, challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. Meanwhile, in a classic “Romeo and Juliet” twist, Nate falls for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp.

Returning are Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres; Joe Jonas as Shane Gray; Kevin Jonas as Jason; Nick Jonas as Nate; Meaghan Martin as Tess Tyler; Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Geller; Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Ella; Roshon Fegan as Sander; Daniel Fathers as Brown; and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie Torres.

The movie’s soundtrack will feature a mix of pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop songs written by songwriters Mitch Allan, Adam Anders, Lyrica Anderson, Antonina Armato, Aris Aronchitis, Peer Astrom, Kara DioGuardi, Andy Dodd, Toby Gad, Nikki Hassman, Jamie Houston, Tim James, Jeannie Lurie, Chen Neeman, Kovasciar Nyvette, Steve Rushton, Dapo Torimiro and Adam Watts.

Joining the cast are Matthew “Mdot” Finley as Luke Williams. Mdot is an accomplished R&B musician who has performed as the opening act for Ciara, Yung Joe, Dem Franchise Boyz, Lil’ Romeo and Mos Def, and was named Best R&B Male at the Urban Threshold Music Awards in 2006.

Chloe Bridges joins in the role of Dana Turner, daughter of the rival camp owner. Bridges is a noted classical pianist whose film and television credits include “Forget Me Not,” “The Longshots” and “The Comeback.”

The executive producer is Alan Sacks (“Welcome Back, Kotter,” “The Color of Friendship”). The producer is Kevin Lafferty (“Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie,” “Jump In!”).

It looks like the Disney Cruise Line has decided to leverage the popularity of The Suite Life on Deck and the Disney channel in general to drum up some extra business this summer.

Debby Ryan - Disney Cruise Line

Press release from Disney Cruise Line:

In a Disney exclusive, numerous Disney Channel stars will set sail this summer, joining thousands of Disney Cruise Line guests aboard the Disney Wonder for eight special sailings during the first-ever “Disney Channel Summer at Sea,” presented by Kodak.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Disney Channel and offer guests on our ship a unique opportunity to sail with Disney Channel stars,” said Disney Cruise Line President Karl Holz. “A cruise vacation with Disney Cruise Line is always a family-favorite and ‘Disney Channel Summer at Sea’ provides families another reason to set sail and experience the Disney difference.”

Popular stars from Disney Channel shows like “Hannah Montana,” “Sonny With A Chance,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” “JONAS,” “Camp Rock,” “High School Musical” and “Hatching Pete” will sail with guests on three- and four-night Bahamian cruises taking place July 9 through August 2. During these themed sailings, Disney Channel stars will help pump up the volume during onboard deck parties and will join guests for Q & A and autograph sessions along with preview screenings of Disney Channel programming. The onboard fun culminates with a “Party with the Stars” event, an evening where guests can join the stars for a special live musical performance. As an added treat, Radio Disney will broadcast live from the ship during two of the cruises.

Aligning with Kodak’s “It’s Time to Smile” campaign, all Disney fans will be able to share in the ship-to-shore fun online. Select video-blog reporters onboard the ship will capture their magical vacation memories on a ‘KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera’ and post video from their voyages at www.disneycruise.com/summeratsea.

“At Kodak, we’re all about relationships. We bring people together through images and are thrilled to work with the Disney Channel to help Disney fans share their magical vacation memories,” said Kodak Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President Jeffrey Hayzlett.

“Disney Channel Summer at Sea” adds to the family-friendly fun found onboard a Disney ship. Disney Cruise Line provides a vacation experience that every member of the family feels was created just for them. Families enjoy award-winning Broadway-style entertainment at the Walt Disney Theatre, play together at high-energy deck parties featuring the only fireworks display at sea and dine in three uniquely themed restaurants. Kids delight in their own dedicated spaces and become immersed in Disney stories with their favorite characters and hosted by specially trained youth counselors. While the kids are at play, parents can slip away and relax at the spa, soak up rays at the adult-only pool, dance the night away in the clubs, or enjoy an exquisite Northern Italian meal at Palo.
