I honestly have no idea what they were doing. xD

But it is nice that the whole family came out. (Minus Kaili Thorne I guess… She must have been busy)

Disney Channel April Highlights

This looks like a two of everything kind of month with A.N.T. Farm, Austin & Ally, Fish Hooks, Jessie, Phineas and Ferb, Shake It Up!, and even a special episode of Lab Rats.

2012 Upcoming Disney Channel Projects

There are some very interesting new DC projects in two works. Some of which we’ve discussed before, and others that are being announced for the first time this past month at Disney’s annual upfront presentation to potential advertisers in NYC.

The new projects for Disney Channel include:

Wander Over Yonder an animated comedy series about best friends and epic enemies.
Teen Beach Musical a new summer themed musical DCOM.
Girl vs. Monster a Halloween DCOM staring Olivia Holt.
Code 9 an “unscripted” practical joke show.
Let It Shine a music-filled DCOM inspired by Cyrano de Bergerac.
Gravity Falls a new animated series from the FishHooks crew.

Plus other new projects for Disney XD and numerous returning projects including Good Luck Charlie.

Jessie Renewed for a Second Season!

Good news for Debby Ryan fans! Disney has renewed Jessie for a second season and ordered a DCOM as well!

Disney Channel has ordered a second season of its hit series “Jessie” and has also ordered a movie script based on it for its Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, it was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide.

Ashley Tisdale To Star In CBS Comedy Pilot

Well, this is an interesting bit of news regarding the lovely Miss Ashley Tisdale that I thought might be of interest to many of you.

High School Musical alumna Ashley Tisdale has been cast as a lead in CBS’ untitled Louis CK/Spike Feresten multicamera comedy pilot, an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times. Tisdale will play Petra, the beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to carve out her niche in New York.
