Open Casting Call in Austin, Texas, June 4, 2011Casting Directors Searching for Talented, Young Actors, Actresses, Singers and Dancers Ages 10-18 for Upcoming Series and Movies
Disney Channel and Disney XD today announced an open casting call in Austin, Texas, to give promising, new actors and actresses an opportunity of a lifetime to audition for casting representatives.
“We are pleased to play a part in cultivating young talent and helping them achieve their dreams,” said Judy Taylor, Senior Vice President, Casting and Talent Relations. “With this official open casting call, our representatives are searching for a range of youthful talent with comedic acting ability and/or singing and dancing experience to showcase their skills for consideration in our upcoming series and movies.”
The open casting call registration and auditions will be held on June 4, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, 700 San Jacinto at 8th Street in downtown Austin, Texas. An application and a monologue will be provided upon arrival. The Omni Hotel offers self parking for $10.00 plus tax.
Talented kids who can play characters between the ages of 10-18 and who can act, dance or sing are invited to the open call. There is no fee to audition and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This official open call is among Disney Channel’s and Disney XD’s few annual casting searches in the United States. There are no guarantees of employment.

Disney Exec (thinking to himself): Let’s see this girl is 14 years old and has potential to become a bombshell, she is a cute kid and will develop nicely
Disney Exec: So can you read this script for us
*girl reads script*
Disney Exec (in head): That was okay, not good
Disney Exec: That was great, can you sing for us
Girl: Not really
Disney Exec: Just do your best
*girl sings not very well*
Disney Exec (in head): We can work with that
Disney Exec: You are the perfect package, we would love to hire you.

There was a radio station and it said to call a number and i called it and i won.. and a person talked to my mom and gave her information and said to meet us in the city at a hotel. it said that i could have the possibility to be on a t.v show, maybe zeke and luther, or that they would be there. im not sure if i should believe this because disney channel said there next audtion will be in 2012. what do i do?

I know its a strong words but i think and i know that i’m born to be somebody. Acting and singing way. I love those both things and i can do them ! I’m turning to 13 this February. Thank you for your time

Hi I’m just wondering wether or not this website is real. And even if not do you have recommendations to websites, of agency’s that are recommended for teens. I live in California and I want to be an actress, I have already started preparing, taking classes for acting, dance, and other things. I just want to go to the next step and start looking into being in films or t.v. Thank you for reading this and I would really appreciate if you could reply.

hi i am a girl of 13 years called maria, I come from Denmark, and yet I will do everything to get to the casting. I have however appeared in anything, but it was not crazy big, it was a very small role, or on part as you may call it.
I want to hear whether it is possible for you to come to Denmark, so I can get to the casting, it would really make me happy.
I am a girl who goes to the gym, and have done so for 9 years now.
