Hellcats Cancelled!
Damn it! The CW cancelled Hellcats.
I’m really surprised how this well written series, featuring TWO of my favorite girls Ashley and Aly [in cheer outfits no less], didn’t do better in the ratings.
Now, there’s still a chance we can change their minds, but it’s gonna be an uphill battle. Let’s start by trending #SaveHellcats on twitter! My buddy Matthias of SDS Germany is organizing a movement to save the show.

The CW has renewed One Tree Hill and Nikita and pulled the plug on Hellcats.
Long-running CW soap One Tree Hill had been expected to come back for a ninth season already, so the news comes as no huge surprise. Most of the cast, including original series actresses Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galeotti, had signed on for another season in recent weeks. Only cast member James Lafferty, has yet to renew his contract and plans to return part-time next year, according to TVLine.

One Tree Hill pulled in 1.3 million viewers for its most recent new episode last week.
Freshman action-drama Nikita has also gotten the green light for another season. Starring Maggie Q, the update of the La Femme Nikita story drew 1.94 million for its season finale Thursday.

The CW’s other first-year scripted series, Hellcats, has been canceled. The cheerleading drama had been struggling on Tuesdays, bringing in 1.18 million viewers for its last new episode. Star Ashley Tisdale weighed in on the series’ ominous future on Saturday. “I feel with anything else in life if it’s meant to happen, [it will],” she told TVGuide.com. “If not there’s something else and I think it was such a learning experience.”

i also want to say that i hate how all season finales are cliffhangers now. i mean, how is that the end of the story when it ends like THAT? D=

I’m glad it’s gone – it was getting ridiculous. As much as I love Aly (and AJ), I just couldn’t get into it anymore – it was hard keeping up with everything and most of the time, I just didn’t care about the characters – wish they would’ve kept it about cheerleading instead of turning it into just another teen soap. It was great at first, lots of good writing, but it slowly devolved into sludge.
Let’s see if Aly & AJ will go back into writing music full time (instead of just making empty promises about a long-delayed CD).

THIS IS A DIRECT RESULT OF ASHLEY POSING NUDE IN ALLURE. Just kidding!
Seriously, I know it had nothing to do with that. I think it had to do with when the show airs and the fact that there are probably too many teen soaps on right now, especially on The CW network.
For me personally, I’m a 90210 fan and I also watch reality shows like American Idol and Deadliest Catch. I’m a big DC fan but you knew already that since I’m posting this on the DC fans site.
I tried getting into Gossip Girl because I think Leighton Meester is a total hottie but there just wasn’t room in my personal schedule for it and that was the same with Hellcats even though I’m a fan of both Aly and Ashley. It’s unfortunate but Hellcats premiered into a schedule that was just too busy for it.
I’m sure both Aly and Ashley will both be fine. They both have their music careers to fall back on. Oh, and Ashley if you read this I’m hoping your next musical effort will be more like your first album than your second.

I WANT HELLCATS SEASON 2 , ITS SO DAAMN NICE , I WAS LIKE WTF WHEN THEY CANCELED IT ;(( pls give us season two , even last episode is made right to think there will be season two.. i will survive with no ordinary family but no HELLCATS

so they chose a bad time slot. Note that it interfered with a lot of basketball games.
Everyone, calm yourselves. The show was really good, and I think it got better after a while, and I loved the drama.
The problem was the time slot they chose. From the beginning, I believe the CW wasn’t as into this show as some of there others
My g-pa usually watches teen soaps with me and was not able to for this one due to the time. I think something should be done about the time slot instead of pulling the plug and leaving a sad line of not so good shows.
I’m positive ABC Family would gladly buy the show to run during the summer.

Hellcats was/is the best show ever.
It wasn’t getting silly, it was so refreshing and dramatic and I ALWAYS found myself counting down the days till the next episode was one, WITHOUT FAIL.
I love this show, and refuse to accept its cancellation.
It must come back.

WHATTT!!!!!!!! this can be happening its such a great show u can cancel a show when there’s a cliffhanger i mean come on its a CLIFFHANGER thats what make u what to watch it more and its stupid to cancel a show that is unfinished there’s a lot unsaid and unseen i would be sooooooo mad if its just going to hang there its going to kill me with curiosity ahhhhhh dont cancel the show

They can’t cancel hellcats! I loved how once an episode was over you want the next one to hurry and air! Cw can’t get rid of the show. Get rid of Nikita or One Tree Hill.

Having seasons end on cliffhangers means that if they want to bring it back or not, they can. If they don’t bring a program back, then it’s like how a movie ends, tempting you to crave more, however, if they do bring a program back, then they have something to pull it back to, so that it doesn’t seem completely random.

Why would they cancle Hellcats! It was an amazing show. Thats so sad, I dont see why they cancle shows that people love. It just leaves them wanting more and depressed because they will never know what happens. I think it is BS! They should bring it back!

Why oh why are they cancelling Hellcats?? I think it is a terrific show: I love the dance sequences although I am not normally a cheerleader fan. I think the storylines and characterisations are good. Above all, Hellcats has ENERGY! Sincerely hope that the decision to cancel Hellcats is reversed. In the meantime I am trying out if a DVD of Hellcats will be on sale soon as this super show is close to my heart.

BRING BACK HELLCATS!!!!!!! Just started watching it on saturday and finished all 23 episodes by tuesday! If thats not the sign of a good show then I dont know what is!!!

I still can’t believe it’s cancelled!
It is/was one of the best shows. They left it too open, u end a season like that, but not a series. Wishful thinking, I know… But maybe they’ll bring it back some day? I hope so. So SAVE HELLCATS and bring it back NOW!!!

WTF! no im not excited! hellcats was a good show. the hell with the rating. people who rate shows and movies have absolutely no idea what a good show is. OMG if they dont bring hellcats back….. you cant end a show like that… the show must go on. otherwise i dont know what ill do!!!!!!!!!!!!
