Disney Channel Fans

Well, dang it all. For whatever reason Disney XD has decided to cancel production on a third season of the original series I’m in the Band staring Logan Miller, Steve Valentine, Greg Baker, Stephen Full, and my girl Caitlyn Taylor Love.

At this point, details are still sketchy. All we know is that the series was not picked up for another season. We don’t know why, although it’s possible Disney found the ratings to be less than stellar. It seems unlikely a scheduling conflict or money issues like what happened with Phil of the Future would be the cause although it is too soon to say with certainty.

So now I guess it’s up to the fans. Are there enough fans to push for another season? We’ve organized a “Save Iron Weasel” movement over at Save Disney Shows complete with Disney mailing addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers and everything else fans will need to protest this unwarranted cancellation.

Our first Save I’m in the Band Day is Monday April 4th 2011. The Disney executives Carolina Lightcap, David Levine, and Adam Bonnett are probably the most important to write to. You can find their contact info and more on our website in the Get Involved Section.

Even if you’re not a fan yourself, please forward this information to anyone you know that enjoys the show. It’s critically important that we get the word out as quickly as possible!

Some interesting management changes at Disney XD. I remember writing to Mr. Levine back during the original Save KP campaign when he worked for Disney Channel.

David Levine has been promoted to Vice President, Programming and General Manager of Disney XD Worldwide.

Levine, who had previously served as Vice President, Worldwide Programming Strategy, Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Disney Channels Worldwide, has been with the company since 2004. In that post, Levine led the task force to launch Disney XD channel in the U.S. and guided its worldwide roll-out.

In his new position, Levine will oversee program planning and scheduling for the two-year-old, multi-platform Disney XD. He will also work with Disney XD’s programming team to find acquisition and co-production opportunities.

Prior to joining Disney, Levine worked at Ragdoll USA, where he served as Vice President of Business Affairs and Development.

Big news Debby Ryan fans!  It has just been announced that Debby will be staring in a new Disney Channel series.

I for one definitely did not see this coming. Disney has almost always cut it’s stars loose one they turned 18 which is where Debby will be in just under two months. I’m somewhat skeptical as to how exactly they’ll manage to pull off a traditional DC series with her. I mean, there’s no hiding her bust as it is…

I’m starting to think that they’re finally opening up to trying things that are different to keep their talent. But, as with many tings, only time will tell.

‘Suite Life’s’ Debby Ryan Gets Her Own Disney Channel Series

The actress, who will play an au pair in Jessie, follows in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in getting her own show on the channel.

Like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato before her, Debby Ryan has the star machine of Disney behind her.

The actress, who plays country girl Bailey Pickett on the Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Deck, has been tapped to star in a new Disney series called Jessie. She’ll play a teen from rural Texas who moves to New York and becomes an au pair to a wealthy family with four children. The series will be previewed at Disney’s upfront presentation Wednesday in New York, where Ryan will be in attendance.

The series, which premieres in the fall, will once again team Ryan with Suite Life producer Pam Eels (Suite Life on Deck, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Family Matters). Disney will position the show, from It’s a Laugh Prods., as a companion to the already popular Good Luck Charlie.

Meantime, the network will continue to pump the Ryan brand through the Suite Life on Deck movie, which will premiere on the channel March 25.

Ryan, who previously appeared in the Disney Channel’s 16 Wishes movie, is repped by Innovative Artists and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment.

I really hate whomever decided to censor these before leaking them. I mean… it’s not like we haven’t already seen her nips.

Although I must say, she is very pink inside. We haven’t seen that before.

It also looks like she’s enjoys kissing girls. Cool.

The other girl is purported to be Alexa Nikolas from Zoey 101. I was wondering what she was up to…

I hate censored leaked pics, SO much. LOL

Anyway, Baby V has one movie out with another coming out soon. So go watch them if you want to see her wear more clothes than you can see her in for free.

She’s also gonna be on the cover of the April 2011 issue of Shape.

She has a wrap over her bikini? Seriously? Don’t tell me she’s modest!

So I take it that everyone has already seen Selena’s awesometastic music video for her new single “Who Says” right? If not, here it is. If so… well it’s worth watching again!

I obviously loved this song ever since I saw her preform this song last week at the So Random live taping. And of course, I had also posted some sexy stills from the video last month (including my personal favorite below).

So I guess what I’m trying to say is, i have been all over this song. Which is why I wanted to make sure to share a few more pics from the filming.

Now, as you can obviously tell, these are from the beach scene at the end.

She’s clearly wearing more than she needs to be for the beach, but my girl still looks breath taking.

And of course, I’m loving the short shorts (plus there’s bare feet for those of you into that).

It must have been amazing to be there that day. Sadly, I can’t be everywhere. I wonder where I’ll see her in person for the 8th time…

Demi Lovato seems to be doing all she can to stay out of the spotlight as she hides behind her massive shades at LAX.

Of course, she’s still pretty recognizable. I mean, there’s no mistaking her smile.

I have to say she’s looking very happy and healthy so maybe this staying out of the spotlight thing is a good idea.

Still, I miss her and am glad the paparazzis stalked her through the airport. LOL
