Selena Gomez on Lopez Tonight
On Tuesday November 16th 2010, I made a special trip to the Warner Brother’s Studios in Burbank CA to be in the audience for George Lopez’s TBS talk show Lopez Tonight.
But this was no ordinary episode as none other than my dream girl, Selena Gomez, was his first guest!
And look at this, I even (indirectly) got another picture with her!
It was very interesting to see the interview in person. I had never noticed how much Selena touches her face/hair before. The edits in the final program hid most of them, but I did find this one cap.
And my goodness, how adorable was she? It was almost painful! Especially with how leggy that outfit was…
Interesting story, she was absolutely cracking up when they cut to the clip from the last time she was on the show.
I also found it very interesting that she talked about her dad Ricardo Gomez. I’ve heard her talk about her step dad Brian Teefy numerous times, but she hardly ever talks about her dad. But I’m glad they’re still close. 
Then after a break that was waaay too long Selena came back in a sexy silver dress to sing a Year Without Rain (the Multilingual version?)
She was literally like 20 feet away from me. A little further in this particular shot, but still really close.
And I swear to God, she looked right at me, twice! The first time I looked away so as not to stare (I know, I’m an idiot) so when she looked the second time I didn’t look away. I’m sure she only held the gaze for a fraction of a second but it felt like eons…

They’re both Hispanic and Italian.
I’ve heard “White Pride” groups claim NEITHER of those groups are white.
Hell, “Hispanics” are (mostly) a mix of some white spanish, Native Americans and Africans as well.
The odds are good that some of both Selena and Demi’s ancestors were blacker than Bill Cosby.

Selena and Demi look white to me. Which is good cause I think Selena is the perfect woman.

Neither one of them look white.
They’re both pretty obviously Latina (especially Selena.)
But seriously “looks white” is all it takes?
So you’d date a person who was genetically part black (or technically IS black if you still believe in the ‘one drop rule’) if they “looked white”?

@Greg – i have been watching your site for some time. I didn’t like you to begin with but something intrigued me and i kept coming back. I often find myself disgusted by some of the things you say in your posts (calling the girl you “love” a tease? c’mon man…), so i would like to commend you on actually keeping the inappropriate comments too a minimum in this post. Especially since i’m sure you found more cannon fodder than you actually used…
I adored watching this interview and the performance was top notch! she sounds better in Spanish than in English! I love Selena, it’s hard not too

Richard, I know I screwed up. Do you have any idea how hard I was kicking myself? I’m just so thankful she looked again.
Silentwaiting, when did I call Selena a tease? I don’t deny that I might have said something to that effect, but I’m sure there was some context to it. And of course I don’t really “love” her, it’s just a crush. And yes, I could have written a much raunchier post, but I do try to keep my discussions of Selena at least reasonably tasteful.

Hahaha… Don’t mind Silentwaiting Greg, as a writer I know, when you write an article don’t expect it to please everyone. There’s always someone who’s going to complain. Bottom line is, this is your site, so you can write what ever you want.
Back to topic. Yes this is, I dare say, Selena’s best live performance. Loved how she mixed the English with the Spanish. Would’ve preferred an even mix (Cause clearly this was more English ), but its okay.

really if you’re gonna claim to actually like someone and care about them, treat them with some respect. If you don’t like someone, talk bad about them all you want, that makes sense. But it just seems very paradoxical and two-faced that you would express your admiration in the same breath that you take a shot at her integrity.
Don’t let me stand in your way, just my opinion. I just feel that Selena deserves a little more respect.

I don’t believe Selena has it in her to tease… not intentionally anyway… You may have taken it that way, but I have strong doubts that Selena would ever be an that mind set. That would never even occur to her… whether it’s that she’s just far too young at heart or that she’s too classy to even contemplate it. I just can’t even fathom it having crossed her mind.

She’s 18. She knows she’s sexy and she knows how to use it to advance her career. Have you seen her recent talk show outfits? Her Lopez outfit could not have been any smaller and still legal.
