Happy Birthday Demi!

Posted on: Friday, August 20th, 2010 in: Demi Lovato

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Happy birthday Demi!

I hope I wasn’t the only one that stayed up ’til midnight to ring in Demi Lovato’s 18th birthday!

Happy Birthday Demi!

I even put together this special happy birthday graphic for the event featuring some previously un-posted pics of Demi on her vacation in Cabo. :)

Also, here’s a video of Demi’s sister Maddie, Meaghan Martin, and Chloe Bridges presenting her with an early birthday cake durring the Jonas Brothers / Demi Lovato / Camp Rock 2 World Tour in Holmdel, NJ on August 17, 2010.

Bridgit Mendler Beach Bikini!

Posted on: Thursday, August 19th, 2010 in: Bikinis (or Less!), Bridgit Mendler, Twitter Fun

Unfortunately, I don’t know the story behind this photo. My good friend dcfan found it and sent it to me so I could share it with all of you.

Bridgit Mendler Beach Bikini

It clearly shows Bridgit on the beach in a pretty skimpy bikini. She doesn’t look too happy that someone was taking pictures though. I think she was having a bad hair day. The rest of her is pretty damn hot though! :)

This wasn’t the first time we’ve seen her in a bikini though. Some of you may remember this photo from her twitter.

Bridgit Mendler Bikini Buddies

Okay, you can’t see much, but she’s still only wearing a bikini top there with her friends.

Hannah’s Military Special

Posted on: Monday, August 16th, 2010 in: Disney Channel News, Emily Osment, Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus

I like how they’re brought Jesse back after discarding Jake last episode. At least they had a plan.

Hannah Montana Forever Logo

Here’s a sneak peak if you missed the premiere of official music video for Hannah’s new song “I’m Still Good last Sunday.

And what follows is the official Disney press release:

DISNEY CHANNEL’S “HANNAH MONTANA” HONORS MILITARY FAMILIES
WITH NEW EPISODE AND PROGRAMMING EVENT, SUNDAY, AUGUST 22

Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” honors military families with a touching episode that includes cameo appearances by real families of the armed services and two new Hannah Montana songs, the heartfelt ballad “Been Here All Along” and the upbeat “I’m Still Good,” a performance interspersed with greetings from military families to their deployed loved ones. The “Hannah Montana Forever Family Salute” premieres SUNDAY, AUGUST 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT). Forty special messages from military families will air throughout the evening (8:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) and will be available with the episode at DisneyChannel.com/Salute.

The USO consulted on the storyline for the episode, “Been Here All Along,” in which Miley cancels a special father/daughter afternoon so she can go on a first date with Jesse instead. While out with Miley, Jesse takes a phone call from his deployed father and their heartfelt conversation leads Miley to realize just how fortunate she is to have her dad close to home whenever she needs him. So she sets out to make amends with Robby Ray, and to do something special for military families.

Starring are Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, Emily Osment as Lilly Truscott, Jason Earles as Jackson Stewart, Billy Ray Cyrus as Robby Stewart and Moises Arias as Rico.

The series was created by Michael Poryes and Rich Correll & Barry O’Brien. The executive producers are Steven Peterman and Michael Poryes. “Hannah Montana” is a production of It’s a Laugh Productions, Inc.

Selena Gomez Concert Videos

Selena Gomez Concert videos from Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA on August 14th 2010. (So yes, she’s 18 here ;) )

Selena Gomez Concert Videos

Her new song A Year Without Rain in HD…

… and “A Year Without Rain” from another angle:

Selena covered Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me”…

… and she also covered “Love is a Battlefield” (unfortunately, the video cuts off)

Here’s a full version of “Falling Down” in which she looks particularly good.

And I’m surprised she’s still singing “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” :)

She likes to jump a lot on stage. I like that. ;)

(Boo. Looks like I can’t embed these half videos anymore. Sorry.)

New Hellcats Interview

Posted on: Sunday, August 15th, 2010 in: Ashley Tisdale, Hellcats

Hellcats cast members Ashley Tisdale & Matt Barr discuss the show at CBS, CW and Showtime summer press tour.

New Hellcats Interview

My favorite part…
Interviewer: Did you suffer through the cheer scenes?
Matt: Have you seen these girls and what they’re doing? I wouldn’t call it suffering.

LOL.

Ashley also described her character Savannah as a team player, which makes me think that her and Marti become BFFs after the first episode. Maybe not right away, but I think that’s where they’re obviously taking the characters.

Ariana Grande Twitter Pics

Posted on: Saturday, August 14th, 2010 in: Ariana Grande, Nickelodeon News

Ariana Grande plays Cat the Nickelodeon show, Victorious, created by Dan Schneider.

Ariana Grande Twitter Pictures

She’s not a Disney girl, but in my humble opinion this 17 year old hottie is the best Nick has to offer (with Victoria Justice and Jennette McCurdy not too far behind) so I hope no one minds if I talk about her here.

Ariana Grande Twitter Pictures

Especially with the pics she’s teases us with on her Twitter profile! I mean, she’s on her hands and knees on the beach and even gave us an almost bikini top picture!

Ariana Grande Twitter Pictures

Her Victorious character, Cat Valentine, has been described as an overly sensitive drama queen. She is seen as eccentric and naive but also sweet, outgoing and, of course, cute. Cat’s eccentricities, frequent exclamations of “What’s that’s supposed to mean?”, and mentions of her strange brother are common running gags.

Ariana Grande Twitter Pictures

In the series, Cat dyes her hair red because it is the color of her favorite food, red-velvet cupcakes. In reality, Dan made Cat a redhead so that he wouldn’t have all brunettes for his show’s four female leads.

Prior to Ariana’s role in Victorious, she played the character of Charlotte in the musical 13 on Broadway.

First look at Selena’s new Album

Posted on: Saturday, August 14th, 2010 in: Selena Gomez

They changed the font for “Selena Gomez and the Scene.” Weird.

First look at Selena Gomez's new Album

First thought: Yay, can’t wait for the album.
Second thought: OMG, just look at her boobs in that pic!
Third thought: It’s about time she used her sex appeal to sell more CDs. ;)

Rumor has it that the new album will only be ten songs, with a deluxe version that has an extra two remixes. Given that her first CD was 12 new songs and a remix, I’m a little disappointed that this new one will be shorter. But I still don’t know how she found the time to record one song, let alone ten, so I guess I’ll take what I can get and be happy. :)
