It’s been about a month since I announced our latest host change, and it’s been a lot of work reprogramming and dividing the site into two separate websites (One for the blog and forum, one for the image gallery).
And now I can finally begin adding new screencaps to the site.
And it seems appropriate that we christen the new gallery with HD caps from Disney’s newest show Good Luck Charlie.
The first GLC Episode “Study Date” scored an amazing ratings victory with 4.7 Million viewers! This first episode basically sets up the rest of series, with the mom returning returning to work and introducing us to the whole family, their friends, neighbors, and crushes.
And of course, our title character, Charlie.
Random fact: Gabe’s birthday is November 23rd. The same as Miley Cyrus. Coincidence? I think not!
Teddy’s not shy about getting what she wants. She should make a strong lead character.
Ah, the “biology joke” that was analyzed in that article from December.
PJ’s in a band. Sounds like a great excuse to Teddy to sing in a future episode.
And Emmitt has a crush on Teddy. That’s almost to be expected. LOL
The baby toss scene was quite intense.
As was Gabe’s sandwich eating. Wait… yeah that’s right.
“Please don’t sing it”
“My butt is on FIRE. It’s the size of a TIRE”
LOLZ
“We must be doing something right … our son’s a doctor!”
And let there be puke. The joy of being the star. LOL
Bridgit needs to watch her loose tops. She’s showing a little bit of clevage / downblouse at the end of the episode.
Well, this has been an interesting week for fan mail…
I don’t know if you guys remember this youtube video (I think Selena posted it back in 2008) but it was just a minute or two of Selena responding to fan mail.
Feeling inspired I sent in a letter. And I didn’t hear anything back. So last summer (within a week of when I sent my fan letter to Debby Ryan) I tried again.
Well, today I got a response! Although I’ll probably never know if it was in response to the first or second letter…
Cool huh? Well, not really. I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure it’s a pre-print, not a “real” autograph. And it’s only a 5×7 print (I guess to save money and postage costs).
Still, at least I got a response which is more I’ve gotten from most. I’m just spoiled, I guess.
Also, if you haven’t checked Selena’s MySpace blog recently, here’s what she just wrote:
April 14, 2010 – Wednesday

Sel
So, it looks like she’s gonna be out of the country through July. When she’ll then, hopefully, have a chance to do that concert tour she’s been talking about for the past six months. And then, with any luck, Wizards season four. But we’ll see how it goes.
Newcomer Caitlyn Taylor Love stars as “Isabella ‘Izzy’ Fuentes, Tripp’s best friend and neighbor in the Disney XD comedy series “I’m In The Band.”
Born June 16, 1995, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and raised in Harlingen, Texas, Love is a singer, songwriter, dancer and musician. To further her acting and music career aspirations, she entered and won the Talent Division in the Miss Texas Pageant and was crowned Miss Texas Jr. Preteen 2004.
She was also a semi-finalist in “America’s Got Talent” at the age of 12 and landed a role on MTV’s “Punk’d” where she punked pop superstar Rhianna.
Love has a younger sister, Courtney, a younger brother, Landon and two half brothers, Justin and Christopher. When she’s not working, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar and hanging out with her friends.
Ya know, I haven’t commented on how amazing Debby Ryan is recently.
If you’ve been following her on twitter, you’d know that she recently went through her fanmail and sent out a bunch of autographs.
Well, check out what came in the mail today!
Now, I know what you’re thinking, “But Greg, you already met Debby at the expo. Why did you want another autograph?”
I didn’t. I wrote her a letter BEFORE the Expo. August 22nd 2009 to be precise. I had always assumed that she had already seen it, remembered me from the expo, and skipped sending me another autograph. But I guess she was just seven months behind!
Anyway, if you want your own autograph, visit Debby’s website and follow the directions on there.
I’d also like to mention Debby’s new movie What If. Okay, she’s not the star, but she’s still a main character in it.
And because I can, here’s a cute pic of Debby from last week (Easter).
Yes, you heard me right, I went to another Good Luck Charlie filming!
Yesterday (04/09/10) was the filming for episode #124 “Pushing Buttons.”
This show is amazingly well written, and the cast is amazing. In this newest episode, Teddy writes and produces a video about an important day in her life using kids in her drama class – and her mom. Meanwhile, PJ and his Best friend Emmett have girl problems and Gabe wants a new bike.
I almost didn’t get in. The main audience area filled up sooner than expected (eight people came out of literally nowhere ahead of me) but they had some room for a few people in what looked like an overflow area, but was really more of the “lounge” for the family of the cast! Jason Dolley, Micah Williams, and Bradley Perry where hanging out between takes like four feet from where I was sitting. Carmen, the actress who played the Emmit’s girlfriend and her mom where sitting right behind me. I even saw Eric Kramer talking with his wife in the back. It wasn’t an ordinary filming, that’s for sure!
Of course, I made sure to ask the cast members if they had a chance to check out my fansite Good-Luck-Charlie.com and they all said that they had. Even Jason Dolley!
Simply put, this is an amazing show. I hope you’ve all checked it out. The pilot got an astounding 5.7 million viewers last Sunday, so I’m sure many of you did! And be sure to tune in this Sunday for another new episode!
Edit: I don’t know what happened in the comments. “Never mind” apparently wants to see a Good Luck Charlie porno or something. While I’m sure there will be a DCOM at some point, I have a feeling he’ll be disappointed with that too. LOLz
So Chelsea Staub is like the most amazing person alive. Or at least on Twitter.
This tweet really made my Easter: “The Easter Bunny came down the chimney and took all my eggs. Now I can’t have children.” I was literally bursting into laughter all day.
My family thought I was nuts. But they already did, so I guess that’s no big.
But as you can tell, she is really serious about her Easter eggs.
She also “broke the news story about the [Easter] earthquake in AZ! http://bit.ly/aojzLo” and wrote “The Southwest terminal is playing Carole King’s ‘I Feel The Earth Move’ while I wait to board my flight back to Califonia. Poor taste?”
I tell ya, this past Easter was all about Chelsea.
But it doesn’t end there. She also showed us her new iPad:
Yeah, my mom wouldn’t buy me one of those either. LOL
And then, just now, she wrote: “#fallinginlove is hard on the knees.”
And after pondering what that could mean, she added: “Okay, ew. Not like THAT.”
LOL! I would mind her, well, ya know.
Chelsea Staub really is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
Especially Monkey’s at Disneyland.
I may have to make this Chelsea twitter wrap-up a regular feature.
Chris thought you all would enjoy this picture of Milly and Becky Rosso in Bikini tops.
These English twins where discovered at the filming for a Suite Life episode, and went on to appear in seven episodes of the orginal series, and one episode of the spin off series.

Is Wizards Saved?
Wizards of Waverly Place Creator and Executive Producer Todd Greenwald recently tweeted ““Relax everybody. Now you can go back to not doing your homework. ” along with this image:
Selena Gomez (also via Twitter) added: “P.s. Wizards is not over. We’ll be back ”
And while we don’t have an official confirmation (such as a press release from Disney) we feel fairly confident that the show has been renewed and that we will be see seeing Season four.
We’ll be monitoring the situation at SDS, and should we get any any important news regarding season four (one way or the other) we will be sure to pass it along in a future newsletter.
In the mean time, if you still want to email Disney, it couldn’t hurt.
2010 Disney Shareholder Meeting
Disney held their 2010 Annual Meeting of the Shareholders this March 10th in Texas.
Unlike past meetings which played host to events like the late Roy Disney’s Save Disney campaign, this year’s meeting was rather tame. CEO Bob Iger said the Disney Channel “has become a huge value generator for the Company” and that he’s really excited for Toy Story 3. That’s about it.
Phil of the Future‘s J. P. Manoux has told us that Disney XD’s first original series Aaron Stone has been cancelled. Several SDS members have expressed an interest in trying to save this show, but we’re not sure if there’s enough support for the show to pull it off. If you think we should organize a campaign to save Aaron Stone, please contact Webmaster Matthias on twitter, or email Webmaster Greg.
Good Luck Charlie Premieres Sunday!
Good Luck Charlie, Disney Channel’s newest family sitcom staring Bridgit Mendler and Jason Dolley, premieres this coming April 4th at 8:30 PM Eastern and Pacific. But if you don’t want to wait, you can download the first episode “Study Date” for FREE from iTunes for a limited time.
Great news for Aly and Ashley fans. Half a decade after the demise of Phil of the Future, Aly Michalka is getting a new series on the CW. “Hellcats centers on a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks (Michalka) who, after losing her scholarship because of budget cutbacks and her mother’s (Gail O’Grady) chronic irresponsibility, joins the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team.”
But it gets even better because Ashley Tisdale “will play Sierra, the peppy and fiercely intense captain of the Hellcats who, after an initial clash with Marti (Aly Michalka), her new roommate, realizes that she just might be the godsend the Hellcats need to win the championship.”
It’s great to see these two phenomenal actresses returning to TV. And with their combined star power, they’ll hopefully pull in enough of an audience to carry a network show. Stay tuned!
Webmaster Greg also attended a filming for Disney XD’s newest series Pair of Kings on March 25th! This new series stars Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana) and Doc Shaw (The Suite Life on Deck) as twin kings of a tropical island kingdom. But these teenage kings run into more trouble then they expect amid the superstitions and strange customs of the native people.
