My third Good Luck Charlie filming!
Yes, you heard me right, I went to another Good Luck Charlie filming!
Yesterday (04/09/10) was the filming for episode #124 “Pushing Buttons.”
This show is amazingly well written, and the cast is amazing. In this newest episode, Teddy writes and produces a video about an important day in her life using kids in her drama class – and her mom. Meanwhile, PJ and his Best friend Emmett have girl problems and Gabe wants a new bike.
I almost didn’t get in. The main audience area filled up sooner than expected (eight people came out of literally nowhere ahead of me) but they had some room for a few people in what looked like an overflow area, but was really more of the “lounge” for the family of the cast! Jason Dolley, Micah Williams, and Bradley Perry where hanging out between takes like four feet from where I was sitting. Carmen, the actress who played the Emmit’s girlfriend and her mom where sitting right behind me. I even saw Eric Kramer talking with his wife in the back. It wasn’t an ordinary filming, that’s for sure!
Of course, I made sure to ask the cast members if they had a chance to check out my fansite Good-Luck-Charlie.com and they all said that they had. Even Jason Dolley! 
Simply put, this is an amazing show. I hope you’ve all checked it out. The pilot got an astounding 5.7 million viewers last Sunday, so I’m sure many of you did! And be sure to tune in this Sunday for another new episode!
Edit: I don’t know what happened in the comments. “Never mind” apparently wants to see a Good Luck Charlie porno or something. While I’m sure there will be a DCOM at some point, I have a feeling he’ll be disappointed with that too. LOLz

Man three tapings and each one gets better for ya seein all the behind scenes stuff; that is freakin awesome. Knowin that it takes roughly a week’s worth of practicing and rehearsing and pre-show filmin before live audience comes all for a 22min episode is amazing. And with all the outtakes and flubs with each scene it takes the whole night to film the half-hour episode, simply great.
This new series, GLC, is gonna be a hit. Heck these first two episodes that have aired are already funny. And the cast choice is proven to be a success now.

No i do not want p0rn in a disney sitcom. I just find the parent’s acting unconvincing, the whole “dumb brother” theme overused, and the storyline completely stupid. I mean: Who makes video diaries????
My feelings may change with time, but this is no HM or SWAC.

Teddy is making the video diaries for Charlie because of the large age difference between them. Teddy will be married and whatever by the time Charlie is her age, so this is her way of making sure she’s around for her little sis.
It’s a reasonable premise. It certainly makes more sense than a secret popstar whose only disguise is a wig.
And it’s not supposed to be HM or SWAC. It’s supposed to be a straight family comedy. Wizards without the Magic. Or Phil of the Future without the Future stuff.

GLC kinda reminds me of an old show called Full House, exept on GLC, the family is complete and doesn’t have others around to raise the baby.

It kinda reminds me of an old show i used to like called life with derek..but i still say video diaries are kinda dum. And the wig thing is stupid, but you get great laughs out of HM and SWAC.

I remember when I went to the taping and we got into the “video village” area too. It was really cool cause there weren’t many of us back there so I got to have a few conversations with raven goodwin and leigh allyn baker and sit a couple of feet away from jason dolley. It was a pretty sweet deal

Sorry for the ridiculously late response! I saw an episode called “girl bites dog” – absolutely hilarious. I can’t wait to try to go back for another taping once they start filming again!
