Selena was lookin’ good at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles last week. 
She seems to have a thing for strapless dresses recently.
Which is perfectly fine with me. She has this sort of causal elegance thing going on.

Selena Gomez may know what boys want, but after that she’s going to need a vacation in Monte Carlo after.
The 17-year-old starlet has nabbed a role in the upcoming movie based on “Headhunters” by Jules Bass. The film is about a group of American women who ditch a disappointing no-frills holiday in Paris and pose as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco, Variety reports.
While Leighton Meester is still in negotiations, Nicole Kidman is said to play a supporting role and produce the flick.
The updated script has put a younger spin on the story, with two of the characters in college and one just out of high school.
Monte Carlo will also further the relationship between Selena and Fox 2000. The company is producing with Walden Media on Ramona and Beezus.

I know, she’s like the whitest half-hispanic girl ever. But I’m like the whitest half-hispanic guy ever, so it works for me.
And Obama’s as white as both of us, so I have no problem with her going to the awards.

Its good that Selena’s making movies outside Disney, but her choice in movie roles could be better. Hope she makes a film unlike Disney, cause Ramona & Beezus is sooooooo like Disney.

I mean what’s the point of the Disney stars to act outside of Disney if there just gonne make the same type of movies.
Why don’t they make movies like…. Resident Evil or Ninja Assassin. Clearly not Disney type movies.
And I still hope WOWP gets a 4th season or a 2nd movie.

Why don’t Disney stars do Resident Evil type movies? Because their core fans are little girls. And they won’t go see those type of films. So it doesn’t make sense to cast a DC star in such a film. Which is why they don’t offer those roles.

I’m not that big a fan of Duff but her most popular movies are “Cinderella story” “Raise your voice” & “Cheaper by the Dozen 1 & 2″. All these films might aswell be Disney.
As for Miley, okay the Last song isn’t that much of a Disney film.
And for Lindsay, okay you win, clearly she is NOT a Disney girl on screen and off screen.
Also I gotta hand it to Duff, she hasn’t gotten any bad press since leaving Disney (Good for her). Disney must be so proud, they raised a real role model.

Hilary and Lindsay aren’t making movies anymore. At least, nothing noteworthy. (And no, I don’t consider Hilary’s new ABC Family movie a very big deal.)
As for Miley, “The Last Song” is hardly a stretch for her. Although I don’t know much about her future projects.

I haven’t acctually seen the Last song so I can’t judge if its a Disney type movie or not.
But as for what Greg said about Miley’s future projects, I hear she’s makin’ a movie vertion of Wings. Now I’m lookin’ forward for that one.
Wings is often compared to Twilight, but instead of a Vampire/human love story it’s a Fairy/human love story.
