Frequent readers will remember that I went to my first GLC filming last December. At that filming, I got to see the first episode and the one they shot that day, #111 “Kit and Kaboodle.” I decided that wanted to go again towards the end of the season, and I was able to this past Friday (02/12/10)!
Before I went to the filming, I checked my usual sources and I found a high Quality promotional picture of the whole Duncan family!
Friday’s episode was #118, “Butt-Dialing Duncans.” I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say that Teddy and PJ get new phones and they get themselves in a little bit of trouble. I learned that Teddy does have a best friend in the series named Ivy. And the mom in this series is hilarious. You’ll see what I mean, eventually.
Our audience warm up guy, Roger, was a lot of fun. He didn’t do raffle tickets, and instead just handed out candy, signed script covers, and valentines bears. I got a box of candy. My mom said afterward that I should have gotten Bridgit to autograph it. I replied that I should have just given it to her. I met some really awesome people in the audience too. I told them about the site, and if you’re reading this now, well you know who you are.
This episode took a little longer to film than the first one I went to. Leigh Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer (Amy and Bob Duncan) had this one very serious scene, and they just couldn’t stop laughing! One would be okay and the other would laugh, or someone in the audience would, and it was just contagious! We must have wasted 10 minutes – and it’s all on tape. I hope it makes the blooper reel on the eventual DVD. There where some other flubs as well, most of them Bridgit’s. But she’s the star, so she can get away with it.
After the episode wrapped, we got to meet the cast and get our autographs. From Eric’s reaction to my cast photo, I think it’s safe to say that I was the first person to ever bring in that particular cast photo. Cool. I got the whole family too, well, except the baby. LOL
I also brought two copies of the photo of Bridgit and myself from the wizards taping two weeks ago. I asked her to sign one of them for me, and I gave the other one to her. Seems fair to me. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her if she had a chance to check out the website. But I did write it on the photo, just in case she forgot. But I did tell all the other cast members about the GLC fansite, so maybe someone will check it out.
And for the record, Bridgit and Jason did till remember me. Although Jason didn’t remember to check out the site. This time I wrote it down for him.
It’ll be a couple more months before the show premiers, and I’m already a big fan! I said before that “my rule is always to see three episodes before I judge a new series” and now, I have. The thing I love most about this series is that it’s a normal family with normal issues that is explored in a very well written way. I hope the naysayers actually watch a few episodes, ’cause I’d like to see this show stick around for a good four or more seasons.
I still think it’s weird that Disney’s going to burn through the last of the HM season three episodes before the end of next month.
EMMY WINNER JON CRYER GUEST STARS AND LILLY MOVES IN
WITH MILEY’S FAMILY IN A NEW EPISODE OF “HANNAH MONTANA,” PREMIERING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
“The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps on Turnin’)” – When Lilly’s mom accepts a job in Atlanta, Robby invites Lilly to move into the Stewart home. But after Lilly overhears Miley complaining about their new living arrangement, she picks up and moves into her dad Kenneth’s cramped apartment, only to find his antics even more harebrained than Miley’s, in a new episode of “Hannah Montana” premiering SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
“Hannah Montana” stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, Emily Osment as Lilly Truscott, Mitchel Musso as Oliver Oken, Jason Earles as Jackson Stewart, Billy Ray Cyrus as Robby Stewart and Moises Arias as Rico.
Guest starring is Jon Cryer (“Two and a Half Men”) as Lilly’s dad, Kenneth Truscott.
“The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps on Turnin’)” was written by Jay J. Demopoulos and Steven James Meyer and directed by Bob Koherr.
“Hannah Montana” carries a TV-G parental guideline.
This whole “best friend moves in” thing seems to happen a lot on Disney shows…
Finally! It’s been three weeks since we saw the cover of the Disneymania 7 CD but now we finally have 30 second snippets and the full track listing!
And yes, I am more excited about this album than I am the StarStruck Soundtrack. What’s it to ya?

2. Trust in Me Selena Gomez
3. Real Gone Honor Society
4. If I Never Knew You Tiffany Thornton
5. Stand Out Mitchel Musso

12. Part of Your World Anna Maria Perez de Taglé
13. What I’ve Been Looking For Alyson Stoner
14. The Gift of a Friend Demi Lovato
15. Hakuna Matata Debby Ryan
Selena Gomez is always amazing, and she certainly has an interesting song. I’m not quite sure she pulled it off, but I’m anxious to hear the whole track!
I refuse to like Honor Society on principle, but they did a pretty good job on Real Gone. I won’t deny that.
Another strong showing from Tiffany Thornton. We already knew she could sing, but she continues to impress. Any chance of a album? If Demi can cut one while filming and touring, Tiff can too.
Wow. I guess Bridgit Mendler can sing. I don’t know why I’m so surprised, but I was very impressed.
Ruby Summer gets a mention because she picked one of my all time favorite Disney songs, from one of my least favorite disney movies. LOL
Alyson Stoner did a nice job on What I’ve Been Looking For, although I don’t know why she did something so contemporary.
Could Demi Lovato not make time to record one new song? The Gift of a Friend does not belong on this album.
Last but not least, they finally got Debby Ryan to sing a real song! Based on that 30 seconds, I wanna say good – not great. Of course, I reserve the right to change my opinion once I hear the whole song.

I came across some pics of the always lovely Demi Lovato preforming in fishnets at The Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on July 20, 2009.
This was the show I could have gone to, that I really wanted to go to, but ended up not going to.
I had already seen Demi twice (first at the Roxy in LA and then again in LA a few months later) so I decided to use my money to see Miley’s concert instead. And I don’t regret it, but I’d have loved to see both.
I actually found this photoshoot last week when I was looking for new HiRes pics of Selena that I could get signed at the WOWP filming, but now that I have a little time to get caught up, I wanted to post these here.
This photo is the one I got signed, and is my second favorite picture of Selena, ever.
Selena took one look at it and said she looked terrible. LOL Is it really that bad? I still love it.
If you noticed, I said that was my second favorite photo. This is my first.
She has such beautiful eyes. I just feel like melting.
Anyway, click any picture to see the full set. It’s totally worth your time.
Well, we still don’t know when they’re gonna premiere season two of Sonny with a Chance. Director Eric Dean Seaton tweeted a premiere date, but then quickly took it down. So the mystery continues!
But to help hold you all over, here’s a few photos of Demi and her cast mates, reportedly from last Friday’s SWAC filming.
I wouldn’t trade my WOWP filming for anything, but Demi’s mini concert afterwards looked like an amazing time as well.
