So here’s a picture of Emily Osment preforming at the House of Blues in LA this past weekend.

And I have to admit, she’s looking good. Really good. Maybe even better than when I saw her not quite three weeks ago.
I hope that this music thing really takes off for her. She has some real talent and I’d love to see her succeed.
And we’re less than a week away from the release of All The Right Wrongs! You can even preorder the CD for only $6 on Amazon. Not too bad.
Of course, she already sold me with the live versions. But you can listen to the entire EP right now for free! Click here to visit JSYK.com for the free preview.

I wanted to thank Estin at Girl2Watch (a new website and email newsletter that helps entertainment lovers discover, connect with and watch Hollywood’s hottest up-and-coming female stars) for letting me know that Chelsea Staub is their girl of the week.
I read through their interview(s) with Chelsea and found this part about JONAS particularly interesting.
We met when I first auditioned for the show. They already had the show going for them, but they they hadn’t released an album, they hadn’t done the Miley Cyrus tour, they hadn’t done a tour of their own, they had never been on the cover of the Rolling Stone. We started the show two years ago and it was put on hold because of the writer’s strike. So in that two years that we were holding production, the Jonas Brothers just went from this little band to this phenomenon.
Frequent readers will remember that she spoke about getting her role on JONAS when I saw her at the D23 Expo, but it wasn’t until today that I realized how old the idea for the show really was.

In fact, now that I think about it, that long delay caused by the writers strike probably was a big part of why they changed the premise of the show.
I wish I could ask her when they decided to add Nicole Anderson’s Macy to the cast. Blah, a month too late. And I just realized could have also just asked Nicole herself. Oh well, maybe next time.
I also learned that Chelsea’s favorite male feature are lips. I could have used that info last month too!
If you want, click to see more about Chelsea from Girl2Watch.

My fellow Selena fans,
I thought you would all would like to know that Disney has extended the WOWP Season 3 order which will bring the series to 86 episodes. Which is good, but we’re gonna have to make sure that there’s a season four of at least 14 episodes. That’s so raven made it to 100, and Wizards deserves nothing less!

Disney press release follows:
DISNEY CHANNEL ORDERS ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF ITS
EMMY-WINNING COMEDY, “WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE”
Kids and Tweens Connect to Milestone Making Series
on TV, Online and at Retail
Disney Channel has ordered additional third-season episodes of its Emmy Award-winning comedy series, “Wizards of Waverly Place,” bringing the episodic count to 86 episodes thus far, plus a blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie that premiered in August.
In making the announcement, Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide, said: “The appeal of ‘Wizards’ is simple: it’s our extraordinary cast. This is undoubtedly one of the strongest comedic ensembles on television. When you couple that with an incredibly gifted writing and producing team, the result is pure comedic magic.”
Created by Todd J. Greenwald and executive-produced by Peter Murrieta, Greenwald, Vince Cheung and Ben Montanio, the series stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise.
The series recently reached a new pinnacle of achievement by winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Program, and inspiring the critically acclaimed “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” that ranks as cable TV’s #2 scripted telecast of all time in Total Viewers (13.5 million), Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and TV’s #1 telecast of 2009 among Kids 6-11, surpassing NBC’s Super Bowl coverage. The series was also a key part of a special Disney Channel series crossover episode, “Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana,” which delivered a noteworthy 9.2 million Total Viewers.
Its solid rapport with kids and tweens has also cast a spell off TV with a Walt Disney Records CD that ranks #3 on the Billboard Kids Chart. Its debut track, “Magic,” by Selena Gomez, has been on Radio Disney’s Top 5 most requested chart since its July premiere. Also available are books, two compilation DVDs from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, and a fast-selling DS console game from Disney Interactive Studios. The Disney Consumer Products “BoHo Chic”-inspired back to school fashion collection, available nationwide at retailers including Sears, Kmart and Wal-mart, exceeded expectations, and new lines are currently in development with character Alex Russo’s style as inspiration. The consumer products line also includes accessories, bedding, stationery and fashion dolls and will continue to expand as the franchise grows.
Series star Selena Gomez makes her solo recording debut with the CD “Kiss & Tell” from Selena Gomez & The Scene, releasing September 29 on Hollywood Records.
Selena Gomez is the national spokesperson for Sears’ Back to School initiative, “Don’t Go Back Arrive.” Sears was the exclusive sponsor of “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” premiere and “Wizards of Waverly Place Arrive in Style” sweepstakes on Disney Channel, Radio Disney and Disney Online and in-store at Sears.
Sara Lee features “Wizards of Waverly Place” on 40 million packages and in-store displays as part of its school year-long promotion of Soft and Smooth bread products. A sweepstakes promotion for a chance to win lunch with the stars of “Wizards of Waverly Place” is on Disney Channel, Disney Online and Radio Disney and in FamilyFun Magazine.
“Wizards of Waverly Place” anchors ‘Wiz-tober,’ a Halloween programming event hosted by Gomez, Henrie, Austin and Stone, beginning THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1. Season three premieres FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT), with new episodes presented on Friday nights throughout October on Disney Channel.
“Wizards of Waverly Place” is a production of It’s a Laugh Productions for Disney Channel and carries a TV-G parental guideline.

I said a few days ago that I was gonna try and get caught up with posting Suite Life on Deck Season Two Screencaps, and I’m making progress with these “Goin’ Bananas” screencaps!
I really enjoyed the texting B-plot – especially London’s text message to Chelsea!

Woody’s C-plot with “Second life” was funny too.

But of course, the main plot point had to do with Zack’s alleged fear of Bananas.

I’m not sure why they dressed Cody up as a banana, though. That therapist seemed kinda shady.

Ink blots? Seriously? LOL
Speaking of illogical, why was Baily trying to study with London? LOL

I think she’s realized that’s not gonna work. Although she does help London discover her hand-writing talents.

Here’s one more pic of Baily with London. Why? I liked it.

Now, if you remember I wrote a post about the Wizards Pannel at the D23 Expo last month. It was mostly an excuse to post a couple pics I took of Selena and a video or two from the event.

But now I’ve found a very good review of the event from the Official D23 website, and I wanted to share it with you all.
The D23 Arena was THE place to be Sunday afternoon at the Expo for any Disney Channel fan. From the moment the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place entered the room for their panel, they instantly had the crowd under their spell!
But before the main event began, there was a fashion show of the hot new clothing line inspired by the series (available soon in stores like Sears, Wal-Mart and JC Penny) and a screening of the upcoming Wizards season premiere. Then it was time for the real fun to begin. Fresh off their Emmy win the night before for Outstanding Children’s Program, Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone and Maria Canals-Barrera, along with executive producers Peter Murrieta and Todd Greenwald came on stage one by one, statues in hand, and were greeted with a long round of enthusiastic screams of excitement that seemed to echo throughout the entire convention center!
The shouts of joy from the kids in the room never stopped throughout the entire Q and A session, as the gang told stories of their lives before the show, favorite memories from the set, meeting each other for the first time and when they realized the effect the show was making on fans. For Selena, that moment came when a young boy approached her and asked if the magic on the show was real. “I asked him, ‘Do you believe it’s real?’ He almost started crying and said, ‘Yes, I do think it’s real’ and I said, ‘Then that’s all that matters,’” Selena recalled. “That’s when I realized what an impact the show was having on people.”
Then the audience got in on the act with their own questions for the cast — including a marriage proposal for David and Selena receiving a flower from a young male admirer! The Wizards gang also revealed that Harper would be moving in with the Russos this season, Justin would be taking up monster hunting, Max would be conjuring up more spells and Alex, well, she will still be single and causing trouble. As soon as the questions were done and the cast bid the audience adieu, the event was capped off by an amazing performance from Honor Society.
An Emmy win plus one of the warmest and most energetic welcomes at the D23 Expo made for an afternoon even the Wizards group won’t soon forget. “When you win an Emmy, you can celebrate with your family and friends, but to have won this last night and to celebrate with the fans, it’s an unbelievable experience,” Todd tells D23. “To have four thousand people screaming in that room was surreal and it was the cherry on the cake of the whole weekend!”

Yeah, you may have seen these already because I’m a bit behind, but for anyone who isn’t a supper-obsessive ‘nessa fan (no offense to those who are) I wanted to share these scans from the October 2009 issue of Allure Magazine .

Sweet cover pic, right? Only gets better inside.

Very dramatic.

Very hot.

And this last one you’ll want to enlarge so you can read it.

Frequent readers will no doubt remember that I recently posted photos from Miley’s concert in Anaheim.
But I just ran across some professional photos from her concert at Staples Center (the day before my show) and these are just too amazing not to post!

And check out the cleavage in this pic! My goodness!

And this one picture from “Bottom of the Ocean” sure shows a lot of leg.

Click on any of the pics to see the whole set.

It’s about time we got some Suite Life on Deck Season Two Screencaps up, don’t ya think? And the honor of first episode goes to “Family Thais” in which we meet London’s Grandma.

For some reason, Baily goes with her – in a cute hat.

London doesn’t have a lot of fun during her visit…

Which only gets worse.

While Baily makes herself right at home.

Meanwhile, Cody makes a video of how much he misses Baily,

And Zach tries to score with the ladies.

And because it’s a Disney show, London and her grandma resolve their issues by the end of the episode,

And Zack and Hilary both settle. LOL

And because I can, one more picture of London,

And Bailey.
