Disney Channel Fans

I’m surprised Bridgit hasn’t done more modeling. Even Debby Ryan has an impressive portfolio before landing “On Deck.”

Not that these few pictures aren’t cute, I just expected to find a little more.

I mean, she’s too cute for there to not be more pictures out there!

I’ve had these pics of Vanessa for quite a while, but I forgot about them and they just never got posted. Until now at least.

Vanessa posed for Self Magazine way back in May 2009.

And I think she looked really cute.

And I think this one falls inder the wow category.

Definitely a wow.

So I came across a nice set of Miley Photos from her photoshoots for Breakout.

She looks really cute in some of these.

And quite elegant in some others.

She’s so hot she needs a fire extinguisher! LOL

I just found these, and thought I’d share.

It’d be nice if they didn’t write all over her face, but that’s Seventeen for you. LOL

I went to see Bandslam today. As usual, I went to the first showing of the day (1:55PM) at my favorite theater. There where like 5 other people there, which is what I was going for.

I had high hopes for this movie, as it stars two of my favorite Disney girls, Aly Michalka and Vanessa Hudgens. and I must say, it did not disappoint.

The story is really about Will, and how he copes with moving to New Jersey.

Aly’s character Charlotte is a very interesting character. She was a typical self centered bitchy blond until her dad got sick and she decided to change her ways. She began volunteering, ditched her snooty friends, and genuinely became a pretty good person.

Vanessa’s character, on the other hand, wasn’t that interesting at all. Sa5m is an artistic loner that found her voice due to Will.

And strangely, Aly and Vanessa have very little interaction during the film. It’s pretty much Will and Sa5m do stuff then Will and Charlotte do stuff.

That said, the stuff they did was pretty good. Aly had some great rehearsal scenes in the first 2/3 of the film. And Vanessa totally stole the show in the performance at the end of the movie at the Bandslam competition.

I will say one thing, Gaelan Connell is a very lucky man. His character actually got to kiss both Aly and Vanessa!

I was also very impressed with Lisa Kudrow’s portrayal of Will’s mom. This is one of the few teen movies I’ve ever seen that actually had a parent as a realistic and relateable character.

All in all, I was very impressed with the film. It’s no Oscar winner, but it delivered on what it promised.

I had kinda wanted to watch the Teen choice Awards before I made a post about them, but at my current pace, it’d be 2010 before I commented! LOL

Anyway, my favorite girl, Ashley Tisdale was there, and she was looking fabulous.

My other favorite, Selena Gomez, was there as well. Looking very elegant, if I do say so myself.

Miley has taken to showing off her legs. No complains here.

Although a lot have parents have complained over her pole dancing. Which is hardly the most risque thing she’s ever done.

Speaking of risque photos, Vanessa Hudgens looked stunning (even with all those pesky clothes)

Tizz never looks bed, but unfortunately her hair was just sorta flat in these pics. There’s something not quite right.

Selena looked a little off too. The hair? The dress? I’m not sure.

Still, I loved seeing them together at the Magic of Mentoring event.

I’m still getting caught up. But most of the older screencaps are up now so I can start uploading new caps again.

I was going through some old books of mine when I found this printed Disney Channel schedule. This schedule was back when DC was a premium channel and I would guess is from around 1992 or so.

I can remember a few of these, like “Under the Umbrella Tree. ” That was my favorite show back in the day.  And I was glad to see “Adventures in Wonderland” on there! I wasn’t sure if it was a real show or just something I had imagined!

I know a lot of you younger readers will have never heard of these shows, but finding this meant a lot to me, and I wanted to share it.
