Demi Lovato preforms at the WI State Fair
I would like to thank my good friend meiamj for these photos and videos of Demi Lovato preforming at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 9th 2009.
This was a condensed set for her and she was the only act performing. Both her and Jordan Pruitt were advertised to begin at 6pm but beginning around 3.30pm some heavy rain started up which cut sound checks short as the rain continued for 40 some minutes but then another batch started up less than an hour later and that second batch prompted the Severe Thunderstorm Warning to be issued for wind speeds exceeding 60mph, which they easily were too. This warning was active until 6pm, the original showtime. After, the start was pushed back to 7pm but Demi didn’t come out till 7.30pm. Everything was very wet and the stage had to be mopped up and uncovering the equipment. Seeing as how this took time I understood the delay but at least there still was a show. Jordan never came out as Demi’s band was set up first. Lots of kids had signs for Demi, Jordan and strangely enough David. I don’t think nobody really knew for sure who would be opening but with David singing solo in Sioux Falls, SD last night it would not be him. Anyways Demi comes out and the show began at 7.30pm. Demi seemed happy to be playing but also seemed worried, maybe cause of the storms? The kids were mostly into the show but were maybe surprised that Demi was the only act performing. It could have lasted longer and Demi could have sung more but it was seeming obvious that she was being rushed through her shortened set.
