In honor of Selena’s birthday, I wanted to make sure to post these screencaps from last month.
Back on June 16th, Selena want on Live With Regis and Kelly to promote Princess Protection Program.

After that, she was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. And her little gum trick is still cool.

Ashley Tisdale is in the upcoming movie “Aliens In The Attic” which opens on July 31st. Although you wouldn’t know it, as it seems most of Ashley’s time is being spent on promoting her album which drops July 28th.
I wasn’t going to see the movie in theaters. I thought about it, and decided DVD would be good enough.
But then I saw the promotional stills of Ashley in a Bikini from the film. She’s even a blond for the role. Now, I think I’ll have to see it.

For more info, check the Oficial Website.
So, who else is going?

I believe I’ve mentioned Aly Michalka and Vanessa Hudgen’s new movie Bandslam before. But I wanted to share the movie poster with you all.

I’m gonna have to see this one, even if only to see Aly and V together. It comes out August 14th.
Edit: More about the movie was just posted on Aly & AJ’s official website.
Speaking of Aly, I also just learned that she’s shooting a movie with Emma Stone called Easy A in Ojai, Calif.
In the movie, a clean-cut high school student, Olive (Stone), relies on the school’s rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing. Aly plays Olive’s pal Rhiannon. The flick is set to premiere in 2010.

Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana was a ratings blockbuster scoring a 9.3 making it the highest rated cable program of the year, and besting everything else the channel has premiered since HSM2!

I’d like to site two articles. The first is from Reuters.
Disney Channel’s crossover special “Wizards on Deck With Hannah Montana” was the most-watched scripted telecast on cable so far this year.
The 90-minute Friday night event, which featured episodes of “Hannah Montana,” “The Suite Life on Deck” and “Wizards of Waverly Place,” was seen by a massive 9.3 million viewers. It also marked TV’s top scripted telecast this year among kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14. Disney Channel out delivered second-place CBS for the evening by than 4 million viewers.
The program marked the best time-period numbers for Disney Channel since the 2007 premiere of “High School Musical 2.” It also topped previous network crossover events, drawing 82% more viewers than 2007′s “Cory in the House,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” and “Hannah Montana” mash-up, and 41% more than 2006′s “That’s So Raven,” “Zack & Cody” and “Hannah Montana” combo.
And the second is from is from TV Guide.
Disney Channel’s Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana Friday-night crossover event drew 9.3 million viewers, claiming a variety of ratings records.
First and foremost, the 90-minute intermingling of the channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life on Deck and Hannah Montana established itself as cable’s most-watched scripted program of the year to date, edging out Disney’s own Princess Protection Program (which premiered last month).
Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana’s strong showing also gave Disney Channel the honor of being TV’s most-watched network during its 90-minute run.
Disney also notes that in head-to-head competition during the 8 o’clock hour, WoDwHM more than doubled the audience for the opening night of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants 10th anniversary celebration.
Compared to Disney’s past multi-show mergers, Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana improved upon 2007′s Cory in the House-Suite Life of Zack & Cody-Hannah mash-up by 82 percent, and bested 2006′s That’s So Raven-Suite Life-Hannah crossover by 41 percent.
It looks like Debby Ryan got the best of SpongBob this time!

Demi Lovato’s Second Album is in stores now!

From what I’ve heard of it so far, I think it;s safe to say that Demi’s done it again.
And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the video of Demi Lovato at Walmart’s Soundcheck. It’s a really great performance!

Compared to the first three way cross over, I think this one was a huge improvement. And I’ve posted screencaps from each of the three parts of the series.
First up, Cast Away (To Another Show).
Alex uses Pizza to get her way.

Justin almost kisses London.

Alex and Bailey become fast friends.

And someone thought it was a good idea to push Bailey in the pool.

I love wet t-shirts.
Next up, Double-Crossed.
In this episode, Hannah and Lola board the SS Tipton. And Lilly learns that “They care about Lola!”

Zach and Alex spend some quality time together.

Justin’s Blue but Moseby’s helping out.

And Bailey and Cody finally kiss!

The last episode, Super(stitious) Girl.
After Miley lost her wig, she tried one of Lilly’s. LOL

After that, we see Miley go green. I think I liked the blue better!

Back in LA, we see the guys opened Robbie Ray’s package.

And we got to see Cody & Bailey as a couple.

I was like “Awwwww” when I saw it. =]
And that’s Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana in a nutshell. There where a few other pics of Selena that I liked that I’ll post on the forum.

What follows are two news articles about the next Disney channel Series “Good Luck Charlie” staring Bridgit Mendler.

The first article is from The Hollywood Reporter.
Disney eyes another teen star
Bridgit Mendler takes lead in new sitcom
By Paul Bond

It’s too early to compare her to Miley Cyrus or Vanessa Hudgens, but Disney Channel thinks it could have another star in the making and has given her the lead role in a new sitcom.
The show is called “Good Luck Charlie” and the star is 16-year-old Bridgit Mendler.
“We just fell in love with her,” said Adam Bonnett, senior vp original programming at Disney Channel. “She has all the attributes of a Disney star.”
Disney Channel first cast Mendler on freshman comedy “Jonas,” where she appeared in two episodes playing a love interest for Nick Jonas.
That was followed by a four-episode stint on “Wizards of Waverly Place.” In the upcoming arc, Mendler plays “an everyday girl with a sunny disposition who is a blood-sucking vampire,” Bonnett said.
In her first starring role on “Charlie,” slated to debut next year on Disney Channels worldwide, Mendler plays Teddy Holliday alongside Disney Channel regular Jason Dolley, who plays her brother Casey. When their parents go back to work full time after having a baby, the care and feeding of their new sister — nicknamed Charlie — falls to the teenage siblings.
A hook in the show has Teddy creating a video diary for Charlie that chronicles the day’s adventures and offers her baby sister advice for when she grows older.
Bonnett describes “Charlie” as “a family show from a kid’s point of view.”
“It felt like the right time to have a show with two parents, to debunk the myth that Disney never has the mom in the picture,” he said. “Because it is a myth.”
The parents on the show are played by “Will & Grace” veteran Leigh Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer. Also in the family is a 10-year-old son, played by newcomer Bradley Perry.
From It’s a Laugh Prods., “Charlie” was created and is executive produced by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen (“What I Like About You”). Also exec producing is “Cheers” veteran Dan Staley.
The second article is from Broadcasting & Cable.
Disney Channel Orders ‘Good Luck Charlie’
Live action multi-camera sitcom to premiere in 2010
By Alex Weprin — Broadcasting & Cable, 7/15/2009 3:08:24 PM EDT
Disney Channel has ordered Good Luck Charlie, a multi-camera live action sitcom. Production on the new series will begin in August, with a premiere slated for 2010.
Charlie follows two teenagers, Teddy and Casey, who, with the help of their 10 year-old brother Gabe, pitch in to take care of their new baby sister Charlotte (aka Charlie), while their parents are busy working full time. Each episode will feature a “video diary” from Teddy, chronicling his antics so that Charlie can use it for advice later on in her life.
Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen (Suddenly Susan, What I Like About You) are the creators and executive producers, with Dan Staley (Cheers) also on board as EP.
Bridgit Mendler (Wizards of Waverly Place) stars as Teddy, with Jason Dolley on board as Corey, Bradley Steven Perry as Gabe with Eric Allan Kramer and Leigh Allyn Baker as their parents.

This just in via Twitter (which is getting seriously addicting) Aly and AJ just got their belly buttons pierced!
As frequent readers will know, I think belly button piercings are hot, so I fully support the girls in this decision. Especially since it’s an excuse for them to pull up their shirts and show some midriff.

Aly wrote: “We finally got our belly buttons pierced, we were shopping on Melrose Ave, and decided to get it done Xo It didn’t hurt too bad. It was about a 6 from a 1 to 10 scale. Xo aly”
AJ Added: “I think it was a 7 or an 8 on the pain scale Xo AJ”
