Bandslam and Easy A
I believe I’ve mentioned Aly Michalka and Vanessa Hudgen’s new movie Bandslam before. But I wanted to share the movie poster with you all.
I’m gonna have to see this one, even if only to see Aly and V together. It comes out August 14th.

Speaking of Aly, I also just learned that she’s shooting a movie with Emma Stone called Easy A in Ojai, Calif.
In the movie, a clean-cut high school student, Olive (Stone), relies on the school’s rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing. Aly plays Olive’s pal Rhiannon. The flick is set to premiere in 2010.

Yeah G this is quite the good bunch, putting Aly and Vanessa together is any DC fan’s dream. Too bad I don’t see any pub coming from Disney as if so this movie would instantly be the top. I need to see a couple more clips to judge if the story/plot is worthy of paying 5$US to see in theatres and to give my stamp of approval.

Bandslam certainly has HSM size potential. It could even be bigger, depending on the script. Aly’s no Ashley, but sh ain’t far off either.
And you can see a movie for $5? A matinee out here is $8!

Yup G that’s the good ole midwest or heartland for ya. Here movies before noon are only 5$US on the weekends and holidays. After that they are 6.50$US for matinées and 8.50$US for evenings.
We are slower and still behind the times up here, well at least outside of the big cities, i.e. Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis, things are priced lower.
