Disney Channel Fans

So… I’m slowly getting into Twitter. I’m still skeptical about the idea of writing my own tweets (Do I do anything interesting? LOL) but I’m finding it a valuable tool to follow what others are doing.

I mean, I didn’t know Demi was preforming in Peru.

Or that there is a Chuck Norris Pez dispenser (Demi is a fan, clearly).

I also didn’t know that Debby Ryan and Jennifer Stone knew each other. Let along do stuff together.

And while I’m at it, Here’s Debby with a traffic cone she (okay, her driver) ran over.

More bikini pics right on the heels of those new ones of Miley Cyrus! Not that I’m complaining.

Ashley kicked off her publicity tour for her new CD Guilty Pleasure last weekend. These pics where taken at her hotel in Miami.

Now, there’s not much we haven’t seen before, but at one point, she actually had her top undone and her legs in the air!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but but me likey.

It looks like the Disney Cruise Line has decided to leverage the popularity of The Suite Life on Deck and the Disney channel in general to drum up some extra business this summer.

In a Disney exclusive, numerous Disney Channel stars will set sail this summer, joining thousands of Disney Cruise Line guests aboard the Disney Wonder for eight special sailings during the first-ever “Disney Channel Summer at Sea,” presented by Kodak.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Disney Channel and offer guests on our ship a unique opportunity to sail with Disney Channel stars,” said Disney Cruise Line President Karl Holz. “A cruise vacation with Disney Cruise Line is always a family-favorite and ‘Disney Channel Summer at Sea’ provides families another reason to set sail and experience the Disney difference.”

Popular stars from Disney Channel shows like “Hannah Montana,” “Sonny With A Chance,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” “JONAS,” “Camp Rock,” “High School Musical” and “Hatching Pete” will sail with guests on three- and four-night Bahamian cruises taking place July 9 through August 2. During these themed sailings, Disney Channel stars will help pump up the volume during onboard deck parties and will join guests for Q & A and autograph sessions along with preview screenings of Disney Channel programming. The onboard fun culminates with a “Party with the Stars” event, an evening where guests can join the stars for a special live musical performance. As an added treat, Radio Disney will broadcast live from the ship during two of the cruises.

Aligning with Kodak’s “It’s Time to Smile” campaign, all Disney fans will be able to share in the ship-to-shore fun online. Select video-blog reporters onboard the ship will capture their magical vacation memories on a ‘KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera’ and post video from their voyages at www.disneycruise.com/summeratsea.

Each cruise during “Disney Channel Summer at Sea” will include multiple Disney Channel stars. Among those scheduled to sail include Tiffany Thornton from “Sonny With A Chance” (July 9 & 12), Nicole Anderson “JONAS”, Jason Earles from “Hannah Montana” (July 16 & 19), Mitchel Musso from “Hannah Montana” (July 19), Jason Dolley from “Hatching Pete” (July 23 & 26), Debby Ryan from “The Suite Life on Deck” (July 30) and Alyson Stoner from “Camp Rock” (Aug. 2). More stars will be announced shortly, guests can visit www.disneycruise.com/summeratsea frequently for up-to-date information on the line-up of stars sailing. “Disney Channel Summer at Sea” adds to the family-friendly fun found onboard a Disney ship. At a site like this, this is the sort of news that sends tremors through the community. And there was a 4.7 magnitude earthquake in LA this afternoon. Coincidence? I think not!

Anyway, Miley was in the Bahamas to preform at the Atlantis resort, and she decided to hit the beach before the show with her parents and siblings Braison and Noah.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Miley in a bikini, but it is the first time she’s actually been wearing it on a beach, and in a bathtub with backup dancers.

And there is a nice rear view as well.

I still think Selena Gomez is cuter, but I must admit that Miley is looking very good.

In honor of Debby’s 16th Birthday I’ve put together a few great headshots of her that I’ve collected over the past few months.

“Sonny and the Studio Brat” was a fun episode. We got to meet the head of the studio and his, err, charming daughter.

I loved Tawni’s “selfless” act at the beginning of the show where she saved Sonny so her show wouldn’t be canceled. And I couldn’t help but wonder if shows ever are canceled because a cast member ticks off the wrong person…

Random things I liked: LOL cheese pants,

that poor gnome, the basement was rockin’,

“I can see you Chad.”

Chad had some good lines in this episode, “Because if you where important enough you’d have the number to the phone I actually answer” “I answered the wrong phone again?” “I so need a third phone” “So you can see how busy I am”

But as usual, sonny has the best line of the show: “He still thinks Miley and Hannah are two different people.”

Sonny got a little tied up at one point. I don’t know how that little girl managed that. LOL!

Tawni had way too much fun with Chad. Or rather, at his expense!

And I guess that’s about it for this episode.

Okay Selena lovers, I’ve finally got a batch of updates ready to share with you all.

The first is an Unknown Photoshoot, I assume for some sort of magazine. This shoot was the origin of the bikini top photo that first surfaced a couple months back.

And while low quality, this shoot had a lot cute shots.

This next set is an Earth Day promotion featuring Selena Gomez, Emily Osment, Maiara Walsh, and Alyson Stoner.

I want to thank the good people at Pepsi for this Selena photoset. I don’t know what they had to do with it, but they did something with it.

Today (May 13th 2009) is Debby’s 16th birthday!

Disney has released a DVD double pack of Dadnapped and Hatching Pete. My guess is they’re worried that people wouldn’t buy both, so they slapped the two togetherness and raised the price slightly. Smart move, IMO.

Pete’s (Jason Dolley) best friend Poole (Mitchel Musso) wants to keep up his family’s longstanding tradition of playing their high school mascot, the Chicken, but Poole is allergic to the costume. Pete agrees to stand in for his pal, but only on the condition that his identity remains a secret. The anonymity of the Chicken suit gives Pete the freedom he’s always dreamed of and a whole new personality emerges. His unexpectedly outrageous antics make the Chicken an instant celebrity— except no one knows it’s Pete.
