Dateline & Chocolates

Posted on: Monday, December 15th, 2008 in: Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, The Suite Life

It’s been a bit of a rough holiday season so far. But I’ve got a whole crop of screencaps that I hope to be getting up this coming week. First up are two episodes of the Suite Life on Deck.

In episode #6, “International Dateline,” Cody is stuck in a time loop and used the experience to woo Bailey – getting better each time. Eventually, he manages to sweep her off her feet.

Unfortunately for him, time loops once more and she doesn’t remember any of it.

Also, London:

In #9, “Flowers and Chocolate,” The boys are joined by some old friends from Boston – Bob and Barbara.

But unbeknownst to the twins, their two friends began dating the night that they left! And the now jealous Cody then claims Bailey as his new girlfriend – without filling her in on the issue. But he did eventually get a kiss out of the whole deal, so maybe he’s smarter than I give him credit for.

Oh, and one of London’s friends showed up too. I forget her name. The B plot was kinda stupid.

Another Demi Lovato Concert in LA (Part 1)

Posted on: Wednesday, December 10th, 2008 in: Demi Lovato, Webmaster Greg

On Monday December 8th, The talented Demi Lovato had an hour long concert at the Wiltern theater in Los Angeles, California. I was there, just like I was when she preformed at the Roxy back in July.

For starters, this theater was a LOT bigger. On a one to ten scale, I’s say the Wiltern is about a four, where the Roxy and any of the House of Blues are what I consider a 1 (small venues). Sports arenas are good examples of a 10 (Large venues). I don’t believe we had a sell out, but it was a rather full house.

She had two short opening acts, KSM and Honor Society. I hadn’t heard of either, but then again I’m not a teenage girl either. It took me almost an hour before I realized that all the messages txt-ed to the screen about “Edward” where about that vampire guy from Twilight. And I was funny when everyone booed at the pro-Miley, anit-Twilight, etc. messages.

Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my camera. I hadn’t been to this theater before, and I didn’t want to risk losing my place in line. As it turns out, I would have been fine but by the time I found out it was too late. So if any one else who was there would be kind enough to send me some of your photos I will love you forever and put them up on the site. You can email me at greg@dcfans.tv thanks!

The show, as I said, was about an hour long. Demi did every song off her album except “On the Line.” This included “Believe In Me” which Demi said was a first for her at a concert. She also did “That’s How You Know” from Enchanted, “This is me” from Camp Rock and “Daydream” (a cover). All of which she did the last time I saw her. She also did a cover of Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name” and John Mayer’s “Daughters.” the one song I expected that she didn’t do was “Who Will I be” from Camp Rock.

Article: Disney Orders More ‘Hannah,’ ‘Suite Life on Deck’

Disney Channel Tuesday said it has ordered additional episodes for the third season of Hannah Montana and a second season of The Suite Life on Deck—the network’s hit live-action series.

In the fourth quarter, Hannah Montana was basic cable’s top-rated series among kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 and the No. 1 scripted series in total viewers. The Suite Life on Deck is currently ranks second among kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 and is the third most-watched scripted series on basic cable in total viewers.

“The talent behind Hannah Montana has made it a true global sensation and cultural icon not just on television, where it topped the ratings on Disney Channels around the globe, but as a chart-topping music act and beyond,” Gary Marsh, president of entertainment for Disney Channels Worldwide, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled with the extraordinary performance of our newest series, The Suite Life on Deck, in the U.S. and globally, and we look forward to telling more great stories with this talented cast and production team.”

Since its premiere in September, The Suite Life on Deck has reached 27 million unduplicated viewers worldwide. Set aboard a luxury cruise liner, the series tells the story of teenage twins Zack and Cody Martin and hotel heiress London Tipton as they spend a semester at sea aboard the SS Tipton.

Why would they extend the third season if they where planning on making a fourth? I therefore theorize that DC is planning on ending HM with season three. But it’s just a theory.
